The company puts on a great recital. All the kids received a trophy and there was food for the guests. When you miss a class they are very flexible in refunding you or giving you credit for the next month.

Sally Piano Music and our piano instructor, Nathan B., have been a positive influence on my 9 year old daughter. My daughter had lessons with a another, private, instructor and was not motivated to practice and even asked to quit. After hearing my concerns for a new instructor, Sally paired us with Nathan, who within our first lesson eased my daughter’s hesitation
and found piano pieces that she preferred. Since our switch to Nathan, my daughter can’t wait for her lessons to start and has a passion for music again.

I enjoy having Sally Piano Music as a great resource for providing wonderful music instructors. My 7 year old daughter takes piano lessons from Sally Piano Music. Her instructor, Jimmy Hwang, is awesome! He’s clear with the objectives and very patient. My daughter enjoys piano and looks forward to her lessons. The owner, Sally, is beyond nice! She responds quickly to questions and is very helpful :) If you’re in search for piano instruction Sally Piano Music is helpful in meeting your needs.

Sally Piano was recommended by a teacher for my 7 year old son and we really enjoy the lessons. I purchased a thriftstore piano and it has been a joy. We’re a musical household (in a play by ear way) and to see my son focus his efforts for just a small while to learn to play and read music by (our 2nd instructor), Mr. Deal, has been great. He teaches all ages via Sally Piano and he really has a way to reach children. Each session they play a new duet!
I think this takes patience and should be enjoyed, which is our only goal. Sally has been wonderful and open to all communication and I appreciate that very much. Soon we’ll do a small neighborhood home concert. Other kids at school and our neighbors are very interested in our 25 minute sessions each week.

It has been a joy seeing my daughter move quickly through easy piano music to advanced in a very short period of time. She has grasped note reading and has been successful playing duets in perfect time. My daughter’s love for piano would not be if it weren’t for the highly skilled instructors. Sally knew just who would be the best fit for my daughter’s personality. She has had the same instructor since she started a year ago. Thank you Sally Piano Music!

My 4year old daugter naturally loves to play the piano. She had two other teachers before we met Sally and they were not able to help my daugter to keep her focused and have fun /​enjoy the piano lesson. With Sally, my daughter became excited every week to go to piano class and practices at home on her own. Sally has a way of inspiring my daughter to love playing the piano even more. My daughter is always excited for the recitals (they have 3 this year), which is very helpful to promote self confidence at young age. Sheri, another teacher with Sally, is now my daughter’s piano teacher that comes in our house. She is also very good and very patient. My daughter likes the fact that Sheri makes her create her own music and plays it on the next class. Bothe are highly recommended!

My son and have been students of Jimmy Hwang, one of the teachers of Sally Piano Music, for about one year, and we could not be happier. Jimmy is a great teacher, of enormous patience, and he knows how to motivate my son. He put a lot of effort in a preparation for an audition, to a great outcome. Even more important was my son’s progress leading up to that audition. Jimmy is also a very sweet person, which is a big reason why my son enjoys his lessons.

Sally has been teaching my son since 09/​2012, and one year later my daughter became her student as well. Sally has great patience working with kids. She was able to tailor my child’s needs based on their progress. My son had impressive improvement in the first year, then tends to steady learning. So is my daughter, she is making steady fast improvement and constantly challenged by Sally. Sally was encouraging but not pushy. She often gives her compliments to my children. Both of my kids love her!

While many piano instructors teach children, I had difficulty finding someone willing to have me (an adult) as a student. I tried two different teachers before finally hearing about Sally. Her lessons focus on the basics (like scales and lessons from technique books), as well as full songs. She breaks the songs into manageable portions, so I am never overwhelmed and notice my progress from week to week. Her approach works. As long as I practice, I get better. I highly recommend Sally to anyone, at any age, who needs a piano teacher.
