Dr. Woerpel, the staff and the office are awesome!!! Dr. Woerpel is very knowledgeable with his field. He is friendly, very thorough, takes time in each appointment, always follows up with any concerns, listens and answers all questions, very professional, and fun to talk to.
We highly recommend Dr. Woerpel.

We started seeing Dr. Woerpel 15 months ago, when my daughter was born. Initially, I had somewhat blindly chosen another pediatrician at Scripps, but when Dr. Woerpel came to do the 1-​day check up on my daughter in the hospital, we liked him so much we immediately switched over to him.
What I love most about Dr. Woerpel is how matter of fact he is. I can see how others might interpret that as being harsh or unsympathetic, but I really appreciate it. There is so much conflicting advice out there (to immunize, or not to immunize, to worry about a late walker or not, to give peanut butter at 6mo or wait until a year). I love that Dr. Woerpel gives me straight forward, confident answers. He tells me what things I should be concerned about, and what things are overreactions.
He is extremely thorough at every appointment, making sure I understand where my daughter is at, what’s coming up in the next few months, and what I should be looking out for. He is quick to give referrals to specialists when there is something even remotely off. I appreciate this «better safe than sorry» approach.
I have full confidence in Dr. Woerpel and would highly recommend him to anyone.
