Robert Gandola, DDS

I’m writing this review of Dr. Gandola after taking a long hiatus from Unilocal for the sole reason that I just had an appointment with him and told him he should check out his reviews, which he’s never seen. That, and I think all of you should know what an amazing dentist Dr. Gandola is.
I’ve been going to Dr. G for years and years, as have my parents, and he’s always the same: funny, reassuring, kind (he walked me out just to make sure I got to my car safely) and full of useful information about my teeth (and a lot of silly jokes).
Dr. G would never push anything like teeth whitening or veneers on you, although he does it all and does it well. He’s the sweetest man and best dentist you’ll ever meet in San Diego, so don’t screw around with Groupons and what-​not and go to someone really good. Oh, and his office staff is great (Irene is so sweet), too.

While living in San Diego between 2000 – 2006, my wife and I went to Dr. Gondola for a dental work. His staff was top notch. His dental assistant had a great sense of gentleness, but was very thorough during the exams and cleaning. Dr. Gondala was just as great at his professionalism, his technique and thoroughness. He did what was necessary for the job, no more, no less. He would give his advice about the condition of the teeth and what could show up down the road. He kept a close eye on potential issues and updated you every visit. He was very personable and very skilled. I highly recommend Dr. Gondola as a great dentist.

Great doctor. Very pleasant atmosphere. All staff members very polite. Have awesome sense of humor. Make you relax before the procedure. I went there for my teeth cleaning. And let me tell you this. Best cleaning I ever had in my entire life. Dr Robert actually took his time cleaning, not like some other dentists that brush your teeth with soapy paste and tell you see you I. 6 months. I would totally recommend him to anyone. ¹⁰⁄₁₀. Best doctor !!!
