Rimel’s Rooftop Grill

It’s awesome that Rimel’s Rotisserie has an awesome rooftop grill, perfect to get healthy and tasty options at Petco Park. The staff is really friendly, and our rotisserie chicken and wok bowls were fresh and delicious as they are at Rimel’s in La Jolla and Cardiff. Also, $ 16 for a ½ rotisserie chicken with rice and beans is a steal of a deal considering it’s ballpark pricing!

Had an opportunity to eat here during lunch at a private event and it was horrible.
I don’t know what package deal this catering event was but it was not a good deal at all. I think the whoever hosted the party got ripped off. This package meal includes: hot dogs, hamburger, rotisserie chicken, roasted vegetables and steamed rice.
I’ve never seen /​tasted such dry rotisserie chicken and supposedly they are known for that item. The hot dogs were the safest, just regular hot dogs but the buns, wow. it was SO dry and hard. I felt like I was eating not only a day old bread, but DAYS old (note: plural «days»).
the patty for the burger didn’t look very appetizing, and I over heard a little boy complaining to his mom. I mean you know it’s bad when an 8 year old boy tells his mom «the burger here is not very good» i just LOL when I heard it.
the roasted veggies, was just a joke… most of the veggies were brown.
and no desserts at a catering event? c’mon at least have cookies or brownies. Not even potato chips. All they offered were peanuts.
I felt bad for those who are vegetarians. There’s no food for vegetarians at the party. They should provide a vegetarian option so everyone can enjoy a meal.
I don’t know what Rimel’s have to offer but overall catering business is just not their thing. Even I can do better than that.
