All I can say is Zulu is the nicest man on the face of the earth. I’ve had contact with this gentleman since I started doing work on the house next door. Mind you, I have never made a purchase from his store. He found it within his huge heart to help me get my car running. He even closed his store to help me. Special people don’t come along very often. I love this man and I would do anything, thats anything at all for him. Zulu is the real deal and not a nicer man anywhere. Buy, buy, buy at Reggae world. Bless you a million times over.

Big Thanks to #Zulu, owner of Reggae World, for getting me great deals on #BodyOils. I am set for the whole summer(and more Cali summers when I visit). For incense, oils, natural cosmetics, and reggae music go to Reggae World on 2540 University Ave in San Diego, Ca and support your small business. My choice for the summer for men: #coolrain #coconut & #jasmine. FYI: The bad reviews on Unilocal were not of him but his previous employee. They were written 4yrs back and today he provides excellent customer service to all San Diegans and visitors alike –Prince’s Daily Journal

Blessings! Reggae world is great. They do special orders for things I need if they do not have it. When it comes to music they have a wealth of knowledge. They know their reggae history. Often they have tickets to local music shows and festivals. Great local business to support!

Way cool little hole in the wall to score some reggae vinyl or CDs. They even have a good selection of reggae DVD live performances. The dude who works in there really knows what’s up, if you tell him what kind of reggae you’re into he’ll definitely point you in the right direction. Vinyl selection could be a little bigger but I still scored a few gems. Dig this place.

i dont have a whole lot to say about this place other than it provided exactly what i was looking for(dried bundle of sage) and the staff member was super friendly and welcoming. i nearly convinced him to move up to portland after I spoke so highly of the city and my upcoming trip ;) just a nice fella and very down to earth. $ 5 bundle of sage… my home is now cleared of bad energy. thanks reggae world!

I always passed this place when I went to high school & was always curious in what was inside. My sophomore year I finally dropped by & while I was looking around the Guy behind the counter was creepy. Anyways, I was on my way out & that Guy was literally against me asking me for my name. Ummmm… I’m obviously way too young for you to «know» my name. After that I never even wanted to go back.

This place hasca few good records but the service kinda sucks. Id roll in here from time to time w/my friends and we’d get the cold shoulder from the staff there. We’d find albums after searching high and low but not too many our style. Prices are fare

I’ve been coming to this place for several years to mostly stock up on my favorite incense, ethnic knick knacks, and camaraderie with the co-owner behind the counter. However for the past year or so, I’ve become more turned off by this place because this young cat who’s been behind the counter as of late has TERRIBLE customer service. He has never acknowledged me when I entered the store, doesn’t speak unless you speak to him first and rarely does he look up from whatever he’s doing(reading) to see if you need any assistance. Twice on different occassions I’ve taken a friend with me to this store to purchase incense and they noticed the same thing. This has got to change. Any business that doesn’t acknowledge me as a customer, Black owned or not, doesn’t deserve my money. Word is Bond.

Love this joint for all my reggae needs! Too bad I don’t have many… =(Still this place is a really cool shop and you can find some pretty unique gifts here. Gotta love small independent shops like this!

Tiny unassuming place with a big heart. Come yah bald-heads…and buy de reggae tings. And, while you’re at the register, don’t forget to pick up a handful of flyers for local reggae performances… there be nothing better than dancing to the Marleys.

Nice gift shop. There’s a lot of variety here, the prices are good, no problem parking. The incense and candles smell more expensive than they are, and I get compliments every time I wear a bracelet I got there too. Lots of accessories and decorations, right up my alley. Glad I stopped by and will be back.

I liked this small store. It has a variety of items including sweatshirts, hoodies, etc with Bob Marley and the like and some«traditional» dresses and shirts. They also carry stickers, glass pipes, incense, sage(that i wish we had purchased to eliminate the bad spirits from our house — oh wait, those are teenagers), and jewelry. My daughter found a pretty nice steering wheel cover that was reasonably priced around $ 15. I definetely think this small store should be visited.
