This was my worst experience at a red robin in my life. Trust me I love eating there but I will never return to this one. Food was sloppy, our waitress was all over the place. Service was slow. I do not recommend anyone eating here.

4.5 stars because although I love this red robin because of their good food, great service, and the fact that its cool that you can pay, alert the waiters and view the menu on an iPad, the prices are a bit high. Maybe its because they’re definitely technologically forward with the iPad system. Either way, if I feel like I can allow myself to be treated a bit, red robin is a good place to go! I love that their menu has a HUGE variety of different things for people with all sorts of preferences from burgers to salads to sandwiches to plates, etc! There’s always something for someone, and it caters to my indecisive and constantly mood-changing needs. Their burgers are BOMB and the best part is that it comes with bottomless fries that are delicious with their cajun salted seasoning and campfire sauce, yum! The salads are also delicious when I’m feeling on the healthier side; the southwest salad is my favorite cause it comes with chicken breast and hearty avocados! Another definite is their speckled lemonade(strawberry lemonade) that is bottomless too(yasss) and has real chunks of strawberry inside– get this if you’re feeling like you need some thirst-quenching!

This is the best red robin in the San Diego area. The lines aren’t ridiculous like the escondido one and the food is edible unlike the one in Bonita. The food is pretty darn good, and they haven’t messed up orders like they do consistently in Bonita. I like to sit in the patio here and people watch the crowd coming in and out of the mall.

How can you say«no» to bottomless fries??? The fries servings have significantly decreased over the years, but since it is bottomless, it doesn’t really matter! They now have i-pad at the table, so the personal encounter/service is limited to during ordering food/drinks and when they bring you the food! Sometimes it takes a little longer to flag your server down. I think if they have that button or function on their app to ask for a server, it will be better!(Just like Stacked)

Went to Red Robin after a funeral. Had a party of 20. Our waitress Cierra was incredible! Took care of everyone at the table. She was on top of it. Food was great. But if you get Cierra as your waitress you will be well taken care of. Cierra your waitress game is STRONG! Thank you so much for taking care of us.

I’d been to Red Robin a couple times in the past and all of my experiences have been pretty much the same. I think this is a great place for a casual outing with friends, but it’s not the best in terms of either food or service. Obviously, this place is kind of «known» for its burgers, and not being the biggest burger fan, I’m not particularly impressed with the menu or the food. The last time I was here I ordered a chicken burger(no buns, just lettuce) and it was at best average. Also, even though the service was friendly, it was on the slow side and after we got the food we didn’t see our waitress at all. We had even pushed the call button on the tablets provided at each table and no one ever came. I will say that the tablet idea is pretty cool — we could each pay individually, although because there was only one tablet per table(in our case, a group of 8), it took way too long. Overall, I’d say this is an OK place for a casual meal. Would I come here by choice? Probably not. The food is average and the service can be a hit or miss…

My «Smoke & Pepper Burger“at Red Robin was $ 13.99 plus $ 1 for the gluten free bun. While I appreciate the gluten free options, the burger was overpriced and disappointing, and didn’t include all of the toppings mentioned in the description. My burger was very dry and tasteless, and I couldn’t even taste the thin layer of cheese. There wasn’t enough homemade ketchup, and since the burger was so dry, I requested more ketchup. The bacon strips were dry and tasteless. The toppings were scarce… no lettuce, no tomato, no pickles… The beef wasn’t anything special… for $ 13.99 I would prefer grass bed beef. They were stingy with the fries. I had the gluten free fries, which are fried in a separate oil, and I do appreciate this gluten free option, but there weren’t enough fries. My daughter had the regular fries, and she had a very small portion as well. My Thorny Señorita Margarita was decent for $ 7.99. My daughter had the Black and Bleu Burger, and she said it was just ok. I have consistently been DISAPPOINTED with Red Robin. The only reason I ever eat at Red Robin is their location in the Westfield UTC mall, and the fact that they have a screen on the table for your kids or grandkids to play games for $ 1.99. If you’re in the mall with a kid, and you need a break in a comfty booth, head to Red Robin, but don’t expect good food.)-; The servers do try to keep up with things. They are friendly. However, my daughter sent back her freckled lemonade which was $ 4.49 because it was way too sweet. She asked to substitute an iced tea instead. When the bill came, they charged us for both the lemonade and the iced tea… that’s $ 4.49 plus $ 2.79…almost $ 10 just for 1 drink! I didn’t have time to argue about the bill because my granddaughter was restless, and my daughter had to get home to her baby at home.

Red robin, yummmmmm, or ummmmm? I stopped by this location on a Friday night. It was sorta busy I guess? The whole middle section was empty when we were seated, but it filled up after a while. Our server was kinda peppy yet sassy at the same time. I don’t know, she kinda annoyed me, or maybe it was because I was so hungry. But yeah, I got a burger and added avocado. I forgot the actual name of the burger, but it had an over easy egg! Score! The burger came out and it was huge, but tasteless. I couldn’t even bite it so I had to slice it with a knife and eat it with a fork :(I wouldn’t mind eating it like this if it actually tasted good… But it didn’t. Before our food came out, and boy did we wait a while, we were teased with this tablet sitting on the table. It had trivia games you could play with other customers as you waited for your food. It’s a bit tricky if you’re not paying attention because at the end when you get your check, they charge you $ 1.99! I really didn’t pay attention to the opening message as it made it seem like the games were complimentary. It was my fault though, I was just too hungry and delirious to notice it came with a price. I wasn’t really happy about that charge on top of a mediocre burger.

It is amazing to see that there are super duper friendly servers around. Jac, our sweetest girl of a server did an amazing job. Her reccomendation for their speciality chicken sandwich was amazing with it’s special twist bun. — Friendliness: CHECK — Efficiency of service: CHECK(fast!) — Food: CHECK

thanks to the great red robin customer service team, I was given a gift card after a bad experience which lured me back into this particular location. there was a wait for a table, but a few available seats at the Bartop which we opted for. started with waters; I know this is an odd thing to mention but I love the huge glasses they provide for water since I drink so much of it. for cocktails we tried the gingerbread jack; soda water, gingerbread syrup and jack Daniels with a caramel rim. it was sweet but still had the pungent kick of whiskey which we really liked. I tried their prickly pear margarita(forget the menu name) which I really liked as well. girly and refreshing! I enjoyed the black and blue burger and my husband wolfed down the smokey pepper burger. I had onion rings as my side in substation for fries. the menu convinced me that the substitutes were also bottomless but the bartender informed me that I was wrong… only the fries are bottomless!

This is your typical Red Robin which I’m a fan of as they have my favorite burger: Royal Robin Burger [Fried Egg * American Cheese * Crisp Lettuce * Applewood-Smoked Bacon * Tomato * Mayo]. The Royal Robin Burger is addicting with all the flavors in the mix making it scrumptious. Their seasoning is perfect for sprinkling over the fries, and the fries here are bottomless. fry lovers delight! I came by last night and was helped by Lugo at the bar. He was super friendly and helpful which was a plus. For drinks I had some beer: blue moon on draft in the 22oz. They have those touch screen kiosks for«calling your server» at the touch of a button it flashes, and you can also use it to pay at your table. Come here for your burger fix and great service inside UTC mall! =]

The service was outstanding but our burgers were over cooked. This seems to be a trend with red robin, they don’t like to serve pink burgers. We told the server and both her and manager were more than willing to make it right, but by the time it was addressed we had already eaten most of our food, so we were fine. I really love this place and the only reason it is not getting five stars is because they over cooked our burgers. Go here and leave full with their unlimited fries!

Red Robin has changed a lot since the last time I was here. They have tablets at your table that you pay at and can view the menu at all times. It’s a nice feature but takes away some of the reason I’m out to eat, gives the fast food vibe more than anything now. Not a fan of that. The menu has changed along with portion size. I love the smaller portion size but they did raise the prices. Our server was great though, always checking back to see how we liked things. And the food was good. Overall a nice experience but the fast food vibe has to go. They don’t serve food on plates, just trays now! Why?! I recommend coming by here if you’re in the mood for a McDonald’s type of meal, if not try and different restaurant at the mall.

Red Robin has been a fan favorite at UTC for many years. Burgers and Bottomless streak fries, pretty simple and pretty good. Now it seems to be a lot more complicated. It takes a while to read through the menu to find the semi-reasonably priced burgers. They have so many burgers that were $ 15 bucks! Ouch… You can get that Eureka! Burger next door. Today I ordered a standard burgers with no bun(i.e. lettuce wrapped) Well I can say you wont get gypped on lettuce. Trying to find the actual burger through all the lettuce was like trying to find a cheap plastic toy in the bottom of a Cocoa Pebbles cereal box. I also chose a side salad instead of fries. Red Robin is what it is. Loud and casual. burgers and streak fries… — What’s really cool was the table side payment machine. It was very easy to split /and pay for my portion of the check. Love that.

For a minute there I thought Red Robin’s were fading out. But I really hope not! I love Red Robin! I do always associate them with being in a mall though. I had been craving Red Robin for weeks! But haven’t had the chance to go until this past weekend. Location: in the UTC Westfield Mall next to Macy’s across from Veggie Grill. There’s a small lot next to Red Robin We ordered: — Southern Charm burger(on a ciabatta bun, with bacon, and BBQ sauce) — Garlic fries and regular fries Red Robin steak fries are hands down my most favorite fries ever! Especially the garlic ones. Plus their honey mustard/honey poppy seed dressing. The Southern Charm was ok, I usally order the Banzai burger but wanted to try something different. I will have to order that next time. Love love Red Robin!

Red Robin is a chain restaurant so if you’ve been to one you’ve been to all. It was actually really busy when we got there but service was very quick. We were estimated at a 15 min wait and seated in 5. They have these iPad/automated screens at the tables to place orders, play games, and pay. You still have a waitress but if they get busy, that comes in super handy. The spinach artichoke dip was really good but I wish we had more chips. We shared a burger. Don’t remember the name but it was good. Wasn’t totally soggy and falling apart which tells me it wasn’t sitting too long before they brought it out. It was a tiny bit of fries but they have bottomless fries so keep on ordering more at no extra charge. The cookies milkshake was delicious, as always. A little pricey tho. They had the choice of just the milkshake or the milkshake with the extras on the side for a little more $$. It wasn’t too thick or filling so it went well with the meal. Service was great. Props to Chris, the host for all his help. Really nice guy.

I don’t normally go to Red Robins as my first choice of burgers. However, I had friends visiting from Korea that had heard all the raves about it being the best burgers in America. So I decided to give it a 2nd chance. I LOVE hot and SPICY food so I was excited when I saw there was Fiery Ghost burger(ghost pepper burger) in the menu. I asked the waitress if she said it was too spicy and she recommended that it might be TOO hot and recommend the Burning Love burger(spicy burger with jalepenos). I ended wanting to try the fiery ghost anyway to see if it was really that hot or not. Call me crazy for wanting the hot stuff, but if I ask for a fiery ghost pepper burger im literally hoping that I will be crying my eyes out or drinking lots of water after. To my disappointment, it was NOT even spicy at all. As for the bottomless fries, its not that bottomless. You only get a tiny bit at a time and im sure the waitress must’ve been annoyed when we kept asking for more. Oh and it took about 3xs to ask the waitress to bring our alcohol to the table. I dont know? It didnt seem like a busy night? The only thing I recommend: 21+ the can crafted cocktails. Its actually something ive never tried and I really liked it. Try the blue moon can cocktail.

I feel like something has changed. While we haven’t been here in a year and there was a point when we were here like once a month. This time I was not impressed! Our service was great but the burger was not. I had the banzai burger and the pineapple tasted like it came out of a can in syrup, very sugary. There really wasn’t any teriyaki sauce which was not cool because the little that was there tasted awesome! There was tons of mayo and too much lettuce. I ate about a quarter of the burger and was done. Could have been better!

We visited last year so this post a bit outdated — sorry I hadn’t been back to this location in years so it was fun to see this Red Robin again — and marveling at the iPad on each table, at the bar, to order food. Service was fun and there were lots of flat screen tv’s playing sports in the background. It wasn’t terribly busy that Saturday afternoon when we stopped by for a quick lunch. We ordered: Strawberry smoothie: — it was a nice sized portion served frothy in a goblet. Not sure if they use fresh fruit for their smoothies but friend didn’t seem to care RED’S TAVERNDOUBLE(I think): — the burger wasn’t too bad. I mean, it wasn’t In N Out and it wasn’t as cheap as In N Out, but the double patty burger tasted nice. We liked the crispy sweet potato fries as well Gourmet burger with braised something(I seriously don’t remember): This was the special at the time and I kinda remember a braised meat being added on top of the burger. There was some sort of bbq sauce that I asked to be on the side. The hamburger was prepared a bit more well done that I had hoped but the burger overall was alright. The fried onion rings, about 6 medium sized ones, were nicely fried and tasted pretty good dipped in ranch I don’t know why I don’t come here more often. Their standard burgers aren’t too expensive(for a restaurant type of place) and it’s a decent atmosphere. Eureka is literally just a few doors down(you can read my review here ). Eureka has gourmet burgers that are pricier and fancier items on their menu. Red Robin is more laid back with a no-frills kinda menu. I think I’d return if we were in the mood for burgers. Maybe they have a happy hour menu too.
