Came to Rallys for some late night munchies and when paying for the food, they asked my boyfriend and I to drive around because the chicken sandwich we had ordered was going to take 6mins. No biggie, we thought. So we pulled to the side and waited patiently… About 25mins of waiting, and not another soul in the drive-thru, we finally got our food because my boyfriend went to the window asking about it. Even though we had to wait, they compensated us for our waiting time with apple pies. Which was super cool and super delicious! The burger was better than the chicken sandwich. The banana shake was on point. And the fries are seasoned and crispy.

Terrible. Just terrible. Actually, can’t even comment on the food because we left without getting ours. Demanded a refund after over 20 minutes of waiting. It took an additional 5 minutes for the gal to actually refund our money. They call this fast food? With a name like Rally’s you’d expect some sort of speedy service… We won’t be back.

I recently moved to the area and found that I live close to a rallys. I grew up eating Rally burger so it is somewhat of a comfort food to me. I haven’t been to a Rallys in some years so upon my return I was interested to find out they have new menu items. The first one which I found to be one of my favorites is a fry burger where they put their famous fries on a burger. The next one is a spicy chicken sandwich it’s aight. I think the reason I give them 4 stars and not 5 is because they charge $ 0.50 for a sauce, kinda out of control, and the reason i give 4 stars and not 3 is because its super processed food and it takes like 30 seconds for a to go Burger so that’s bad food for me, thats not their fault it’s the system. But I love the system because the Burgers they make and will return to Rallys soon. Thanks amigos

So I was eating a burger from Rally’s and bite into a piece of glass which cuts my tongue. I tried to bring it up to the manager but he just says there no possible way that could happen because they don’t have anything with glass near the food prep. I was just trying to let him know and he was just super rude and barely even spoke English. Wish I could give this place no stars.

Went here cause El Pollo Loco was still closed. I only have an hour lunch from 11 am to noon. Anyway, Rally’s was open next door. I was craving their fries. They have good seasoned fries. I got a fish sandwich. It was okay but the fish was over fried and seemed a little tough. The fries are good. Their burgers are descent. I’ve had a few from this location. It’s a chain and it’s fast food. I do like their apple pies. So crisp and warm. I think it’s still 2 for $ 1.00. Not to sure if that is the same price. They also sell milkshakes. Yum! They do have 2 drive thru lanes which makes the lines go a little faster. There is also parking spots right on the side of the business. There is a walk up window where you can order and sit out on the benches outside. It’s just okay for a burger joint and again, it’s fast food.

I’ve given this place so many chances… it’s not even funny. No matter what you say, ask for, no matter how nice you are, there WILL be something wrong with your order, guaranteed. Allan, the cashier is definitely the best they’ve got, as far as employees go. The rest, no comment. Pros: $ 2 for 3 deals $ 1 ice cream cone Chili dogs!!! Cons: Everything on the menu sucks, no matter how good it may appear visually on the menu. Honestly, McDonalds and Burger King are better. I don’t want it to be that way, but unfortunately… it is what it is.

Not too long ago, my wife and I had a craving for burgers. Neither one of us had eaten at Rally’s in a long time so I picked up a few burgers and orders of fries and headed home. We were both pretty disappointed with how they tasted. We were hoping for a charbroiled taste but they tasted like they were cooked in a microwave. The fries were just«ok» and nothing special. There are numerous other burger places around San Diego and I would highly recommend one of them rather than Rally’s.

Our order was wrong twice and the girl gave us total attitude treated us like we were one of her lil homegirls. What ever happened to the customer is always right. Im very dissapointed and dnt think ill eat here again. At least not in imperial beach. Work on ur customer service skills.

My first experience at Rally’s a couple years back, I remembered it to be really amazing. Now that I got the opportunity to try it again, the quality is quite comparable to jack in the box. Their famous seasoned fries is still good. Although some pieces seemed to be over fried. But flavor is still there. As for the burgers… it actually comes out looking very similar to the advertised photo, but it will definitely make you regret eating it afterwards. Each burger is extremely heavy. If you look carefully at the menu, it states that each burger is anywhere between 900‑1300 calories. Thats half of the calorie intake you should eat in a day! So be careful what you order! I also purchased a sweet tea drink and it was the sweetest tea I’ve ever drank. You can taste the overload of sugar. It had so much sugar, that it dried out my mouth everytime I took a sip. Sorry Rally’s. I won’t be coming back.

Rally’s disappoints. A co-worker swore to me that Rally’s compete’s with In N Out, Shack Shack and The Habit which was what lured me here to begin with. Clearly he has a healthy crack addition to feed; Rally’s isn’t on the same planet as The Habit, much less In N Out or Shake Shack. This Burger recommendation gets the WTF award for 2014 and an honorable mention for flavor wackness. I went with the«Cheese Champ» which consists of a single seasoned patty and Cheese along with the traditional Burger accouterments one would expect. The Cheese was not even melted and the Patty itself was lukewarm. The Lettuce, Onion and Tomato Slices were not very crisp either. In fact, the pickles were about the only topping that was remotely on point. This Burger sucked. The Cheese Chump. The Fries actually were Rally’s only salvation. Perfectly fried and seasoned, they are about the only reason I would ever return to a Rally’s and were good enough to keep Rally’s out of one star contention from this Unilocal reviewer. Rally’s. Come for the Fries and then get the hell out of there.

Avoid any place that doesn’t care about customer service like getting a large combo and you ask for the parmasian garlic fries and they charge you an extra dollar and you get half the fries but they have a dusting of garlic powder and parmesian cheese so you ask for a little dipping sauce and they tell you it will be 49 cents more… real mooch

Horrible experience. Manager and staff are not aware of what advertisements they have posted in front of their venue. Messed up my MONSTERELLA sticks order two days in a row but today, turned into a horrible experience. Communication skills were terrible. Staff need to be educated on their own products. Did not know the difference between regular mozarella sticks vs monsterella sticks. Customer service was below satisfactory. Did not show empathy or accomodation. Instead raised voice Engaged in argument And racially profiled my driver. I will see to it to report this to the franchise supervisor. I do not appreciate to have dealt with this type of stress before work. I ended up going to work hungry. I have no intentions on returning to this Rallys location again.

The food was small, undercooked and the drinks were so watered down. I wanted to give this place a chance although there was no seating inside but there are so many flies and birds waiting on tables and all around. Gross. Then the soda tasted like water and looked clear so I had to go back to ask them to change their soda syrup bag… couldn’t you tell when you were serving it?!! Then the sizes of the food were about 2 times smaller than places elsewhere and very sloppily made. I won’t be returning. My friend tried the desert because it’s highly advertised and that was the smallest amount of food I’ve ever seen for full price. She said it tasted okay.

I have not eaten at a Rally’s in years and decided to give it a try again. It is better than remembered but it is still fast food. I noticed they have chicken wings here. Will have to give them a try one of these days. I ordered the Big Buford which was pretty good. It was not lunch hour so it was built pretty good. Hate when a burger place is so busy everything is slapped together everything is all over the place. Staff was ok and there is plenty of parking.

They are ok with serving raw hamburger. We were all happy the food was fast(not so hot though) got home and I looked over and my husband’s hamburger was raw. And to top it off we were hungry! Not going back! Doesn’t deserve one star.

I stopped here to get a quick lunch before heading to work. I decided on their Medium Hot Buffalo Wings. I was completely surprised at how good they were. They used a traditional Buffalo sauce with just the right amount of heat on meaty crisp chicken wings. What a pleasant surprise. Their wings are better than some of the other wing joints around the area. The only drawback is that they cost $ 1 a wing.

The ONLY reason I am giving them 3-stars is because my son actually ate their chicken and liked it, and he is a picky eater. We’ve never eaten here before and saw the Chicken box for $ 3 and figured I’d try their burger. I got the #14 — I think it was just the regular Rally’s Burger Meal. The Cashier/Order taker was VERY nice and conversational during my «ordering» process. Customer service was great — from my experience. I am a picky eater to and I took one bite of the hamburger and immediately spit it out. It tasted as if miracle whip was used and I HATE miracle whip — nothing against Rally’s but made me sick to my stomach. The fries smelled like donuts and they are fried in a certain batter — my son who loves fries did not eat anymore past the first fry. Mind you we at there about 3 – 4 hours ago and I am still sick to my stomach. Sadly it might have actually been a good hamburger if I got it without mayo.

I was not feeling Rallys, it is by far better than Mc D’s and Carl’s but not better than Wendy’s. The prices for just the sandwich are good but other than that it does not seem to be very special, I prefer five guy’s and in and out but I guess it will do. Now I was very confused by the drive thru. I thought one was the exit but then i saw that there was two ordering places. so for about three minutes or so i was trying to get some ones attention but no one would take my order. a car pulled up on the other side and to my surprise they were talking to someone. ??? well I ended up pulling up behind them when another car took my place at the side and they got their order take. WOW!!! you guys need to work on that. The wait was a bit long. I would not have noticed if the woman taking the money wasn’t so huffy puffy. she was putting the pressure on with her sighs and fidgeting
