Presidio Place

I’m a new home owner and have lived here for about a year now. The complex though slightly dated is kept really clean and neat. We have several amenities which make living here a lot like living at a resort (pool, jacuzzi, racquetball, wallyball, tennis, huge open yard area, man-​made pond, shared community room). The tenants vary from the young USD student, of which we have many, to the older and quieter who have lived here for years. My investment in Presidio has been a quality one and I look forward to living here for many more years!

Nice place, its dated but built tough! Management does a decent job at keeping up with the place. Parking can be a nightmare if you don’t get home before 6pm. You get 2 passes one assigned space, and one guest. The guest fill up very quickly and are almost never available because a lot of tenants live out of state or (MX) and just leave there cars parked in guest spots for days, weeks, months, and probably a year in some cases. Security seems to have their hands tied in regards to actually enforcing the parking rules. I have never seen a car towed. I have seen cars so covered in dust, dirt, cob webs, tickets etc.
I would recommend living here if you are mature, quiet business professional.

The condo complex is probably older than me (I’m 26) but despite its age, it’s actually not a bad place to live!
I go to USD for law school and Presidio Place is literally right down the street from campus so I love how I can leave 10 minutes before class is suppose to start and still not be late.
Also, another huge plus is that the rooms are very spacious! I live in a 2 bedroom 2 bath (dual master) with my roommate and we have more than enough space! It is not like those new apt complexes where you have one huge master bedroom and then itty-​bitty bedrooms that are the size of your bathroom.
It might not have all the cool amenities as the newer places but that doesn’t bother me too much b/​c I usually never end up taking advantage of amenities. They do have a pool, a HUGE courtyard (great place to walk your dog or just let your dog run loose for some exercise), a sauna… and it’s a gated complex so you don’t have to worry about random strangers coming into the complex.
Rent is reasonable, you are close to the beach, Sea World, fashion valley mall, downtown, etc… great central spot to live at!
