I’ve ordered from here a few times, but I feel like I continue to come here because it’s conveniently next to where I work. The extremely bold statement on their website of being the«World Leading expert on phở» is too bold I feel in comparison to the flavors I get from their phở. There is something about the flavor of the broth itself that tastes a bit… off. It’s very hard to explain, but you start noticing subtle differences in the flavors if you go here and then go to other phở shops. Give it a try. Typically their service is pretty good, even during the lunch rush. I can only think of one time when I wasn’t very pleased with their service, but it was during a rush and it took longer than usual for my food to come out. Cheers.

If there is one thing I know in Vietnamese, it is the food! The staff here is awesome… pretty sure they know my coworkers and I by heart now. I used to come here once or twice a week due to work. Now that I work in Mission Valley, I still haven’t found a place as great as UTC… :( The chicken wings are so good! Garlicy– oniony, perfectly crispy. Phở is perfect on chilly or rainy days House special combo is a Vietnamese rice dish with pork, shrimp, chicken, and soup! My favorite lunch dish here Eggrolls and spring rolls… nom nom nom nom FYI Parking gets tight in this shopping center on weekdays between 12 – 1:30 ish

I have always ordered to-go at this spot. I have yet to eat inside. It’s spacious. But it’s a convenient pick up meal for the days I’m hungry after a work out and heading home. I always order their shrimp and pork spring rolls. It’s a quick bite. Comes with 2 spring rolls and peanut sauce. It’s a thick roll. Their flank steak and brisket small phở is great too. I ordered this to go the other night and their broth is flavorful. The small is enough for me. I was stuffed. I’ve had the pad thai to go previously. It’s not the best pad thai I ever had, but did the job. It didn’t have as much flavor as I usually like, but it lasted me about 2 meals.

My friend and I came here on a Friday night and it was not that busy. We ordered the special phở, fried rice, and fried shrimp. The phở was alright, you could get better tasting phở down south or in Mira Mesa. The fried rice and shrimp were decent. I gave this place 3 stars, because thats really their level and quality of food. It’s a OK phở spot for people living in UTC/La Jolla and do not want to drive far.
