Delivery: Took about an hour, not bad at all. They don’t use styrofoam togo boxes. The phở was amazingly packaged, everything but the broth was in a good size microwaveable bowl, but the soup came hot so I didn’t need to test out the microwaveable part. The beef combo phở was perfect! I would definitely have it again! Pork and shrimp spring rolls were really good as well.

I’ve been to this restaurant before a few years back when I visited San Diego, and here I am again! I could be wrong but I think the restaurant has improved and a little upgraded? We came around 9:25 and saw people in there already(they open at 9:30). I got the Bun Bo Hue as my family got Phở Dac Biet and a rice dish. The phở had very great flavoring and the bun bo hue was fantastic. Prices are fair. Would go here again whenever I’m in San Diego!

I love this place and I come here all the time. I’m so bummed because my 2 friends and I just got take out and came home to eat only to find small bugs in ALL3 of our phở soups!!! Not just one– MANY!!! I’m worried so we are calling and telling them to stop serving for the day. BUMMER

I am in love with this place! The service is SO fast it’s crazy! I come here with my mom and boyfriend so often they already know what we order! There’s always a table for us and it’s always an awesome time. We sometimes stay there for way longer than we should just because it’s so comfy and the environment is so welcoming. I love it!

Big portions of phở, very generous with meat and excellent price. The food came out hot and fast and everyone was super polite. I am one full happy camper! :)

The tripe was weird, didnt have the usual snap other restaurants have. Noodles & broth were fine. Spring roll leaves were to too soft and no «crunch. Peanut ause was too oily. Id go back if i was really craving phở and it was the only one near by but i think they couod do better. Maybe its just my preference.

Came here for lunch today and unfortunately, they lost another star. First off, don’t expect good customer service. This place is loud and noisy and the atmosphere feels like a rush order and eat. Ordered the phở again and chicken fried rice. The phở was super greasy. The broth is not a nice clean broth. There’s a lot of grease to it and that’s not how I like my phở. For the price of a small bowl, you can get a bigger bowl with better broth somewhere else. Also, I don’t know why it’s always served with lemon wedges. That’s not authentic. Don’t even get me started on the fried rice. Very bland and no flavor. Portions may be huge but with no flavor, I would rather get a small portion with lots of flavor. How can you go wrong on fried rice?! Shame… a sad shame. Overall, even though the food came quick(guess that goes with the quick rushed order and eating), we won’t be back. I would rather drive to the Phở Shop even though it’s a bit farther from me. But hey, this is my opinion. If you like it here then eat her.

These guys are always hustling and always my choice for lunch since I work at the airport. The only place around that is very clean and has a sense of tradition. I’ve been here countless times, they know what I like and everything is organized.

Clean, friendly & attentive service. Employees are watching the door and always ready to seat you when you walk in. We ordered, went to the bathroom, came back, and our food came literally about 1 min after we came back. You know how fast guys can go to the bathroom too, so you know that is REALLY fast service. I’m pretty sure it’s the fastest service I’ve ever had at the phở restaurant. I recommend this place

I used to go there 3 – 4 times a weeks, but last time I was very disappointed because I asked for jasmine rice with my BBQ pork instead broken rice. I knew, I have to paid $ 2 for the rice, so I’m willing to pay for it but one of their servers asked me, «why you don’t like broken rice?» I replied, because broken rice is to dry and I like jasmine rice better. He replied, «rice is a rice you shouldn’t be picky.» Wow, this was not about picky but it’s about what I paid for and I think they should learn about customer service. I never complained and there are many times that I asked for extra meat on my phở, they did not put an extra but they charged me $ 2.50 each time. So, I never go back there again and I feel better and healthier because I didn’t intake the MSG!

My daughter and I were in the area and heard great things about this place. Ordered simple rare steak phở. It tasted like dirty water. No flavor. Blah. We told the server and we walked out. Such a disappointment. We like flavor. If you do to, skip this place.

At last! I came in and tried this place! It was a Friday afternoon and I was pretty darn hungry between fitness classes I teach and my own workout session. I need a good dose of clean food and tasty food! I found it here for sure! Mind you I had not had any Phở anywhere in like 3 – 4 months till now. About 345pm I came in and found the place not too busy, only a few other groups present. I was set on going with Phở of course so I did. I got the large tofu and veggie phở with an added side of steamed veggies as well as a two roll order of fresh shrimp spring rolls. My meal came out within 10 minutes or so pipping hot. Not being a vegetarian I still must say I was impressed with the Phở choice I made. Portion was more then enough, spring rolls were some of the best I have had as well. The price for the whole meal… under $ 16 with tax! A steal for what I got and how much I got! Service was fast and friendly, food was awesome, price is right. I will be back here many times now that I know what they have it store for we Phở lovers!

The food here was so good and the service was even better. I loved the homemade taste. The people who work here are always very nice and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The offer excellent specials and the portions are pretty big. The beef phở is awesome and so full of flavor. I love this place and will keep coming back every chance I get. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I am a HUGE Vietnamese food fan, and this place did not disappoint! My gf wanted to eat somewhere healthy/cheap and chose this spot. We ordered the chicken/shrimp salad and chicken broken rice dish and some extra fish sauce, of course. Vietnamese salads come with so many fresh herbs and greens, with some fried shallots, so it was definitely packed with flavor. The grilled chicken dish was so tasty(I think there was some lemongrass flavor) and moist. Both dishes were solid and I can’t wait to come back again!

Came here for lunch with a group of friends. Food wise, Phở broth is on point. Everyone in our table enjoyed their food. I personally ordered the CT3 which was the rice with beef dish which was also very delicious. The atmosphere is nice, its obvious that a lot of people are returning customers and thats probably because of their timely service and good food options. The only thing that makes the place not 5 stars to me is because of my experience with billing. Prices are at a great price and are affordable and they were also very willing to accommodate our bill by separating all our orders individually to make the payments easier on my group. However, a few friends got the .50 charge on their bill because they chose to pay card and their order was below the $ 10 threshold. The issue wasn’t the charge amount, but that no one had let us know that there would be .50 cents charged to the cards until after it was charged. I think they could at least give some type of verbal notification before taking the card, which knocked off a star for me for my first experience. Would I come back? Yeah if i’m ever in the area and craving some phở. Phở-sure I will. Just be wary to bring at least 10 bucks in cash if you intend on purchasing less than that. Also they also charge tip already to the bill if your group is a large one, we were a group of 7.

Make sure you order at least $ 10 because they charged me $ 0.50 for using my credit card without telling me first. Phở Point Loma is a pretty large Vietnamese restaurant serving your typical Vietnamese fare. I like the fact that it is kept relatively clean. I believe they give a military discount for active duty personnel. My Phở bowl was decent, although it did take time a long time to bring the check. The interesting thing about this place are the large television screens that were displaying a soccer game at the time I was there. I noticed that they sell several varieties of beer which pairs well with a game on TV.

So phở place was really yummy, it is on Midway, we told the waiter we were on a 40 min lunch break fr school and if we could get our food right away, we all ordered phở and within 5 min we had our food and paid with in 20 min to make it back to school on time, the service was great and the food was good too, I had the chicken phở and my fellow student had rare beef with a side of rice. Thanks again for your service.

Really wanted to like this place more, I mean come on. they have beer on tap! We had the summer rolls(goi cuon) and phở. The rolls were good — the wrapper was soft and not chewy, the shrimp and pork inside was cooked well, and peanut sauce was good in flavor and consistency. The phở was where we were disappointed, mostly because the broth was bland. And the mediocre noodles and meat didn’t help the situation. On the fence about going back to maybe try a different dish.

Phở is good, service is good. They don’t bother you unless you call out to them when you need something but they accommodate to your requests quickly. Their egg rolls(cha gio) are good. Comes in either 3 or 6 rolls, relatively small but I enjoyed it. Asked for extra lettuce to eat with it cause it’s refreshing to eat with a fried appetizer.

Cheapest Sculpin in town! Even cheaper than the brewery itself! It was $ 2.99 for a 12 ounce, usually places charge you $ 6.50−8 for that. If you don’t like phở come for the Sculpins… I was listening and I heard every table ordered at least one Sculpin… I don’t know if they recently got sculpin but I bet you this price will not last long as they will figure out they can charge double the price and make a profit… Hopefully not anytime soon because you bet I’ll be back for some Sculpins! The phở was good as well. Good for the price too, I think a small was $ 5 something closer to $ 6. It’s pretty flavorful and plentiful. One thing I judge is the stickiness of the noodles, and the noodles here didn’t clump or stick on to each other and was able to easy detach on he broth. I ordered the beef and tripe, it was good for the«cold» Memorial Day weekend in SD this year. Service was friendly and jovial. The guy reminded me of like my guy friends. It was a nice change to the other OG phở places with an old viet OG who has broken English and doesn’t make jokes at you. The place is big and plenty of parking. I’m sure rent is dirt cheap in this area as there were many sex shops and strip clubs around. Get some phở then go watch some naked chicks, or at least drink up on the sculpin. If they keep their sculpin price this low they should just change their name to Phở Sculpin! They already have a fish tank too!
