I’ve never been in an establishment where the staff has had bigger egos than here. I’ve been here roughly a dozen times and have never once been treated well by the ID checkers or «bouncers.» These guys abuse their «power» and many of them need to be trained better or let go by the management for how poorly they treat their customers.
I wasn’t going to write this review after my many sub par experiences, but after last Saturday when I noticed my bank statement from here was at least $ 10 higher than it should have been (FOR THE SECOND TIME), I knew that the bartenders were writing in tips much higher than what they received. I’m pretty certain I’ve never paid $ 25 for a drink in my life and I highly doubt they sell $ 25 drinks at this bar.
It’s a shame a place with so much potential and in a great location is managed so poorly.

If you’ve never had a Red Bull Vodka Slushy and you live in San Diego, you are definitely missing out. Goldfish racing on Wednesdays is as you can win a chance to cover your bar tab for you weekday alcoholics.
The best spot in San Diego for Navy football games and Naval Academy alumni. Have fun, get wasted!

I love this place, love the vibe and the music. Best of all, it’s right on the beach. My brothers were both in town and I wanted to show them around. We walked in on a Sunday night, the place was pretty busy with a good crowd. I ordered 3 draft beers, shock tops– not the beer I usually drink but whatever– the tab came and the beers were $ 10. They are 20 ounce pours so I guess that helps, but still feels a bit overpriced. I give everything in this place a 5, but the prices still feel a bit out of touch, even with the surrounding bars.

The vibe in here is good. It seems like an older place that has been renovated. There are surfboards on the ceiling and beachy decorations everywhere. The people that come to this place are a good mix of old and young, business professionals and surfers. And everyone gets along.
So why the 2 star rating? $ 10 beers. I’ve never been to a place, either in Miami or New York that prices their domestic basic beers for that much. They claimed its Bc the minimum wage is going up and they had to make up for it. Appealing. We spent $ 100 on 3 rounds of domestic beers that should have cost $ 35 at most. I feel ripped off to say the least. They are taking advantage of people. Stay away until they learn from this mistake
Edit: Management informed that the $ 10 beers are 20 ounce pours. More understandable. Still no beer should ever be $ 10. Upgraded from a 2 star to a 4 star rating. Thanks for reaching out management.

Honestly, best place I’ve been to in San Diego with excellent customer service… I was greeted promptly as I got to the door… I asked a dumb question cuz he asked for an ID? But they have a smart method to check at door so they know who’s underage! Smart! I got the tropical alcohol drink with Bacardi because I asked waitress and her opinion was on point! They give a good amount of alcohol in one drink cuz I couldn’t finish and I was already buzzed! Got the fish n chips they look small but were huge lol I couldn’t finish! I’m coming back! Awesome service! Love to come to places where people know what they are doing

I mean who doesn’t love Shoreclub, this bar is the go to when someone asks you «where do I go for a really good time «, I think it’s obvious this place is wild and fun!
It’s right on the beach so it’s awesome for sunsets, and day drinking, they recently added on a super dope tiered patio that overlooks the ocean as well.
But I always go to Vito ! He’s the best and makes killer drinks, try the vodka red bull slushy!

The only great thing about this place is the location (views) and the redbull slushies, thaaats about it! As you may read through the reviews, this place is filled with old douche bags that wish they had a time machine and could go back to their college years or current college students which could be just as bad. On the weekends its pretty much packed like a can of sardines (EWW)
BEWARE of ordering the chicken tenders! They are 85% breading and maybe %15 chicken, they were the most disgusting chicken tenders I have EVER ordered, even fast food nuggets/​tenders are better! I ended up walking down to Tap Kitchen because my food was clearly not edible.
Pretty much this place is extremely lucky for its beach front location!

Ahhh… The old whore club. One of the finest establishments that PB (that’s pacific beach for txt) has to offer. Some would say like a classy pure platinum. It has a wide variety of weekly festivities from goldfish racing to red bull slushie chugging… better yet, what attracts most here is its dynamic array of females. Ranging from age 21 (because that’s how old you need to be to drink) to low 70’s. (Older if they didn’t have a heart attack in the bathroom yet by hitting that fairy dust). Generally every classy female you find here, you also saw on tinder. Coincidentally they are also «up all night to get lucky». … And «aren’t dtf on the first night» … But we all know what that means. The general crowd that flows in consist of hipsters, skaters, wanna be tough guys, punch faces, nerds, bros and a bunch of regular military, Unless they are the usual studs from NSW. You can tell who they are because they are usually the most rowdy, barrel chested freedom fighters in there rocking American flag bandannas and they piss red white and blue. (And no it’s not pancreatic cancer).. These are usually the same men cat calling and yelling «suck our di*ks» at the most inappropriate time. It’s because of these men most of these females flock here. They all congregate to shore club. A majority of them are «frog hogs» or «boat goats». For your quick situational awareness… A frog hog or a boat goat. Is a single/​group of females that are groupie-​fied. They only bang SEAL/​SWCC Operators. We have collected data and analyzed our findings about them. Some just want tri care, some just want to say they banged/​dated/​divorced a real man. Let’s be honest, what type of woman wouldn’t smell the testosterone in the Air dissipating from the place??? Exactly they all smell it and it makes their panties drop, that’s why a majority of them in there go commando. If you’re looking for a girl to take home to mom this is not the place to go to… Also if you haven’t laid with her yet. chances are your buddy probably has. So, if you’re looking for a good time shore club is where it’s at but stay strapped my friends. 1 out of 4 females in pacific beach carry the dirty… You know the gift that keeps on giving (an actual study from a local college)… Stay thirsty my friends.

Nothing like enjoying a bunch of beer on the beach while watching some great NFL football on a nice 73 degree Sunday afternoon… that is pretty much the case here.
Me and the guys came here to enjoy some beer and football which was awesome! Our server behind the bar was cool and put up with our constant shenanigans… I wish I could remember her name because she was awesome. We were there for awhile so I got a little hungry and went with the steak wrap. Was ok, but have had better wraps but it did what it was supposed to do; soak up the liquor. Its best to get here before 2PM as the place can fill up and develop a line out the door and down the stairs. Awesome view of the beach from the open windows. Beer options on tap are pretty standard… nothing fancy

Wow. Worst experience ever here. I’ll get straight to the point. I was standing at the bar waiting for a drink and some pig comes up and slaps my ass. I had no idea who he was nor was i inviting those kinds of actions in any way. I naturally turned around and slapped him. And maybe I could of handled it in a better way, but it was a natural reaction…
Next thing I know me and friend are being asked to leave…
The dude that slapped my ass actually worked at the bar, but it was his night off.
The bouncers said that I just slapped the guy for no reason and the cameras didn’t show him slapping my ass.
Lol I’m not a violent person by any means and I don’t just go around slapping people for no reason.
So if you want to get molested by employees on their night off, come here.
Screw this place.

I’m going with 5 stars because of this places location, beer selection, beer deals. The food isn’t very good and they don’t have many options, especially vegan and vegetarian but everything else is pretty good. The bar tenders and servers are always nice and attentive but the door men always seem like they have had the worst day possible… we’re living in San Diego, let’s relax!

Good music mostly Top 40s and some rap, quick to get in if you go early around 9:30 on a Saturday night. There was a line when we left around 11. Everyone seemed nice and having fun. Great views, I got the vodka red bull slush and my husband got the same just bigger size. Price was $ 28 so a little steep but good times.

I have mixed feelings about shore club. The restaurant itself is kind of dirty looking, but the red bull vodka slushies are pretty tasty!
I’m only basing this review off drinks and ambiance cause I have never tried the food (I can only imagine how filthy the kitchen) .
Fair beer selections, some yummy mixed drinks, and you can’t beat the view. If your in the pb area and just want to grab a drink I say go for it !

Overall I really enjoyed my time here. We had a group of 7 and got a nice table on the patio. We stayed about 3 hours and had a terrific time. We all ordered food and it was better than the average bar food. The busser came right over often and cleaned off our table and kept taking away plates as we finished them.
The server was hard to find and we had to order double drinks to make sure we were ok. A few of us had non-​alcoholic drinks with our food and there was barely any ice in it AND refills were impossible (again due to service). Our server was really friendly and good when she showed up.
I would go again if I could get a seat on the patio.

The new deck is awesome!!! I used to not enjoy shore club that much because you were always sardined together. But now– the deck created 10x more space and it’s finally enjoyable to spend a Friday night at this place. Bartenders are hit and miss with their customer service.

My buddies took me here on a Saturday night when I was in SD. It was packed and poppin off for the Comic Con weekend. The patio is badass. There was a nice breeze and views of the beach.
Would give this place 5 stars but I didn’t like the idea of being punished for using the restroom. It was crowded (and I guess the patio was to capacity) so to get back on the patio after you use the restroom you had to wait in a line. Poor planning on their part

Really liked their frosty icee whatever drinks they had. Tasted good. Went down smoothly. The wings were okay. They were good but not anything out of the ordinary. $ 4 for that giant chalice of brew.
We went for the NCAA tournament. Place was packed. Shoulder to shoulder. Sorry Wisconsin. It was a sea of red in there. Clearly a badgers bar. $ 10 minimum to charge on your card.
I’ll be back for that sunset.

Good view of the sunset. Don’t know if you’ll enjoy this place if you are not in college or looking for a hook up age 24 and under.
Got some beers, chicken wings and the red bull slushy. Cheap beers in a goblet. Chicken wings were fried and decent tasting. The slushy tasted okay and will keep you awake all night. It was so packed, felt sorry for the servers who had to maneuver around drunk people.
Come for the sports, cheap beer, drunkies and hookups. Don’t come here if you are expecting some thing like Mike Hess or Ballast.

I wanted to give a 1-​star review but the guy there Wally saved it.
We got there at 12:15pm on a Thursday for the SD burger week. Waited for like 5, 10 min, no hostess or something, ok, so we seated ourselves.
Weak-​sauce burger week promotion. Here is the ad
«Shore Classic Burger — grilled Angus beef with lettuce, tomato,​pickles, and American cheese. Served on a chipotle aioli toasted Brioche bun»
Sounds yummy, right? When I ordered it, the server said, «By the way it’s a junior burger.» False advertising, BUMMER. Then the food came AFTER 45 minutes, and even worse, look at the picture for what I got. Overcooked dry burger with no toppings, no sides. I complained to the waitress but she said that was it. I complained to another guy Wally, and he fixed it by giving me another one with toppings with a side of fries. That’s what it should be!
Meh, I don’t know. I think my experience at World Famous next door was way better.
