Papa John’s Pizza

I haven’t had Papa Johns in quite some time. I remembered it being pretty good. I’m not sure what happened but they have really gone down hill. I’m not sure where they’re getting their cheese these days, but im not sure you could really consider it cheese. Safe to say it’s the last time I will be ordering.

Delivery fee $ 3.45, each sauce for chicken 50 cents, how mad I am when I don’t get the sauce I paid for and still been charged 3.45 + tip and the manager Keith doesn’t help out. Priceless! Go somewhere else.

They state the the delivery fee is not a tip. As a customer, the delivery fee is expensive therefore it is a tip. I did give the driver another $ 1.50, but let’s be clear if the company is making a profit from a delivery fee it’s a tip.
Also for this type of fee, you would expect speedy delivery.
The time was stated as 30 – 40 min which is not fast, and they took 45 min.

Like way faster then the those old Domino’s adds that were 30 mins or less or free pizza. We were at my friends place DT and one of our friends said there’s a Papa Johns close. ps– this is on-​line only. Anyway online ordering takes longer then you would think so save your info especially if you generally order the same thing. Once you place your order check your email to make sure they got it, I had an issue you here. had to call in, Steven was the Manager and really help and sorted out the problem. He was friendly and understanding. I accidentally got double charged. He said he fixed it and when it comes off my account I’ll make it 5 stars.

Kenneth the Sunday manager is a jerk and I won’t be coming to this location again. I ordered online a two pizza and a two liter deal. I wanted delivery but they didn’t offer it, though I saw a delivery person at the restaurant. So I drove the 10 minutes there during my work break to pick up this order that I bought for my co-​workers as a celebration. When I got back I discovered that they had not given me the 2-​liter, so I called and asked if they could have their driver drop it off or if they could refund me the price of the 2-​liter. They said yes, but then they called me back 5 minutes later and said no they wouldn’t do either. So I called corporate and now they say they’re delivering the Pepsi in 20 minutes. We’ll see. But Kenneth obviously doesn’t care about customer service, just about his $ 2 2-​liter.

I used to be able to give this location 4 – 5 stars but the service is declining. With my last order the delivery man was to lazy to bring my order to my apartment and called me to come get it at our lobby. I assumed he didn’t have access to get in but turns out he said he had just arrived and called to convienience himself. :(I emailed customer service my experience and surprisingly received a call a couple days later from someone claiming to be a manager at the shop who was apologetic. Unfortunately for me she calls past 9pm, waking me up with false promises of vouchers that never arrived. It’s any other pizza joint for me from now on.

Another bad experience tonight. I ordered 2 pizzas but the lady said that there was 4 pizzas ordered on 2 different orders. I have copied and pasted my order.

Yet the lady at the counter said there was 4 pizza’s ordered for me. She asked 3 times, so you don’t want the other 2 pizzas. I showed her on my phone my email confirmation but she insisted that there was 2 orders for me and it wasn’t her fault and I should pay for them all. I got mad and left. How hard is it to read an order from the internet and have it ready. They have some very dumb people working for them. They have drivers who nearly run over people and people who can’t read an email confirmation

The guy on the phone this morning was very helpful. He said his name was Chris. I ordered for takeout and everything was right. The large slices of pepperoni and pieces of sausage they use on their new pizza is AMAZING. Don’t forget the jalapeños. Lol

Anna the manager was extremely helpful and friendly! I ordered a take out special and wasn’t rung up correctly the gentleman ringing me up said there wasn’t anything he could do since he had already swiped my card. Anna stopped what she was doing and corrected the problem pizza in hand! Thanks for the great customer service and the pizza!

NOT HAPPY! I purchased a large 3 topping, 8 pc wing and a salad. The pizza arrived COLD, we needed to re heat in the oven. The salad is 2 days away from the experation date, the crutons were stale. The chicken was fine. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I love Papa Johns! That being said, I’ve given this place 3 tries. First time was ok, 2^nd and 3^rd were horrible. Pizza was either cold or not enough toppings or sauce. I’ve waited twice to watch the pizza be made. I don’t like the fact that the employees make pizza without gloves then walk to the register to charge people. Seriously needs a manager for quality control!

Ok, so I order a pizza at 5:51 PM online. At 7:11 PM, I call Papa John’s and ask if there is a problem. I’m told no, and that the driver just left. I say OK and continue waiting.
At 7:21 I get a phone call from an unknown number. Before I can pick it up the phone call ends. Then I get a text saying «papajohns». I call the number back and it was some random guy at the Yardhouse who the delivery driver had borrowed his cell phone to make that call because he couldn’t find where I lived. Then, he walked off.
At 7:51 PM I call the restaurant again to figure out what is going on. It takes some prodding, but then I find out the pizza has been returned by the delivery driver and is just sitting at the restaurant. The guy on the phone, friendly enough, says they can send it out to me now if I want.
No, I certainly do not feel like paying for a cold pizza and have it delivered by the same dude who just gave up last time and is apparently unfamiliar with the recent inventions of cell phones, or even pay phones, or Google Maps, or whatever.
And hey, two hours without calling me? Could’ve helped me out there Papa John’s. My wife is 8 months pregnant, and I was literally scared for my life until I could whip up some food and feed her.
Not impressed. How has Papa John’s not figured out how to deliver pizzas at this point in their corporate lifespan?

I usually only like cold pizza as leftovers after it’s been in the fridge. Unfortunately I received my pizza as if it were sitting in a cold room for hours. Won’t be ordering from this one or adding tips before I receive my pizza again. Gross!

Chris is an awesome delivery guy. Very polite and kind, and always delivers the best! The philly cheese steak pizza was just okay I must say, (im usually not a fan of philly cheese steak, but i am a fan of pizza!) but everytime I order im satisfied and the pizza was done right. My favorite is the pineapple. It tastes fresh and not fake like other pizza places. I hear other pizza chains use fake cheese. Ew. i get my order fast everytime because i usually order in the morning. Keep up the hard work! No Complaints here!

Hands down the least helpful pizza place you’ll ever call. After about five minutes on the phone I eventually had to give up and call another pizza place, it says if no one has ever ordered a pizza from them before and they weren’t prepared. It’s unfortunate when customer service suffers because they’re in such a prime location.

Alright I’ve been going to Papa Johns for as long as I can remember. And then we had a situation where they took an hour and a half and the delivery guy said he delivered 6 pizzas before us. We complained. And I don’t know if this was related, but this was far more disgusting.
I took a bite into some pizza. I pulled the slice away. Something kept pulling. Wait… That’s not cheese… That’s a hair. A dark hair. A long dark hair. I have red hair.
Well, Papa John’s, we are clearly over. It’s not me, it’s you.

I never had Papa Johns before and after a million commercials and a half off a large pizza deal I decided I would try it out.
I like that they have online ordering. I hate calling into places and trying to sound like a nice person when really I am not a nice person when hungry. Online ordering is win win for everyone involved!
My pizza was late by about 15 mins. This is not a huge deal but I was surprised given I live close and I gave them more than three hours to make the pizza. The delivery guy was nice and overall I would give him 5 stars.
It is just that this place makes god awful terrible pizza. I am not even a pizza snob. I actually don’t mind dominos. This place?

I went for the thin crust with bbq sauce. The sauce was like vinegar and had no place on any pizza. The thin crust was not very thin and it was really chewy. The mushrooms were really small and of bad quality.
I THINK I got sick from eating this pizza. I mean who knows for sure given that I stuff my Unilocal hole with huge amounts of food all day every day. I don’t eat meat so that was not the problem. I dunno, but I can’t not write this review and not mention it.
I got the cheese bread sticks which where alright. The cheese lacks flavor and it all tastes really fake. The garlic dipping butter was delish. I can not deny it. I just don’t think I should have to dip my bread and cheese into a butter garlic sauce to make it taste good.
Service was pretty good, I can’t complain. I like that you can put the tip on your card. I just really dislike the pizza and feel like Dominos or anywhere else would be better choice if you like thin crust.

When Pizzeria Luigi is closed and you’re hurting for a little late night pizza, you have to turn to the big boys. Ya know, the mass-​produced crap with Peyton Manning’s ugly mug plastered all over the box? Yeah, it’s bad but I must say that it’s gotten better since my last review.
It’s a tad embarrassing but once you get on a rotation with this joint it’s as easy as pie… terrible pun intended. The online interface saves and presents your previous orders once you log in and all you need to do click away. Credit card number is saved, address and special instructions. This is very important after a day of drinking, friends. Now you wait…
The wait has become a lot less stressful. Perhaps I am ordering at off peak hours but they will usually land that pizza at my doorstep within 30 minutes or so. Too bad the quality is still decent at best and you can almost taste the pain and agony of an 18 year old kid working late on a Friday night with every bite. I always request extras sauce now because it did have a tendency of arriving a bit dry.
Hey, it doesn’t happen often but when I HAVE TO go to the pizza dark side, PJ’s has become my go-​to.

And after months, ordered the pepperoni pizza and what a big mistake !
More than a hour and a half after the order was placed, we get a cold cardboard like pizza!
The worst pizza ever!!!
