Papa John’s is my son’s favorite pizza place. Today I tried 4 times to order pizza for his birthday party. 2 times no answer, one guy told me to order online & the last guy tried to put me on hold because their system was down. I asked can you take down my order manually & the kid said he couldn’t do anything until the system was back up. Where is the customer service here??? SMH. Taking my business elsewhere.

Ordered pizza today for lunch. First the guy on the phone was very nice! The pizza came fast! Pizza was great! He also left me coupons to use next time. I plan on ordering more often, it was really good today!

This place seriously needs to work on their customer service… I went in and ordered the special which is a large all meat for $ 12 and the brownie for $ 6.25… then I asked the guy if I can have the pizza with half just pepperoni since it’s for a kid… he said okay and then gave me a total of $ 29.18. I asked why and he said that they can’t make it that way… seriously??? How hard is it to tell the person who is making it to make half all meat and half just pepperoni… not only it’s easier but I’m saving the company money by getting only half of the ingredients that goes on the entire pizza… other than that, the pizza is very delicious and service was fast…

I LOVE papa johns pizza, and that dang special garlic sauce has been a pregnancy craving of mine recently… but tonight I was very disappointed in the service… I have the papa johns app and I love how hassle free and convenient it is. I placed my order around 5:30 and it’s now 6:44 and still no pizza… I called the store to see what was up and spoke to the rudest, most uninterested person over the phone…

Ive been there twice and both times I’ve ordered a couple pizzas and ask for paper plates. I always get the same line, «we are out.». How does a major pizza chain like papa johns never have plates. Unbelievable, if I was a regional manager someone would get fired.

I haven’t had Papa John’s in a while but it feels like the quality has went downhill. We ordered two pizzas for pick up and the toppings looked a little skimped. They also didn’t have any plates? The customer service seemed pretty weak here. They didn’t explain why they didn’t have any plates or say sorry. Didn’t even offer for peppers and Parmesan(had to ask for it). Overall, the pizza was still edible but nothing to satisfy a pizza craving.

Terrible customer service! I needed a jump for my car, asked the lady at the front desk to call one of the drivers! Their cars were parked outside, no one was busy! She asked me in an offensive way if I could wait she would ask them! In a matter of seconds she came back saying that they could not help me out, because they didn’t want to! Of course she lost the sale, customer and got the one star review! Hopefully no one else need something from that location again! «Kindness generates kindness» — don’t go there expecting kindness! I know, it’s a pizza place, but at least respect and a reasonable customer service is expected! Not there!

Love Papa Johns, but it’s very bad business when you offer/advertise a deal on your counter. Then when a customer orders, you back out of it saying it no longer applies, only offering half the deal. Um no, you should honor what you advertise. Everyone knows there is always someone who can override. It Is not the fault of the consumer, so you need to fix it!

Had a great experience with James recently when we had surprise out-of-town guests. We ordered online but had to call and change the order after placing it when we discovered vegetarians had made the road trip to invade our space. He changed the order without hesitation and suggested we go halfsies on the toppings so we didn’t have to order a whole other pie. Kudos to James and the team!

Always on time. Always hot. Always good! You can’t go wrong with Papa John’s. Plus… Add in the garlic dipping sauce? Yes, please. Sometimes I think I may drink it, just because I like it that much. I like to get wings, too. Sometimes, I don’t even eat the pizza right away! If you want easy, fast, and good, go to Papa Johns.

It’s sad because I really liked your quality of pizza. A suggestion so that you don’t lose any other Loyal customers like myself, don’t hire drivers with a horrible sense of direction please. We were waiting for our pizzas for a while, then finally the driver calls us asking where we lived. We tried to explain it to her, but it didn’t help. 20 minutes later we called her back and after multiple attempts, she finally asked her where she was. She said she was outside of the apartment building because she couldn’t find us. SHEGAVEUP? So after waiting another 10 minutes, we called and canceled the order. No one seemed to care. That’s fine. It was a good ride, but when customer service goes down the toilet, I’M OUT!

The location is convenient and I come here often. The are okay except today – it’s 6:30 and I’m still here, waiting for a pizza that’s supposed to be ready by 6:00! I placed the order this early morning and they should have plenty of time to get ready! It’s disappointing.

I just started loving papa john’s pizza. It’s not doughy like other places and they often have great deals. My favorite is the bbq chicken pizza and the cookie pizza! definitely my go-to pizza joint!

Pizza is good. I like Papa J’s over some of the other chains but there are many other great pizza places close. But when I want a quick pizza, this should be a cinch. Told me over the phone 20 minutes. I dutifully show up 20 minutes later. And have been sitting waiting for 20 min. So they really meant 45 minutes. Because I have nothing better to do than sit in a take out delivery joint waiting on ok pizza complaining on Unilocal

Picked up a delicious pizza from a handsome mustached fellow. The pizza was ready in a timely manner but you could tell they were understaffed because the manager was picking up all of the front of the house duties without any support to complete all the orders. The manager, James, was very polite and attentive despite having to devote his attention in so many directions. Everything was fine until I complimented his mustache and he told me that his boss was making him cut it off because it was unprofessional. I found this very unsettling. I cry foul, Papa John’s upper management! This was one of the most professional and well manicured mustache I have ever encountered! Denying your employees the right to express themselves through well groomed facial hair is simply unconstitutional. Pizza is a staple of America– land of the free and home of the brave. Don’t prevent your employees from exercising their freedom of expression while selling a delicious invention of our diverse nation.

We ordered two pizzas today 1÷28÷14 at 5:40PM and it showed up an hour later. My wife and I began eating the cheese pizza and the meat lovers was for our son. He picked his first piece took a few bites, looked at his pizza and spat out what was in his mouth and showed his mother and I the hair that was on it. Needless to say dinner was over and so is our patronage of Papa Johns. Good luck to all of Papa John faithful… make sure to inspect closely before taking that first bite.

This place is consistently awful. My husband and I love papa John’s, but we are DONE with this location. We’ve given them plenty of chances in hopes things get better, but we’ve had at least 3 bad experiences. Their delivery is very slow. Sure, you’re busy. but if it’s a consistent issue, maybe hire more drivers? 1. One instance, they were about 20 min late. 2. Last time, I placed an order online. The confirmation said 20 – 30 minutes. About 45 minutes passed, so I called in. Only then, I was informed that their delivery time was about 1.5 hours. Their system is apparently not linked to the online delivery estimate thing. Really? Our pizza still went beyond the revised estimate. 3. Today, my husband decided to call it in. They ring him up, and THEN say it’s a 1.5 wait. It took two hours. We requested extra cheese, there was an area that had no cheese! We also asked for double pepperoni, their placement was weak. Pizza was cold and I found a hair in my slice. It stayed put in the crust when I pulled on it, so there’s no way it was mine and it had accidentally fallen in. We’ll be calling management, but there’s no way we’re eating here again.

There should be a minus sign before those stars up there! Grayed out stars means negative four stars! This venue sucks to the infinity power when it comes to the delivery. I placed an order before 10AM for a 1:45PM delivery and it’s now 2:24PM and no pizza. Really? I called to find out what happened and they told me they only had one driver. Ok… so you are charging me a delivery fee for what again? How about a courtesy call prior to the delivery time to let us know that there’s an issue so that my family won’t be waiting for the pizza… starving! Spoke to the store manager who had no customer service skills. So I asked manager who is above her. I talked to Mr. David Shannon(sp) and he seemed apologetic. I know everyone at Papa John’s is sorry for the delay(so am I — trust me), but that doesn’t fix the fact that my boys are still waiting for food. Tip: Mr. Shannon was professional in handing the situtaion… so it’s a relief to have someone with people skills to speak to about my concern.

I come here because it’s convenient and for the most part their pizzas are good. Their crust is way better than Costco’s, which is dry and hard. Papa John’s crust is fluffier and more bread-like. Their online ordering system is great and their timing is pretty accurate. The nearby parking spaces can be all filled up if there is a Karate competition next door, but for the most part it’s fine. I see a lot of reviews have complaints about their staff, but I’ve never had a problem with them, they all seem nice. It’s not a 5 star hotel we’re talking about here. I’ve only had one negative experience with their pizzas, where they must have run out of pizza sauce. because I didn’t get any on mine. Sometimes I order extra sauce, and that time it would’ve been a good idea. The best part is definitely the Papa reward points. While I don’t get their pizza that often, Peyton Manning seems to be encouraging John to give away more pizzas or at lower point values, and that’s great! The Unilocal 100 Challenge — 2013 #7
