WOW! This place is ridiculous. If you are not black and want to feel racially discriminated against, this place is for yooouuuuuuuu! Ten of us Asians went here and entered the restaurant to find a friendly environment suddenly turn sour. The busy hum drum of family chatter went dead in a matter of seconds. Every single face in the establishment literally turned toward our group, silent, and in awe. Their expressions spoke louder than words, «What the hell are these foreigners doing here?» Were we a group of slanty-eyed Asians that put a hole into the restaurant because we drive so bad? No… all we did was walk into a restaurant. So we freeze at the entrance and I say to my friends, «Is this really happening right now?» There was one white guy there and he stared at us too. So after we sit and this monumental event of Asians entering their restaurant is over, the awkwardness subsides. So our black waitress was racist also. She refilled all the other tables drinks except ours. We had to request our refills that were served with a hesitant scoff. For some reason, the kitchen was extremely slow that night. All the tables got their food over an hour later. The waitress tells the table next to us that they took some items off their receipt because of their slow kitchen staff. Naively expecting the same treatment, our bill comes at full cost with an 18% tip surcharge. Papa Docs might as well put up a sign that says, «Black Pride. Everyone else out.» The food was very good. Get the fried chicken and ribs. Drool. The restaurant is very nice and upscale. Prices are moderate but in our case we got robbed. What an eye-opening jaw-dropping experience. Oh yea we saw Big Black from Rob and Big. He was rolling with two white hoes in a corner of the restaurant. Positive highlight of the night.
