My husband and his brothers went out on Daves shark fishing charter Oct 3. What an awesome experience. They caught (and released) a huge 300lb hammerhead. They were like children on Christmas day with their enthusiasm. Dave was professional, prepared, knowledgeable. What a great memory! The price was reasonable, you can purchase a CA fishing license at the dock.

This was absolutely an amazing experience. Everything was done with professionalism and care but was still a fun time for us as customers. Captain Dave is very knowledgable and worked hard to give us a great time in the water.
We were fortunate enough to catch a hammerhead during our trip but I feel that even had we not gotten the shark to come in, we still would have had a great time on the water.
If you are looking to take a fishing charter, this is one that deserves your business.

I have chartered guided fishing trips many times. On The Fly Fishing absolutely takes the cake! Captain Lou put us on fish and we were able to land four Mako Sharks! The knowledge, experience and know how Captain Lou brings to the table is beyond compare. Captain Lou is a consummate professional. All that aside, Captain Lou is flat out a nice guy. I feel like I made a lifelong friend. His personal touch capped off a perfect day of shark fishing. I will absolutely be a return customer! I can hardly wait to hook into my next Mako shark!
