We stayed at the Hacienda Hotel and decided to eat here because of the recommendation from the hotel. Because we didn’t have a reservation we were seated in the patio. Our drink and food order was taken promptly but after that we were not checked on at all. We waited at least an hour for our food to come and when we received it you can tell it had been sitting there for a while. We will not be coming here again.

It’s been such a great night having margaritas with friends and our wonderful server Kim. I never knew what a sun rise looked like until I met Kim.

This review is long overdue! My friends and I have group happy hour at least once per month. We heard about the Tequila Factory through a friend, so we gave it a try in late 2015. My experience here still bothers my friends and me. We are usually very understanding and easygoing, but we did not deserve to be disrespected. Upon my arrival, the waiter was disgruntled and immediately said I couldn’t order happy hour food despite it being a few minutes before the deadline. He did not offer water or ask if I wanted to order anything. I was starving and had to ask if I could order food. I ordered nachos with extra chicken. The chips were stale and there were just a few pieces of chicken. All other dishes were okay. Due to the worst customer service ever, my group will never return! There are many other places with staff who are gracious about their job and they deserve stellar tips.

I’m Always looking for a good skinny margarita! Maggie knows how to make one! I actually had been in Old Town for 2 days and with all the Mexican restaurants I was sure to find one, but no:(I was actually not expecting it I just said give me a margarita but not to sweet and it was delicious! Bravo Maggie! I also meant a rep for U4Rik named Patty she sells that stuff! Very awesome PR. The sample where awesome! Good times!

Food was mediocre. We had steak & shrimp fajitas and shrimp & fish enchiladas. The best part was the steak. The shrimp wasn’t very tasty and there was barely any fish in the enchiladas. I know Old Town is very touristy… so next time we’re in town we’ll be trying else where. I actually think we like Chevy’s better… which isn’t saying much.

Came in here for the brunch buffet with my co-workers for our Christmas get together and loved it! for the price, I would say it’s a really good deal! $ 20 for all you can eat buffet with mimosas! This is a perfect place to take your spouse, friends, and family to get together and grab a yummy brunch with a nice dining area with a beautiful view! It is def Mexican themed but you can get eggs, sausages, and more! They have enchiladas, shredded beef, rice, and the dishes go on and on! I loved everything. Authentic and fresh. The even have soup here too! And for drinks there is fresh horchata and Mexican drinks that tastes very yummy! Every hour or so they have a musician that comes out and plays his guitar and sings Spanish song. It’s actually nice to listen to as you eat brunch. They also have a dessert area from churros to waffles, you can basically make whatever you can with the ingredients! It’s endless. The employees here are nice and they come around your table often to pick the dishes up to clean and refill your mimosa! I will def come back here for birthday brunches and for a get together! A hidden gem in old town that people should def take a look at and dine in!

EXTREMELYDISAPPOINTING! Drinks: for a place that calls itself«Tequila Factory» they don’t have a good selection, their double barrel margarita tasted watered down and their Chupacabra had a syrup and water taste. Food: I ordered their Baja tacos, they were served with a cold tortilla, room temperature vegetables and the only Thing you can taste was the fish batter. Same goes to their mahi mahi tacos. Service: no complaint or satisfaction with them, they were prompt but as soon as our food came he completely forgot about us, needless to say we stood up and paid on our way out with no check.

This review is just for the drinks — the food looked and smelled lovely but I can’t accurately comment on that. The drinks however we disappointing. We ordered a pitcher of the«double barrel» margaritas, which were supposed to be the top of the line. The Cadillac of margaritas, except not actually Cadillac margaritas. Confusing, yes, but stay with me. Maybe we just received a weak batch, but if I spend almost $ 40 on drinks with tip I expect to lose at least a few IQ points temporarily. Felt like a waste of money to me.

This place is in the hotel of Bestwestern in Old town, the brunch is 21.99 with unlimited mimosas, cool thing is when you check into Unilocal you get 30 per off, the food is ok but has a lot of Mexican dishes, from Poole, menudo, tacos, enchiladas, fruits, beans, swee5 corn cake, fried pork, ribs, omlettes, flan, macaroons, churros, waffles… To name a few… the waitress was nice, I do like the hot hats, jaimica, oj they had, they also had hot Mexican chocolate, I thought it was funny that coffee is 3 bucks extra but not included… come check it out for the ambiance, but like I said the food is ok. :)

Sunday Buffet review: Really good mex buffet. All the mex items were really good. The MacNCheez was god awful! They even know it and quickly removed it. I really love the white egg omelet options! I also wish the enchilada’s were not cheese… but. ya can always grab some other meat items and plug’em in that chilada hole, if ya know what i mean. ;) like the ribs… hah a ha The desert items are tasty! The service is excellent! If you get here at 9:00AM, you’ll be surprised that no tables are available cuz apparently a bunch of tards and\or tourist fucks reserve up the entire place for 10:00AM or 10:30AM leaving those that show up at 9:00AM with no where to sit so they jammed us in the bar… that was cool with us but why da fuq do they reserve up the place with 10:00AM reservations when the sunday buffet opens at 9??? whatevs… buffet is $ 21.99 and most def worth it!

A friend of mine invited my wife and I out for a brunch buffet with bottomless mimosas this past Saturday and we couldn’t resist. For $ 20 you get really good Mexican food which included rice, beans, chiles rellenos, menudo, pazole, enchiladas, omelets, breakfast foods and more!!! Plus, all the mimosas you can handle. It even got to the point where we were mixing juices with our mimosas and it tasted fantastic! Our server, Graciela, was awesome! She was on point for everything! This is definitely a hidden gem for brunch and we plan on coming back for sure. I just hope we’re able to have Graciela again as our server. She made the experience even more worthwhile.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing views. Parking is horrible unless you find a spot in the underground parking garage between P1&P2. If you do, it’s free for 3 hours. If not, parking costs $ 15 for the day. The service was great. We had a big party eating out on the patio for the Brunch and the waiters were doing a great job.

Had a very nice dinner with a former student and her boyfriend. Restaurant adjoins Best Western hotel and had tourists and carryover crowd from watching playoff games. Arizona Cardinals are a big deal this year. Dinner was delicious, standard chips and salsa starter with spicy flavorful salsa. Friends had delicious looking Margaritas. I chose a shredded beef burrito which was perfectly prepared. Friend had combination platter and taquitos respectively. Both were delicious and the platter provided leftovers. None of us had room for dessert. Came back this AM for breakfast buffet because of 6AM opening, perfect for East coast tourist not acclimated to time change. Food was self serve buffet and satisfying. Prices for dinner and breakfast were quite reasonable. Add on a 20% discount and score a great value. Love these kind of experiences with friendly people providing a product of value. Restaurant also offered attractive Spanish décor enhancing an already enjoyable pair of meals.

The boyfriend and I were in Old Town for our last day in San Diego, and we didn’t want to venture too far so we Unilocaled this place. Service was definitely friendly. We were greeted right away by host staff, even when they were taking down the holiday decorations. Our waitress for the area we were seated in was on break, so another waiter covered for her until she was done — great cooperation that I can appreciate. They checked up on us throughout our lunch. The food was good. Thanks to the chef for letting us and another slide for ordering instead of partaking in the buffet special. I had the Tres Amigos Taquitos, and the boyfriend had a Combination of Taquitos, Enchiladas and Tacos. The Taquitos and tacos were crunchy goodness, and the Enchilada was not overly drenched with yummy sauce. Fresh Pico de Gallo ingredients and avocado always scores bonus points during the meal. Honestly wasn’t worth to partake in it if we were just looking for a simple meal that cost us less than $ 30, and they were charging $ 20/person for the buffet. Yes, it came with champagne, but it didn’t suit our needs or wants to drink or gorge on food before hitting the road home.

Went in for the free drink that came with the price of the room. Stayed for the friendly service(Lisa, you rock!), excellent chips and salsa, delicious guacamole and exceptionally tasty beef fajitas. We normally don’t order fajitas out because we like our own home-made ones the best, but Lisa pretty much raved about them so we split an order and were blown away. I recommend that you try this place instead of standing in line at the restaurants down the hill, as we have done a few times. We are in the bar but there are a couple of patios with killer views. But the bar is cozy on a chilly night. We are planning our next trip to SD to stay at the Hacienda and hang at Tequila Factory.

(July 31st) Came here for High School reunion party. The parking here was not good at all. Now the negativity is out of the way. We reserved all of the outdoor patio. The bartender and the servers were all great! We all felt taken care of. The buffet spread they put out was delicious. The staff was running around helping us take group pictures. Everything was wonderful(except the parking). The drinks were awesome and not overly expensive.

This place is a hidden gem! Came here for brunch on a Saturday and it was amazing! $ 19.99 for a gigantic breakfast brunch buffet That INCLUDES mimosas. you cant go wrong with that price. Brunch is open thru 2 pm so you could stay and do some damage here if you wanted.. or at least have enough time to have breakfast and lunch. The brunch buffet had everything! Cheese enchiladas, fajitas, chile relleno, salads, fruit, bread, potatoes, veggies, a woman freshly making tortillas and all the toppings to make your own tacos, the pork was an amazing choice for tacos. My favorite buffet option– an omelet station with fresh veggies, meats and option of egg whites only and omelets were a good size! There was dessert — churros, cookies, fried bananas and more! Champagne– my glass never got empty, the waiter was great about keeping that cup full! Plus– they have an outside patio with an AMAZING View and also dog friendly(my pup was happy)!
