This place is my go to for group meetings and after class brew time. I have been a huge fan of the create-your-own style restaurant. It allows you to make a decision without being limited by preferences of your fellow friend’s taste buds. Today I met up with my production team for our final class project. I decided that I wanted to mix the different sauces to see if it was possible. Check I forget if her name is Kelly or Amy, but her and the line team fulfilled all my request. This is something that most chain restaurants prohibit(the mixing of sauces that is). While I grabbed the food, my friend David grab a round of local brew that was great, thanks to the help of the two guys who gave us honest suggestions on people we previously ask about. Overall my experience was perfect. I will say that coming here around lunch time could be madness, but the staff of the establishment is exceptionally great.

Been here 4times and the bar service still sucks. Today the taps were down for the first half hour and they have no wings.

Possibly the best pizza I’ve had. The Pesto Mia is my favorite, despite how oily it can be(pesto is just basil, garlic, and olive oil, after all). The price is reasonable and you really get your money’s worth. Staff is friendly but it can get hectic when the joint is busy.

Best place to eat on campus by far. The line is long sometimes but that is the case pretty much everywhere else there so what can you do. Love the pizza here great sauce and fresh ingredients definitely worth the 8 $ by comparison to some of the other options at school. For me it is enough to split on most days unless you are extra hungry.

Their pizza is really good and freshly made. The price is reasonable too. If you’re not too hungry, you can share one pizza with a friend.

This place is one of the newest and best on campus hang outs at San Diego State. Not only do I love their personalized pizzas, but their local draft beers are great too! My favorite is the Duck Five or any of their Oggi’s brand beers as well. They let you taste test their beers before you buy them & are constantly bringing in new seasonal beers from local breweries to mix up their selection. This place is a great spot to meet friends in between or after classes and to watch the Chargers or any other sports teams! They also have a really fun Trivia Game Night on Wednesday’s that you can win prizes at. Don’t let the lines fool you, they’re quick to get your pizza and beer orders in!

Food: really not that great. Pizzas are either unmelted and still not warmed through or way burnt. Vinnies is probably the better options. Salads are fine but wings are subpar. Service: it’s the only bar on campus really. All the ppl there are nice enough. Location: lines can get crazy long during lunch so get there a little early. Recomended: beer selection for a campus joint and their salads.

Can’t complain much about the only place that will serve you a beer in the middle of campus between classes. I wish the engraved mug wall was larger or had a waitlist. Plenty of outside seating if it’s not too hot, and right next to the bowling alley.

First time here. Guy making my pizza was very friendly. I like the fact that a print out of the receipt is optional, but the girl printed out someone else’s receipt. They gave me a number, but wrote down a different one on my order, so the guy who brought the pizza over didn’t know where to bring it to and made several trips trying to verify. Nice atmosphere: an open space concept with good a/c. However, too much lighting makes for a very bright area on a sunny day. Also, haven’t seen anyone wiping tables. Additionally, music is too loud. A better option would be to play the louder volume in the bar area and not so loud in the rest of the restaurant. Pizza was good with a crunchy crust. I love the assembly line style of adding my own toppings. However, I almost wish this was a Project Pie because their sizes are slightly larger and prices are lower.

Note: this review is only for the bar. Positives: This is the only place to legally drink on the SDSU campus, baring the professor and graduate student/TA lounges… So I’ve heard. There is always a crowd and a solid assortment of beers to choose from. They have physical game nights, trivia, a couple other activities to enhance your social experience. Outdoor seating!!! Negatives: Despite the number of people who turn up here, the size is pretty limited. I’ve been here where there was no place to sit down on a hot afternoon and it was uncomfortable since its not set up like a regular bar. The beers are generally more expensive and I don’t believe there’s a happy hour pricing at all. I generally end up paying $~8 not including tip, per beer. He service is always hit or miss. I’d attribute this to having to deal with tons of bratty 21 year olds or college students in general, but those of us who have had a longer career in academia shouldn’t have to suffer for this. Overall, it’s not that bad, but I always feel like I’m overpaying for my experience. It’s not a bar ambiance, but the bar is separated from the kitchen so I feel like it gives off a strange identity crisis vibe.

The best pizza on campus AND the only place to grab a beer. You’ll find 30 taps with ONLY local craft beer at a reasonable price. Check out the Oggis brewed beers– they have it all from a blonde to a stout and they’re super cheap! So thankful to have a sports bar on campus!

The only bar on campus, but damn is the beer good. The food options are limited to pizza or salad, I’ve had both. The ingredients on the pizza are decent, $ 8 is not so bad for a personal pizza either. Salads are meh. The bar is chill, but its pretty small. There’s a bunch of different house beers to try. Torrey Pines IPA is a go to favorite of mine. Good amount of seating inside and a patio area outside.

I love having Oggi’s on SDSU’s campus! They have a personal size pizza for $ 7.99. You can pick one from their menu or customize your own pizza! They make your pizza right in front of you, similar to Subway, and you can pick your sauces, veggies, and meats. Tried their #5, which has herb infused olive oil as their sauce along with mozzarella cheese, mushrooms, artichokes, tomatoes and other great ingredients. If you’re looking for a healthy option, this is one of em! What’s also great is we have BEERONCAMPUS!!! They put a wristband on you so they know you’re 21+. Perfect place between or after class. Don’t get too drunk tho haha 0;)

This place serves up some pretty good pizza but holy crap, it is SO busy. I’ve only come here once because the line is usually way too long and I am too impatient to spend my entire lunch break trying to get a pizza from here. If you don’t like lines like I do, I recommend coming here before 11:30 am because if you come later than that you will have to stand in line forever. If you have more patience than I do or if you luck out and get there early, then it definitely a good place to get a customized pizza. You can choose from a variety of toppings and sauces and it comes within a reasonable amount of time. This is because when you are in line and finish your order, they pop the pizza in the oven right away. Anyway, a good place to go but yikes, the line…

Love this place! come here all the time after class with friends to drink a beer & have some pizza! Great pizza & beer! Staff are all very nice & build your own pizzas are the best! You make whatever kind you want & I also like that they always have different beers on tap every time I come! I always get a new beer everytime I come. Recommend this place to everyone!

What I would have done to have this place during my time at SDSU. I recently visited SDSU after graduation the past year to find out that Oggis had finally opened so I knew I had to take a quick stop. Luckily I made it to SDSU quicker then I expected so I had a couple hours to kill. I walked in to Oggis around 3pm on a Thursday and walked towards the bar. I wasn’t too hungry but a cold beer sounded great. All beers are $ 5 and they have plenty of options to choose from. A very relaxed vibe all around this place and I am sure it will end up making plenty of money. 1MAJOR issue… There are no outlets in this place to charge laptops or any other item which is extremely annoying. Other then that, seems to be a great new place to have on campus.

I would only come here if I went to school on campus here. Or happened to be on campus for the day. There are 2 parts to this spot. Ordering food and non alcoholic drinks and ordering at the bar. I have only gotten a beer here but have heard the pizzas are good and cheap. The bartending service was a bit slow as there was only 1 bartender and a good amount of people in line for lunch time. Nice to sit outside on the patio too.

Love that they opened an Oggis at SDSU. I come here often in between classes for some lunch or to grab a beer. The service is quick and efficient even though it’s always packed. The restaurant is split between the food and bar section. You order food by walking through a line where you can pick and choose what you want to put on your pizza or salad. They don’t have their full menu at this location and they offer personal pizzas rather than their large ones. I love that you can create your own pizza and put whatever you want on it. They also have amazing salads as well and they are huge portions! As for the bar, they have a ton of great beers on tap for reasonable prices. Their bartenders are very knowledgable about their beers as well. I’ll be back time and time again!

I’m a student at SDSU, and I will testify that you will probably end up spending a lot of money(or meal plan) here. It’s basically project pie, but in my opinion, better. The staff is mostly students. They’re all very friendly and for the most part I always end up having a nice conversation. There is almost always a really long line. I would say that this and the kind of high prices are the only downsides. The pizzas are all the same size, but you can make them however you want. There are soooo many different options and possibilities, and it tastes really good. Enjoy!
