Ocean Beach Tattoo

I loved Dragon!!! He knew exactly what I wanted even though I didn’t. My tattoo is perfect and I will treasure it and this visit forever. Don’t judge a book by its cover or Unilocal reviews, some people just can’t handle tattoos and make the experience bad for themselves. This is a great shop with great staff and it’s 24 HOURS! I will always come back here when I’m in San Diego.

I decided on a whim (over breakfast at 7:30am) that I wanted to get my nose pierced and I wanted to get it pierced NOW. Did some quick Googling, found this spot and cruised on over at 8:30. I was literally in, pierced and on my way out the door by 8:45. Eric was awesome. Love my little nose jewel!

Thank you for taking such good care of me, I gave Eric some ideas and he personally, dedicated his time off to draw my new tattoo. I was really surprised to see how talented this man was. I just told him what I was interested in and he took it from there.

I had been searching for somewhere to go get my lip pierced and no where was open except for this place. The piercer Eric was extremely friendly and helpful with any questions I had. I would 100% recommend this place to my friends and family members. Love this place!!!

RACIAL PROFILING. I would rate 0 stars if I could. I’m Native American and he stereo typed me because I have a feather tattoo. The artwork here sucks anyway it was the only shop nearby open at the time that we wanted a tattoo. Ultimately I’m sure these people are nice to their loved ones but I had never felt so disrespected in my life. As we walked away he told us to go on ahead to some «hotel room» with a bunch of «homies» and get infections. Sorry But for 4 women celebrating a bachelorette party that is not how I expected our night to end. If your not white then good luck with your future experience with their mediocre art work. Sorry if I’m offending anyone but as a native here on this land I am extremely offended and have never ever been treated with such vulgar attitude. I hope these people learn from the words that come out of their mouths because this is the kind of persona that will make a real «American» lose business in this economy. This is a melting pot kind of country more than ever and little statements like this can affect an individual more than they know. I hope that this place humbles themselves a lot more for future beautifully pigmented human beings. God bless your souls!

Been meaning to post this review for a long time. I went here a few months ago with a friend of mine after a fun night of drinking, so my state of mind is also to blame for this experience, but let me just say this was one of the worst experiences of my life. We went in for my friend to get a piercing but the guy who does the piercings was out and they told us we had to wait until he came back and we were about to leave and one of the tattoo «artists» offered to do a tattoo while my friend was waiting, I showed him something that I have been wanting, a flower of life tattoo, and he said he could do it no problem. I agreed and that was a huge mistake. It took him over an hour to «get ready» to do my tattoo, which consisted of 30 minutes of sanitizing and setting up his station and an hour of him smoking cigarettes and weed outside with the other «artist». I should’ve left but he kept on assuring me he was almost ready so my friend and I stayed. Finally I was in the chair. He started hacking at my shoulder blade and it just seemed like he didn’t know what the f*ck he was doing. During the tattoo he kept going outside to smoke more weed and more cigarettes and the other «artist» kept staring at my friend and I really creepy and offered us morphine and weed and the guy doing my tattoo offered to sell me a boat of Ecstasy and coke. My friend and I were freaked out. After 3 or more hours of him scraping my skin the tattoo was unfinished, janky, uneven, crooked, and just f*cking terrible. He said he couldn’t finish because I was moving too much and his hand hurt. I have about 20 tattoos and I have sat perfectly fine through all of them so he his making up excuses. This tattoo should’ve only taken 1 – 1.5 hours, finished and done properly. But now I am left with a terrible excuse for a sacred geometry tattoo and I am so embarrassed by it. I pretended like I liked the tattoo and he told me to come back in a week to finish it and I agreed just to get the f*ck out of there. DO NOT COME HERE, EVER. Unprofessional, creepy, drug addicts work here that only want your money. They don’t care about your safety or your tattoo or piercing. Stay away at all costs.

I went in for a piercing, and walked right back out without one. The receptionist was nice but the person who was going to pierce me pretty much didn’t acknowledge me, so I left. End of story.

Jimmy ‘bullet’ was AWESOME. Had such a great time with him. I went in with my husband to get a tattoo and he was so down to earth and talented. He free styled this skull and connected it to another tattoo And made it flow really really well. Cool music and great atmosphere. Overall an awesome experience that id come all the way to San Diego to get more done with him. Definitely a place to stop by!

First of all I just wanna start off by saying Nick that works there is a really cool guy I felt comfortable with him off the bat and was comfortable with him doing my tattoo, I asked for a black and gray rose with shears and a makeup brush on my wrist. The drawing came out good and it looked good when it was done but after it healed I can see all the imperfections, the lines are all not consistent and most are not even existent, the black is completely gone and the shading of it doesn’t look good what so ever. It sucks because it was quit expensive and it’s on my wrist so I’m gonna have to see it everyday till I go get it fixed somewhere else. It hasn’t even been completely 2 weeks and it already looks like a faded prison tattoo :-/​. I have other tattoos and one of mine that is 4 years old looks newer then this one. I will not go back there which I’m bummed about cuz like I said nick was really chill. But this is gonna be on my body forever so if someone’s gonna go over it again I would rather it be someone really good, cuz the wrist hurts bad! I will upload pix if I can
