I haven’t visited a pool hall in years! My buddies felt like playing and we ended up here. There are a fair amount of tables, I’d say about 14 – 18 or so. They also have different types: Regular, Diamond, and Snooker. I’ve only ever played on a regular table and the standard game, so don’t know much about the Diamond and Snooker tables. The layout of the tables requires you to pay attention prior to taking your shot to avoid jamming your pool cue into someone. Tables and equipment for the most part appeared to still be in decent /okay shape. The felt I would say, on our table at least, looked to be worn and faded in color but in fair condition. Definitely wouldn’t hurt for the owner(s) to replace the felt. The crowd here seems for the most part college aged and older. They do serve beers and snacks. Everybody appeared to be respectful and non-rowdy. The music here was loud, but not overly so. I was able to talk in a normal voice and be heard. The night we went, there was a lot of 90s hip hop music playing. Parking can be a pain in this plaza, but late night there seems to be ample street parking. The only interaction I had in regards to service was when I paid the bill. The guy seemed friendly. Price seemed fair for the few hours we spent there. Had a great time here. I’d definitely return. 3⁄5 — Tables 3⁄5 — Pool Cuesta 3.5 /5 — Service 3⁄5 — Parking 5⁄5 — Level of fun Overall, I’m going to round up and score this place a 4⁄5.

I’ve been to this pool hall for about 20 times now, and I love it here! It’s the best pool hall I’ve been to. Always the best chill spot to shoot pool with your friends. The pricing is also pretty great. There are so many tables, so you’re rarely ever going to have to wait for one. Perks include: –Their tables include regular/barbox tables, diamond tables, and even a snooker table. –Their tables are very new, modern, and are cleaned often –Their balls and cues are also very clean and new –They always play very popular music –They have a great selection of food to choose from on their menu Overall, I love coming here, and I’ll definitely keep coming to practice and play billiards with my friends. Anyone with a free night to do whatever and have fun should definitely come by and check it out.

Nice place, coming every day. I’m really a pool addict. They got two 9ft diamonds, four diamond bar tables and even a star snooker table.

My favorite place to play billiards in Clairemont period. Lots of tables, affordable, jukebox for your music varieties, and even alcohol to give you liquid courage to beat your date at pool. Or even make the losers buy you a bottle of soju after each game. Great hangout and good atmosphere for an activity after you eat your heart out in one of the restaurants in the area.

An interesting experience… The discount code is not accurate for checking in on Unilocal. The food and drinks menu is not accurate, do not look for food besides chips and peanuts. The staff do not possess any professional character when providing service to customer. If this establishment fell under better management this place may provide decent service.

Shot some stick last night. Staff is ALWAYS helpful and chill. Parking is easily accomplished at night in a fairly large off street lot, which is Heaven sent on Convoy. Table prices are reasonable, they have beer and wine and the place is clean. If your party is a bunch of backwards baseball hat wearing frat boys yelling, screaming and hi-fivin’, you are unlikely to be welcome here. The tables REALLY need new felt.

O Billiard is exactly what it looks like from the outside — A simple poolhall with a regular crowd that comes in to drink and shoot. Located in the strip mall next to Common Theory(great pub!) this place is perfect for a game between pints. It’s reasonably priced for sure, the equipment is immaculate and you generally don’t have a problem getting a table. One thing to note — the staff was EXTREMELY welcoming and helpful. The guy behind the counter was quick to refill our drinks and set us up on the table. Often times in places like this, walking in the door can give you a cold feeling regardless of the thermostat. Not so here! We were instantly greeted with a smile and a wave and it set my group of four at ease right off the bat. I wish I would have taken some pictures, but just know that it is unadorned, but clean and well-lit. Next time we’re in the area, we will be stopping in for a couple games.

The place is nice, good enough space for each pool table. The coupon is a good deal!

They over charge you here. I went for two hours and they charged me for three. The owner was arguing with me and not helpful. There are other places around the corner that are suitable. They do have nice tables and that is the reason for three stars

So my man and I go here every late Saturday night for some casual fun(trying to at least)…and it’s a pretty laid back atmosphere. There are *PLENTY* of pool tables(even on «busy» nights like Fridays and Saturdays, the most you will wait is up to 15 minutes for a free table). And they have PLENTY of *CUESTICKS* and chalk as well in case you don’t have your own personal Cue Stick like some others that brings theirs. The place is pretty CLEAN with nice, newer looking pool tables. The two guys I most often see working the cash register on different nights are professional for the most part. On busy nights when we’re stuck waiting for a table to be free, I like to order my Beer while I wait…(pre-drinking before getting my a$$ kicked… if you will, haha.) One of the guys hands me my Beer right away while the other dude that works there prefers to send them *after* I get my table. I guess you need to be pretty vocal if you want your drinks right away while you wait for your table and watch a little TV on the couch/love seat next to the main entrance. ***Amenities:*** ~ I think there is about 2 – 3 flat screen TVS in there, mainly playing Sports… sometimes a movie will be playing ~ There IS a JUKEBOX… although I never really bothered to use it ~ There are some Couches/seats if you need to sit down near the entrance & a few couches next to the pool tables in the front/middle of the store ~There is also two small table tops with high chairs next to the entrance and right across from the cash register/mini bar ~ Yes, there is a Men’s and Women’s restroom ***Beer/Food/Soft Drinks:*** I believe they carry Heineken, Bud Light, Tsingtao & Sapporo(Asian Beers), and my *favorite* one of all… STONE IPAs on tap! …After all, I ONLY drink IPAs! =p I think they serve HEF too on tap! As far as snacks, I believe they *mainly* carry CHIPS, your typical brands. Oh, and there is SODA too… I think Coke? No smoking inside but E-Cigs/Vaping is okay(just don’t be blowing into people’s faces, lol). I don’t smoke… I vape but I try to be courteous of others by blowing the opposite way, lol. I haven’t had any complaints so far. ***“Ambience” :*** ~ Typical, bright, office like ceiling lights ~ Typical office, like ceiling(nothing fancy) ~ This place looks like an office, in summary. But CLEAN spot to play, nonetheless! So why not all 5 stars? This place COULD use a little bit more«character» and by CHARACTER… I personally *PREFER* more of a «Lounge» atmosphere with dim lights, maybe nicer looking couches, maybe some ceiling décor to spunk it up a bit. But I’m spoiled… Other than that, THISPLACEISGREAT! They accept card payment, maybe cash also, not sure but probably. This place *IS* located along Convoy area and Asian Owned so don’t be surprised to see many Asians playing inside and mainly EDM playing from the Jukebox! Other than that… check it out!

Not too many places to shoot pool in Clairemont area. It’s nothing spectacular but does the job fine. –Parking is horrible –Just like more billiards places, it takes a little effort to find a straight stick –Speaker wiring for the music was poorly done so musics went on and off last time –Rails on tables are still good –Upside… there is beer. I like beer

I’ve came to this place to play pool about 5 times in the past month and its such a great environment. Although the people at the front desk don’t interact with the customers it’s still very welcoming and also the music playlist is always on point. I’d definitely recommend this place to play a couple rounds of pool!

This place pretty great for Pool Halls in Clairemont Mesa Are. Has around 10 tables and tables are well maintained. There’s a bar at the entrance for foods and drinks. I have been here plenty of times and haven’t struggled to find an open table.

Nice and simple pool hall. They have two 9′ Diamond tables along with about eight more 9 footers and four 7 footers. Clean and simple. Great place to practice.

Stopped in on a weekday at lunch time and had a great experience. High quality tables and above average house cues. There are plenty of seven foot Diamond tables and one snooker table. I appreciate that this is more of a pool hall than a bar and although there is a limited on tap beer selection and food/snack selection, the prices and choices are good. This will be my preferred spot for shooting pool in the area. Anyone want a game?

Been here a few times & it’s a great place to play some pool with some buddies. The prices aren’t bad at all. you can use the Unilocal check in discount to save some money. My friends and I came here an hour before closing time and it was chill. We were the only ones there at that time on a Wednesday night. Oh and you are allowed to vape there as well. So that’s a plus. They have a lot of pool tables so everyone can play & there’s a lot space. And there’s couches to just relax and chill. Whenever I have an urge to play pool, I’ll be coming back here!

Taiwanese-owned Billiard Place: they have unique style of games I’ve never seen. I usually just stick with the regular 8-ball billiard. They have good beer sometimes. Clean tables. Price is okay($ 16 an hour from what I remember for the 8-ball tables). Music is okay.(I don’t know how to review Billiard places so this is the best thing I can come up with). Ample parking.

Generally a good place to shoot pool and chill with your friends. SETTING: Big parking lot. Plentiful of parking spaces. Lots of tables spaced out evenly. Consists of a bar with only draft beers, shakes, and drinks. $ 6/hour for single player table or $ 12/hour for group table $ 10 is usually the average price per hour in San Diego, so this place is a tiny bit pricier Mix hip hop/korean jams. Vibe here is chill, a little bit boring. But good news is that they are never over crowded. Maybe 50% full at the max. Owner is friendly and customer service is good. They gave us a handful of chalk which was good. A little bit skeptical about the tables/sticks. Either one of them is uneven.

This is a really cool pool hall! Plenty of tables in very good condition, clean, organized set up, and even a pro-level snooker table! I came here with some friends on a Wednesday night, and we were able to find an available pool table easily after learning a little bit about the joys and trials of playing snooker. Just after one night, I’m hooked! :D No parking problems, as it’s at one end of Convoy and not in a lot surrounded by a bunch of restaurants. They also offer some tasty sounding snacks and drinks– both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Cash and credit card accepted. Not smoky! Good times! Tip– 20% off for Unilocal users! Score!
