My Boys & Me Window Washing

This is the second time we have had them do our windows and we will certainly hire them again. Professional, friendly, experienced, efficient and very reasonable rates — what more can you ask for!

Stay away! My experience with these window washers was one I would like to forget, but I can’t because I now have a large gouge in my new wood floors as a constant reminder. They came in, seemed like nice enough guys but that was where my good experience ended. I was in the kitchen with my kids and heard a very loud crashing sound. I ran into my living room to discover one of the window washers on his back and the very tall ladder across my floor. Thank god this kid was not hurt. He jumped right up (again, thank god) and that is when I noticed that he had put soft cloths under the feet of the ladder to keep it from scratching the floor. Now I am not a professional window washer but even I know that cloth on a wood floor is slippery. The owner had heard the crash from outside and came running in. After seeing the damage he let me know that I could «buy putty» and a «pen» and fill in the hole of my exotic wood floor. My husband and I had spent over a year saving for these floors so for the owner of the «professional» window washing business to tell me to put putty and color my floors with a pen was insulting. In the end he charged me $ 85 instead of $ 110. I foolishly paid because I could not wait for them to leave. I may not be writing this review had the situation been handled in a more professional way. For instance, «we are sorry… this window washing is on us.» Or «let us send someone out to estimate the damage and we will come to a reasonable agreement.» Maybe even just a follow up call. I’ll let you decide if it worth it but I will NEVER have these guys over to my house again.

They’re trustworthy, reasonably priced, provide a 7 day rain guarantee and if I need something extra (a huge mirror in my living room for instance) they add it on with a smile. I’ve referred them to several friends and family members, all of whom have praised their service. They’re the real deal.
