Stay away from the Salad. The chicken is old and the dressing is hidden valley ranch in a bottle. The veggie quesadilla is pretty good and their chipotle sauce is good.

Unfortunately, working at Coronado base has its downfalls when it comes to relying solely on a Moody’s food truck when you forget your lunch at home. I’ve found hair in my food multiple times, the prices change daily, and they don’t honor the free purchase with no receipt. The food is made so quickly that the quality suffers dramatically, and the prices are outrageous for what is offered. For a watermelon cup with a lime is $ 4.00, a drink and chips too you say?! Now you’re pushing $ 8.00 for a disgraceful snack. I’ll never eat at the food truck again. I just ordered a potato, egg, and cheese burrito with an extra long hair and undercooked eggs… Yum… Stay away from these if you can, your body will thank you later. And so will your wallet.

The female food truck driver is disrespectful, and made a point to stop her vehicle and yell at me for pretty much being in her way, when she was in a rush to leave a parking lot. This is a real turn off, when you are a driving advertisement for your product.

Carnitas were delish! The meat was grilled to perfection and plentiful. Not a fan of the green sauce they used it was runny and tasted like mayo. Nachos were amazing. Chips are homemade not out the bag. Would definitely give this truck another try.

I was just driving behind the Moody’s truck in downtown San Diego and we both stopped at a light. There was a guy standing in the road with a sign that said he was hungry. Next thing I saw was the person in the Moody’s truck handing a fresh burrito to the guy in the road. It is very heartwarming to see random acts of kindness like this and makes me want to seek this truck out when I am working around SD.

Today, Moody’s provided 50 local high school students with a tour of their facilities. These students, interested in starting a food truck business of their own, were not only warmly welcomed, but treated to a wonderful experience by the owner Geary, who informed students about the array of services offered at Moody’s. Geary took the time out of his busy day to provide this opportunity for students. As we learn more about business, it is clear that one of the greatest business practices is how well you treat your customers. From our experience today, the customer service provided by Moody’s is exceptional. We hope to have the opportunity to continue working with them.

The greasiest burrito I’ve ever had and every bite was DELICIOUS. Guacamole with avocado bits and pico de gallo to compliment the burrito of course but fresher than your average burrito at some fresh mex restaurant. Their lunch truck is so convenient for me because they park right in front of my work at the beginning of my lunch hour. I have yet to try the breakfast burrito, I’m sure it will be tasty too. YUM I’m a fan.
