Monterey Villa Apartments

I have lived here for 2+ years and I really enjoy this complex. This was actually my first renting experience, (I own my previous home out of state) so I was definitely nervous at first but I have to say I have been impressed with how quickly the maintenance responds to issues and how friendly the property managers are. The property manager also lives on site which I think makes a huge difference. Also, most of the tenants are long time renters so there is a solid community feel here. There are several children as the previous reviewer mentioned but not many (5 maybe?) and the planes would be the only downside but if you live in Point Loma, you will experience the plane noise in most locations. The upside is that Point Loma is a great location and this apartment complex is walkable to most things including the local YMCA, grocery stores, pizza, etc. I also like having a gated complex, I feel safe and my family does also. There is also the option to have a garage which is a plus– otherwise there is street parking which is limited. My suggestion to anyone looking to rent here, look into getting a landline because cell reception in Point Loma is always hit or miss.

soooo loud like a thousand kids everyday in the pool screaming there heads off between them and the planes you will never get peace and quite and not to mention another new manager with new rules… geez
