I’m very particular about who cuts my hair since I’m always afraid a new person will not give me the cut I am looking for. I was so happy that Caitlin, who used to cut my hair when I lived in OC, had moved here and booked an appointment for a trim and colored streaks. As always was the case in the past, she was friendly and did exactly what I wanted. I’m sure the rest of the staff is also great, but since I cannot speak from firsthand experience with them, I highly recommend Caitlin for your hair cutting and styling needs. She’s awesome! The atmosphere of the salon is also quite nice and well-​lit. I will definitely be returning for all my future hair needs.

Amee Rocks!!! I went to see Amee Gould at Mona Lizzy’s on a recommendation from a friend. To say I was impressed was a understatement. She was extremely friendly and took time with me. The haircut was without exaggeration the best of my life. My jaw literally dropped. I didn’t think my hair could ever look that good. She matched the style I wanted and exceeded what I thought was possible. I had to give her 2 hugs afterwards… and that isn’t like me. I was transformed. Worth a drive from 75 miles + for a haircut. I have a place for life. Thank you AMEE !!

My son attends art class with Miss Lizzy at his preschool. He loves it and so do I, because we get some pretty amazing art from our kiddo. He’s learned about color wheels, symmetry, and many other art concepts and best of all, he’s having fun doing it. I am frequently asked ‘Hey mom, is it an art class day at school?’, which is possibly the best review there is!

I heard about Mona Lizzy’s through a friend and recently took a sewing class here. The class was a 30 minute circle skirt class. I am a novice sewer and don’t even own my own machine, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. What I got was a really well organized, fun and easy class which resulted in a beautiful skirt which I now know how to make on my own. Lizzy had several sewing machines to loan out to students, and took the time to teach me how to use it. She’s patient and a very good teacher. The class was very relaxed and fun and I look forward to taking more classes at Lizzy’s studio.

Lizzy’s art services are one of a kind. What something special or unique?! She is your lady. Give her an idea and she runs with it. She recently completed a scrapbook for my husband’s 40th birthday and it was amazing. She was able to personalize the gift while still making it creative and fun. We have also used Lizzy for a craft and cocktail night. She came to our friend’s house and we enjoyed learning to etch glass while enjoying some drinks with friends. It was a total hit. I will continue to use her services and she comes highly recommended.

Lizzy is one of the very few stylists who can understand my curly hair! My haircut with her was both an educational & fun experience! She’s very knowledgeable & thoughtful about her work. She assured me that what I thought was hair loss is actually new hair growth after pregnancy. So much better! Her prices are very affordable too. Not only will I be back, but I also want to be lizzy’s friend :)

Ms. Lizzy (as the kids call her) or Liz is a fantastic art teacher for kids of all ages. My daughter took her class at Preschool and I was always amazed how she was able to incorporate basic art principals and elements into the lessons for the kids — and how much they remembered it! She also so creative with her use of recycled material.
For older children she really steps it up and offers such informative and fun classes that go far beyond just teaching an art project — but really study art practices, their history and impact to our society. Her enthusiasm to teach the kids and creative nature are very inspiring!
Oh — and she’s super awesome at cutting hair too — she gave my daughter the cutest pixie haircut that all the moms love!

I love my hair. I found Lizzy about 5 years ago. She is magic with hair. I actually get a lot of comments on how great my hair looks. I hate spending time on hair and she knew this and gave me the best hair cut and highlights for me. My kids see her too. My son has very difficult hair to cut and she does an amazing job. ?He looks good at all stages, just cut, growing, or even ready for a cut. My daughter loves how Lizzy does her hair. My daughter also was introduced to sewing with Lizzy. She loves to sew, now. She even has her own machine. I could go on and on. Lizzy is fantastic!
