Mighty Maid Service

I purchased a groupon deep cleaning from this company a while back. The lady who came to our place was very friendly, however it took her quite a while to originally get back to me about setting up an appointment.
When we were finally able to set a day, I was quite underwhelmed by her work. There was nothing «deep cleaning» about it at all. She cleaned the floors and counters just like any other service could provide. But with the money I paid, I was really hoping she would at least clean a bit behind the furniture to get some of the tough spots where lots of dust hides.
Our house is far from dirty so I expected a majority of her time to be spent really getting into the details (which she had more than enough time to do). I hired another professional team two months earlier (wish I could remember the name) who did so much more at just ¹⁄₃ of the price.
Needless to say I did a bunch of my own cleaning once she left.
So as a whole this service is pretty pricey for the small amount of cleaning done, and unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend it at all unless you had no other options.

my husband bought a Groupon for me to have our house cleaned by Mighty Maids. I was at work when then cleaned and came home to a wonderful, clean home and no chemical smells.
found out she loves to clean windows too so will be emailing her when the rains are over to come back and do our windows.
Also plan to have her come at least once/​month for cleaning as I have injured my back, work full time and no longer want to spend my weekends cleaning.
My husband was home during their cleaning time and was very impressed with their efficiency and work ethics. He loved being able to «communicate» with Maggie.

I was introduced to Mighty Maid Service via Groupon. I usually am skeptical of things I find on Groupon because businesses are always trying to make money and not offer quality products or services in return. I decided to go with Mighty Maid because there were 2 reviews already written here on Unilocal — and the reviews were descriptive. It didn’t appear to be random Unilocalers creating accounts just to write 1 or 2 good reviews for businesses.
I purchased a Two Hour Deep Housecleaning Session on Groupon and then paid for an extra hour of service as my apartment was pretty dusty and filled with dog hair (all over the place).
Maggie, the business owner, was easy to work with to schedule the appointment. She sent Lexi to clean my apartment. Upon arrival (when Lexi was circling around my apartment complex looking for visitors parking), I received a text from Maggi stating that Lexi had arrived. «She’s 6’1 — You can’t miss her.» Lucky enough — Lexi was easy to meet and greet. A little intimidating at first glance because of the height (and she’s got muscles too!)… but very friendly. Lexi cleaned the crap out of my bathroom (literally)! Apparently, San Diego has very hard water — and she was able to scrub everything off in the shower. Lexi was also good with my dog — a friendly and intimidating looking pitbull.
At the end of the cleaning, we agreed on a monthly rate. I’ll gladly hand over toilet cleaning duties to someone else. I’m already signed up for my September cleaning the last week of the month!
Best of all — family owned business. Best of luck (although I don’t think they will actually need it).

I had my house cleaned by Alexia, it was incredible! My house has never been so clean, not even the day I moved in. She was very thorough with her cleaning, and was conscious of using baby and pet friendly chemicals in my home. When I walk into a room it still has the freshly cleaned smell and look.

Maggie is excellent to work with — when I called to describe my cleaning needs I could tell right away I found the right place. She sent Audra, who arrived right on time, and whom I felt instantly comfortable with having in my home. She was very attentive to my specific deep clean priorities — everything looked a thousand times better once she was done! I highly recommend Mighty Maids!
