Michael & Kate are amazing photographers! They not only photographed my wedding, but also my sister’s wedding too. They bring so much to the table being a husband and wife team — they are totally in sync and have such sweet, calming and loving personalities. Having them photograph my wedding was one of the best choices we made for the wedding! The shots are absolutely gorgeous and they were able to capture exactly what we wanted. After we received our photos back, there were a few photos that I wanted to have special editing done to and Kate was happy to do it and did it very quickly too! The requests I had for those special edits were so specific and the results came out amazing! We are so happy with the results and will absolutely recommend them to everyone we know in the future. :)

My wife and I have used Michael & Kate Photography the last two years for their «mini-​sessions» that they offer before the holidays. We use these photos for our holiday cards and they’re always such a big hit with our friends and family!
Last year we met them at Balboa Park and captured the first professional photos of my wife, our dog and myself after getting married earlier that year. and they turned out spectacular! This year, Mike & Kate chose to do the photo-​shoot at Windansea beach in La Jolla and the photos came out even better! My boss even commented on how I won the best holiday card award in my office this year! This year’s photo session turned out so great, we purchased additional photos because there were so many good ones to choose from.
They’re always so patient and helpful throughout the photo-​shoot, even when our dog isn’t exactly cooperating. They choose only the best locations throughout San Diego, and Kate has such a great-​eye for all the right angles that have made our photos incredibly unique.

I used used Michael and Kate Photography to shoot some photos for my website. Kate really took the time to understand the style of photography that I was looking for. I am usually not comfortable in front of the camera, however Kate & Mike made it seem like a walk in the park. I am really impressed with the quality of photos that they produced. This summer we decided to get some family photos taken on the beach while we were vacationing in San Diego. After looking at several websites I reached out to Kate. She was prompt in her response and was very reasonably priced. She met us where we were staying and truly made if fun for all of us– even our kids who were dreading it. Now the kids are asking if we can do it again next year! The images she took of us exceeded our expectations. I have already recommended her to my friends and family. We couldn’t have had a better experience or results!

After our Daughter Poppy was born, we wanted to get photos taken while the grandparents were visiting. Mike and Kate came to our home and were on hand for hours setting up, chatting it up and making everyone feel so comfortable that every shot was perfect. Their professionalism and ability to capture that perfect moment made for a most spectacular session.
