Meghen Lord Hair and Make Up Professional

Meghen is the absolute best stylist/​colorist I have been to!!! She will not damage your hair & can color your hair any color you can imagine! I don’t know what I would do without her. To top it off, Meghen is very friendly & knowledgeable. This girl knows what she is doing. I will never go to anyone else but her. She is a hair goddess!

I am so glad that I was introduced to Meghen. Hands down the best! Been with her for 2 years now. Love how she cuts and styles my hair. I took in my daughter (8yrs old) today for her very first hair cut and Meghen was wonderful with her. Meghen not only made her feel comfortable but also made sure the experience was amazing. This beautiful lady is incredible! She’s extremely knowledgable, savvy, and knows her stuff. Highly recommend her!

Dude. This girl!!! So, I’ve stepped over to the realm of «fantasy colors». Went to a girl in OB (because that seems like the most obvious place to go if you want funky hair, right?!) and she was ok, but meh. Then, I found an awesome chick, but she moved up north. I was freaking. Who else can handle my turquoise and black locks?! I saw an older woman at a boat show with one of the hottest haircuts I’ve ever seen, stepped out of my comfort zone and asked her who did her hair. She told me, but I spelled her name wrong and almost couldn’t find her! Once I did, I made an appt. Meghen redid everything and made my awesome hair even more epic. That wasn’t even the moment I fell in love with her, though! So, being the anticommital girl that I am, I wanted to go turquoise and black to just purple. Having slammed blue/​green into my hair for so long, that ish was NOT coming out. We did color remover and bleach washes that should have left my hair feeling like a sponge. She used a ton of this oleoplex stuff (sp?!) that made my hair still silky. What?!? Then, the color still wouldn’t pull out. Meghen knows the color wheel crap so well that she put copper/​red in to counteract the blue /​green. You guys. This color was NOT pretty. I was scared. lol. Then, she mixed the most epic purple ever and gave me the exact color that was in the pic I sent her in ONE appt! And my hairs didn’t fry! I’ve never come across a stylist with this girl’s skill. For real! I love that she is doing so much fantasy color now and still makes the older ladies look super hot and modern!

People like Meghen are so needed, she’s a gem I can’t believe she hasn’t been taken by a celebrity or some other big personality in LA yet.
She is very knowledgable about how to take care of your hair, and loves to educate her costumers. Even better, she can help you achieve almost any cool you want. I dyed my hair for the first time, and went purple! My hair suffered no damage and feels like a silk, amazing.
I love her, I’m never letting other stylist touch my hair again. And her prices are out of this world, very affordable.

I moved to San Diego about three years ago and had only one hair stylist — Meghen — the entire time. Meghen is awesome and always does a fantastic job! She is very friendly and is very in tune with the latest styles and trends. Do yourself a favor and check Meghen out when you need to get your hair taken care of!

I love Meghen! She has been doing my hair for about 3 years. We’ve tried everything from really conservative styles to fantasy color. She is always up for experimenting, but definitely let’s you know when a color won’t work with your hair. She also has no problem going back to correct something that might not have turned out perfect. She’s super easy to talk to and you’ll feel like you’ve always known her. I send ALL my friends to her, and they all love her too.

Meghen is great. I am so happy I was referred to her. She did an awesome job on my sons dreads and is a versatile artist! She really took the time and care for his hair. I am looking forward to the rest of the family getting their hair done by Meghen!!!

I was bouncing around from stylist to stylist searching for someone who does great short cuts, and then I found Meghen who has been taking care of my hair for a couple years now. Every couple months she hooks me up with a cute razor pixie cut and natural looking highlights. She is super sweet and extremely talented and obviously enjoys what she does! I recommend! :)

I moved to San Diego two years ago leaving behind my long time hair stylist. I happened upon Meghen walking my dog who needed water and she graciously accepted. I ended up booking an appointment because I really loved her caring and laid back demeanor. I was very nervous because I have VERY difficult hair. It is dry and curly and I love wearing it straight especially after a hair appointment. I want my blow out to last for a week. She told me she has worked with ethnic hair (I’m white but have very curly and stubborn hair) and I would not be disappointed. I told her I doubt it. Sure enough she gave me a great hair cut and I walked out with perfect color, cut and silky smooth blow out all with out a flat iron!!! That is unheard of with my hair. Even my favorite stylist had to smooth my hair! Not Meghen. She left the salon where I found her and I was happy to track her down and could not be happier with my new hair guru. She is the best and totally affordable.

I have been going to Meghen for years and think she is just amazing at her job. She really listens to me and what I am telling her I want and executes my color and cuts perfectly. She is also friendly and easy going and so it makes sitting in her chair a very pleasant experience. She recently moved to this private setting off Midway in which she shares a salon with only one other stylist and you can book directly online with her with a super easy to use website. She takes pride in what she does and it definitely shows. If you go into see Meghen, I promise that you will be so happy you did!

Meghen is the best stylist I have ever had. She does an amazing job everytime and really cares about the health of your hair. Just in 2 visits and some new at home regimens my hair is longer and feels stronger. Plus she is super fun and comfortable to be around. I feel so lucky to have found a stylist like her.
