one star for the people at the first window because they’re always nice. other than that this is probably the worst McDonald’s in San Diego. you have to pull over and wait in the parking so often — I’m not ordering 2937381 cheeseburgers, so what is the deal? they always have gross hard fries and will NOT give you ketchup unless you catch them before they slam the window closed. buns are hard, burgers are messy, fried stuff is cold or overdone. like I get that this is just fast food but they don’t even meet the super low fast food bar.

Service totally sucked. I said that I wanted one McFlurry and the manager gave me two and made me pay for both. Poor listening skills and he also got mad at me for complaining and made me get out of the building.

This McDonald is by far the ¡worst! I been too, the orange drink McDonald is famous for is watered down an it’s been that way for more than 10 years, so N u know this maaaaaannnn! I drive all the way to the Spring Valley McDonald’s to get a full flavored orange drink with my meal.

I stopped in this particular McDonald’s to try one of their new«Craft» burgers that they have recently advertising. I went for the Maple Bacon Dijon Craft Burger combo on a Artisan Roll. The burger came with maple smoked bacon, white cheddar, grilled onions, a Dijon sauce, lettuce, and of course the 4 oz beef patty. The burger was actually pretty tasty with its mêlée of ingredients. My disappointment with the burger was over size but especially the beef patty. I guess there certainly is some shrinking during the cooking process. I pretty much finished the Craft burger in four bites. However, like I said, it tasted pretty good for a fast food chain. I liked the light Dijon sauce. It flavor did not overwhelm but let you know it was there. The bacon, although it was not as crispy as it should of been, but it did taste good and had a slight maple flavor. The beef patty was decent, the white cheddar good, and the grilled onions were very good. I was a fan of the artisan roll. It was semi sweet, with a very moist center, and held up well to the burger’s ingredients. Honestly, it was just a good tasting bun. Service was very friendly at the counter and I appreciated it, when they brought my food out to me. By the way, those fries have not lost their touch. Good stuff…

Update: Still way below average. 1) slowest drive thru in the world, okay just city. 2) sundae machine is down this time a) once you’re in the drive-thru, you’re stuck until everyone before you is served even though you’re not ordering anything else.

Why do I even try again with this place??! WRONGWRONGWRONG! Nasty, bad. I always get cold food. Soggy French fries. Stale meat. Hard old cookies. Soda with no ice. They give you old food that’s been sitting because their drive thru is slow! You’ll be there atleast for 30 minutes. There’s always something wrong here, not just the food but the staff here are definitely not here to help. They do not care. Why is this place still in business? Honestly. Worst McDonald’s ever.

This mc Donald’s is alright. They make messy burgers and sometimes burn the bread to the burger loll. They always make u park in front for your food and there ice cream and shake machine is always broken. It’s the only two story mc Donald’s I know of which kinda makes its cool haha

So nice! The service of this McDonald’s was great! The food was served hot and fresh, But the fries lacked salt. The restrooms were nice, but the upstairs Men’s restroom did not have any soap, Replacing the soap needs to happen! I ended up asking someone walking out of the ladies restroom to get soap then I had to go back to the Men’s restroom to wash my hands and dry. The place was clean, period. There were no bugs or unwashed tables in sight! We got our food fast, what a big plus! So overall this great restaurant, but is has a few things that need to fixed. I recommend you to eat here during the daytime.

Very bad, bad customer service in their drive-thru. Order-taker was not«in the mood» to provide a quality customer service. I ordered two Happy Meals for my grandkids. Guess what? The order-taker and the cashier decided to piss me off more by not giving the chocolate drink and the bbq sauce before I drove away. This maybe just this shift that needs to go learn how to provide not just great customer service but also an efficient one, no matter who their customers are and no matter what time of the day it is. Today, you earn one star from me and my grandkids. To the store manager: I’d suggest you monitor your order-taker, since they are the first ones to make contact with your customers.

I wish Mcdonalds would give you their best but reality is; this multi billion company offers their workers close to nothing in terms of pay, training, and career. Disgruntled workers in turn give you bad customer service and they could care less about your food. Just like my refried crunchy French fries.

i never thought i’d have to wait half an hour for my order. the staff was so busy concentrating on the drive-thru customers that the inside customers were very little to no priority at all. probably should’ve gone to the one in spring valley instead…

Service here is not so good and it’s not that clean either. I would rather drive 10 minutes than down the block for McDonald’s.

Do you have a low tolerance for unsupervised, obnoxious teens and kids at their worst? Then I suggest to NOT eat inside within the late lunch hours(12 – 1 pm) of the weekday and avoid the crowds of Morse, Bell, etc, kids that come hang out here. The lines(or in my case the ONLY line) will be full, and kids will use each other to cut in line, and it’ll take a good 15 minutes until you get to make your order. Until then, you can enjoy the high-school cafeteria noise and behavior, like what I experienced today, when some girl dropped a frappé all over herself, and the entire bottom floor erupted into a ear-shattering«OOOOHHHHH» at the girl’s despair. I understand that this is just McDonalds, the armpit of fast food places, but it is still a restaurant, and I hope management will figure out something to control these kids’ behavior, or else they risk everyone else’s experience.

A two story McD’s? We just had to try… Well, now that we have, I can pass. I truly feel that if someone doing a sociology study on the future of our youth, and had to stop in here to get a bite to eat, they would definitely write that whole generation off as a waste. All the sagging pants… really? You need to show your underwear in public? All the kids with the sideways hats, hard looks, and of course, bad attitude. Whats with all the seats taken upstairs by hoodlums not eating food, all the while the families coming up the stairs have no where to sit? So… you can come and hang out all day half naked, taking up all the seats, talking rude and using explicitives while my kids are trying to figure out how they are going to eat their kids meals standing. Yeah, this McD’s sucks. I feel so sad for the future when I had to see the youth of today. So sad. So why is it McD’s who gets the bad review — easy, crowd control. They can control who sits and eats in their establishment, but they dont. They can control the vulgar language, but they dont. They accept it, and because they accept it — I give them 1 star. Maybe the management sags their pants too…

I’d give this place two stars, but i’ll ad a third star for nostalgic reasons. This is the neighborhood kick it spot when walking home from junior high. In High School it became one of the spots you ditched too if you wanted to grab some breakfast. I have grown up with this place and it basically has been one of the only McDonand’s I ever go to now. I miss the old McGriddles. They were so good. The Mac snack wraps are bomb. My brother misses the bucket of fries they use to have. Oh the years before Super Size Me. Does anyone remember the old days of the 29cents cheeseburgers?! Regardless, remember this. This is the worse food for our bodies. Go watch the movie Food Inc.
