GREAT birria here! You wouldn’t expect it at a seafood cart, but it’s there! Service is a little slow, but other than that, delicious!

This place is usually always open and the staff is great. The food prices are not bad and the menu selection is large but not crazy large. Food does take a while to come out but at least you know they are making fresh every single time. I don’t believe they take credit so take some cash.

This is my GO-TO lunche truck after I wash or vacuum my car. It’s a decent lil’ mariscos spot but only worth eating at if you live nearby the greater South Bay San Diego areas of Otay, Imperial Beach, Palm City, Nestor, Sidro, or Del Sol parts of town. I practically live on the border by the beach and find myself often in this neighborhood visiting several of the businesses or handling some other business of mine. Just a head’s up but the shrimp inside the shrimp burrito was breaded and had only about 6 pieces so I am staying away from any of their burritos. I can only imagine that they bread the fish inside of the fish burrito as well, and I don’t care for the taste that much of breaded seafood. I could care less about my diet or health, let’s be honest, but i prefer grilled seafood AKA a la plancha over mariscos frito. The fish tacos hit the spot though and sometimes they give free consome but not all the times. If they had parked anywhere else than the coin wash, I might not drive the extra distance to go eat there so hopefully they stay there for next few years.

Yes, I too was very surprised that Mariscos Las Sirena wasn’t included in «catering trucks» category but glad to find at least one review. I have been a regular customer for what seems like a year now and not just when I use the car wash they share the property with.(great car wash by the way for $ 3. or less) Usually I get the fish soup medium to go($ 3.) and a fish taco($ 1.) both are delicious. The soup is full of large tasty pieces of white fish and seasoned just write. The tacos have larger pieces of fish compared to some. Both taste as good as anything I’ve tried in Baja. Friendly staff, often times music while you wait under a canopy. 680 Picador Blvd. San Diego 92154(a bit to the South of Vista) (619) 200‑2630 is the # In a word. YUMMY!!!

I can’t believe they weren’t on the map yet! They’re located by giant pizza place on the corner of Beyer Way and Picador Blvd in the same parking lot as the car wash. You’re a true resident of the area if you understand what I’m talking about. Fish tacos are affordable and tasty. Their product is fresh and you can tell they pay great attention to the quality of their food. My favorite is their ceviche! It’s under the menu as «tostada»… make sure you try the shrimp … or the fish & shrimp… or fish, shrimo & octopus. You cannot lose with either one, especially when it’s only 3 to 4 bucks. Order it to go and they pack a big styrofoam cup full of the ceviche and also give you a couple tostada shells. Mmm, mmm, good!
