Came here for lunch and had the Tuna with green apple and the Chicken pesto. Both were awesome! The atmosphere is pretty relaxing and perfect for a delicious lunch, yet not pricy.

Me and my co-workers work in an office down the street from Lunch Bunch and since we found it we eat here at least twice a week. I come a little more often because as a vegetarian they have options for me that are delicious. Try the lentil soup! Sometimes I’ll order one for lunch and take one to go and I have it for dinner with brown rice. The owners are very pleasant and the atmosphere is relaxing with options to eat inside or outside on beautiful days. I highly recommend!

A hidden gem in a crowded business park. The lentil soup is the best I’ve ever had. The specials tend to be my choice, whether it is teriyaki chicken, curry, middle eastern rice dishes or whatever they have for the day. All the food tastes like it is home made, and healthy. There is usually a vegetarian rendition of the daily special available. I could eat here every day happily.

Nice food, but once I asked more than one question, the cashier suggested me to go back in line and read the menu again. Didn’t like this idea…

My go to sandwich place to get something quick and delicious. Always fresh and friendly service. Great soup and sandwich options and chicken pesto is my favorite!

A great lil spot that is conveniently tucked across the street from where I work, we commonly stop by to enjoy the great selection of sandwiches. My personal favorite is torn between the fittingly named«Sorrento sub» and the«beef pot roast». The soups are great too! Enjoy

The setup of the restaurant is a bit weird, and as I walked in I was pretty confused where to order. The owner was a very sweet man, and the food was very good for a fair price! I would definitely recommend the panini’s and sides as they taste fresh and are a great quick lunch to grab!

This place has me coming back because of their paninis and potato salad. I’m a crunchy-bread-lover, and I always crave their panini bread. The staff is friendly, and parking is never a problem.

Went in to have coffee and a meeting and was told that I could not use a table unless I bought breakfast. The place was totally empty. The owner said he did not want me there unless I was eating. Horrible business practice. I will never go there again and my office about 100 yards away.

I go here for lunch every now and then and the place has some of the best sandwiches i have ever eaten. My favourite is the Santa Fe Chicken. The service is quick and the host is polite and friendly.. Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quick but quality lunch.

Had lunch here with my Dad today. We were looking for a good, quick, reasonably priced place to eat and this place was pretty close to my work. I had the California BLT with Turkey and my Dad had a turkey sandwich as well. My Dad also asked about the potato cakes they had in the cooler display but decided we’d try that next time. After we ordered our meal and sat down the owner actually brought us the potato cakes we had wondered about. That was a really nice touch! The food was excellent and the owner was a very nice hospitable person, will definitely return in the future, especially since it is really close to work for me.

Best lentil soup in the Western Hemisphere. Other favorites: Teriyaki Chicken, Curry Chicken and Carrot Ginger Soup. I really like the healthy choices. They have an outdoor patio, too. It’s a must hang with the Qualcomm and tech ghetto crowds.

Very good sandwiches and daily specials for cheap. Definitely better than the food at Q café. What makes this place great though is the friendly owner. He always has a smile on his face and that sets the atmosphere.

I don’t normally write Unilocal reviews, but for some reason I felt like giving these guys a review. It’s a fairly small restaurant conveniently located right in the middle of Qualcomm campus. The food was great for the price you pay(usually around $ 7 – 8 for a sandwich) and they were so nice! Definitely worth trying if you’re looking for somewhere new for lunch.

This place is okay nothing really to brag about. Thought the portion didn’t really live up to the price they were asking for. Ordered the Sante Fe Chicken and there were barely any avocado in my sandwich. I love avocados but when you barely put any one that’s not cool. This place is hidden really well at the back of come office buildings, had some initial trouble locating the place even with the sign, it just pointed at the parking lot which wasn’t too clear. Probably just a one time visit for me.

This is a great lunch spot if you work around the area. The owner is always so nice and there are specials daily. I usually bring my lunch to work but when I don’t I usually walk over here. It’s really hard to tell when this place will be crowded. Today it wasn’t and service was pretty quick. On busier days the Quacolmm peeps like to flock over in groups, so usually you’ll see a few people come in to pick up their phone orders. There’s a good amount of tables inside and out. On a nice day, I enjoy sitting outside, all their tables have umbrellas and seat about 4 comfortably. A few things I have tried: Chicken Wrap(this used to be a Thurs special but I haven’t seen it lately) — this is served warm with a sweet sesame sauce on the side. Good if you’re in a wrap kinda mood, there’s a good amount of chicken/rice/veggie ratio in this thing. Chicken over Rice — Friday special. This is actually one of my favorite dishes here and I have not had it anywhere else before. The rice is a medley of rice, of course, raisins, nuts and with a topping of chicken. If you’re feeling adventurous, I recommend this dish. Turkey Panini — always comes out fresh and I love the sesame bread, crunchy on the outside but soft to hold everything on the inside. The spread is delicious and compliments the panini as a whole. Panini’s come with a side fruit, potato salad or pasta salad. Not a fan of the pasta salad, a little too oily for me. Cute little pastries available and soothing French coffee type music always playing in he background.

Had the breakfast burrito with sausage and everything tasted right! Not to mention the employees working there are incredibly nice. I definitely see myself becoming a regular

Visited this restaurant today. First time in San Diego and used Unilocal to find a lunch spot near my hotel. Great recommendation! Loved the Mediterranean Salad. The homemade dressing was light and perfect for the sunny afternoon outside. It was not as cheap as I had expected but still a great deal for such a fresh salad. The owner is delightful. Great place to visit if you are nearby doing business.

The new owners are SO sweet. It’s a small business, so they wont have a ginormous variety, but what they have is great quality. If you want a McDonalds type speed this isn’t the place for you. Their soups are absolutely fantastic. I am a soup snob, and I have never been disappointed. My favorites are Chicken Barley and Chicken Noodle. Their salads are beautiful. I highly recommend the Mediterranean. If you have a short lunch break, call in your order in advance and they always have it ready to go for you when you get there. Bottom line: the staff are so friendly, and I always go in when I’m working in the neighborhood. If you want to support small family-run local businesses, this is a great example of how to do that and be rewarded with great food.

3.5 stars and rounding it up to 4 because the owner was very nice to me. Before I say anything else, please read the directions if you have never been to this place and are deciding to try it. DIRECTIONS: As you see, the address is 6450 Luck Blvd, but this 6450 building is actually hidden behind 6440! The mall looks like a regular business area and you won’t expect a restaurant to be there. On top of that, the restaurant does not have any sign(at least not yet), so I recommend you look for the«AFC Vacations» sign which is right next to Lunch Bunch. This picture might help: FOOD: I ordered the Thursdays lunch special which is the wrap. You have the choice of chicken or tofu(I picked chicken because I am a carnivore). They also put rice and veggies in the wrap. Their wrap was lukewarm when it came and it was pretty tasty. I really liked the chicken in it, high quality meat. My only complaint was that there was too little meat in it, but a lot of rice. The wrap also came with a bag of chips. I just realized they don’t have a website and no one has posted any pics of the menu on this Unilocal page yet. I will do that after my next visit. Cheers!
