Lovelace engineering did a fantastic job engineering a four-​story climbing tower at The New Children’s Museum this last fall. Miles was very helpful and generous working on what was a very «interesting» project. Taking the vision from the mind of an artist (who had no prior construction experience) and turning it into a safe and sturdy reality must have been no small task and Lovelace engineering did an amazing job. We’re already talking to them about another multi-​leveled structure for June of 2016!

I’m so pleased with Miles, and I never even got to be a customer. After seeing these reviews on Unilocal I reached out to him for a large beam construction project we’re doing at my house. I showed him some pictures, some technical diagrams, etc, and he explained he was uneasy about the length of one of the spans. That’s all I needed to make my decision to add a post. I offered to pay him for helping me think through it, and he declined. I know where I’m going for my next big project — I really hope I get to actually work with him someday!

I am a Real Estate Agent and I meet Structural Engineers quite a bit with the different properties we encounter. Miles Lovelace met me out a property on short notice to give my client an assessment on the structural integrity after the prior owner did some un-​permitted changes. My biggest hot point is always communication and responsiveness when working with different vendors. Miles not only worked with our tight schedule to come out to the property, he sent us the report within 24 hours, AND he responded PROMPTLY with multiple questions we had after the assessment. Mr Lovelace and his team was referred to me by my architect, IS Architecture. I had a 4 story home on a hill that Lovelace Engineering worked on with great success. It was a complicated job, but their team was extremely communicative, fair price and very respectful when in my home. I am a home owner who is going through the heterogeneous world of construction and remodeling.
Let me share my experience with Miles and his team. My Designer set up a visit site inspection. Miles found out same day he would be 45 minutes late and he let his assistance contacting me 3 hours in advance so I can plan accordingly. I inquired when I should receive his preliminary report letter and he said in 5 days. On the offered day I received it. Once we decided to proceed with formal plans and drawings needed for the project, Miles said that I should have official plans in approximately 3 weeks from they day when he received the information from my designer. He received the required designer’s documents on April 2 and I received the plans on April 22.
Finding professionals with personal integrity, that abide to what they offer and honor their word is priceless in the construction business. At the personal level, Miles is well manner, assertive with his responses and a true gentleman. His report is very professional and clearly his company is known by his reputation of good work and integrity.
