This place is so good! They also have gluten free granola! When I went they had UDI’s brand. Two thumbs up!

Honestly one of the best breakfast places I’ve ever eaten for a healthy and active lifestyle. Visiting San Diego and found this gem in Hillcrest across from Starbucks. The fruit was ripe and every bowl I tried was delicious. Breakfast in a cup was my fave.

Baby Spinach Salad — Chicken is cooked to perfection every single time and the dressing is so tasty! Also, it’s $ 7.50. What a steal. I’ve only had one of their shakes — chocolate/banana flavored? Also amazing.

Acai bowl is tasty. I prefer sorbet style to blended but the blend was still tasty. The toppings were all very good and it was a pretty large portion.

Super yummy place!!! This morning I had the Acai bowl and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had! For lunch I had the Chicken Chipotle Wrap but in a Spanish tortilla! Super delicious as well and comes with chips or fruit. Will be coming here much more often for lunch and breakfast! Yummy place for a healthier option!

Hands down, the best. Prices are awesome, service is friendly, juices are on point, and their loyalty card is a nice touch. Locally owned and operated, this place caters to all, and their hours are awesome, open till 8. I’ve been coming here for the last year, and I have never been disappointed. The Donna is my favorite smoothie and the healthy greens no celery add ginger is my favorite juice.(BTW, they will make you any combo of juice or smoothie that you desire). If you’re into juicing, fasting, cleansing or just like juice and smoothies, this is your new favorite spot.

I LOVE this place! It’s SUPER fresh, fast, decently priced, delicious and most importantly healthy. I’ve tried many of their menu options and nothing has disappointed me. Their sandwiches and salads all taste very fresh and their juices are so tasty. I get the Liv signature smoothie weekly that has kale and spinach and is a very flavorful green smoothie. They also have an amazing Acai«breakfast on the go» smoothie with Acai, strawberries, banana, granola and peanut butter… amazing! And so convenient when you don’t have time to eat an actually Acai bowl. Their juice cleanse is the cheapest I’ve found in San Diego, although the third day’s juice was HORRIBLE. It’s supposed to clear out your system but I couldn’t stomach it. I frequent juice bars around San Diego all the time and you really can’t beat the price on this place for what you get. It’s locally run by really nice guys and absolutely worth a try, if not more.

The service is always friendly. I have been going beyond their smoothies and have been trying their sandwiches. The club is great if you have large appetite. The tuna salad sandwich has very nice flavoring!

Since moving to San Diego, I’ve become obsessed with Acai bowls. I try to grab one for brunch every weekend. However despite the many Acai bowls I’ve tried Liv’s still had the best ones. My boyfriend and I like to drop by here before or after the Hillcrest Farmers Market and split a sandwich, juice(or smoothie), and an Acai Bowl. It’s delicious and everything tastes so fresh! Recently I’ve switched over to the Pitaya Bowl. Why? To me it tastes similar but Pitaya has less natural sugar than Acai, plus I like the bright pink color. Either way, you can’t go wrong. I think I’ve only ever tried one thing on the menu that I was iffy about and it was the«Flu Buster» juice. To be fair I knew it would probably taste pretty bad, but I was sick and I hoped it would perk me up. Well I did feel better but I probably wouldn’t get it again. It’s no fault of Liv’s; I read the ingredients and I still ordered it(for reference it has garlic, ginger, and cayenne). I would definitely recommend dropping by for a fresh meal or just a pick me up! It’s worth a trip down!

I’ve come to LIV about 5 times now since moving to SD and I’ve have had nothing but good experiences. The staff is always friendly and the juices and food is delish. I have tried the Green Lemonade(which is sweet and tart) the pitaya bowl(which is topped w lots of fruit) and the chipotle chicken sandwich and wrap. Both are amazing! So amazing in fact I’ve ate it twice this week alone. You can call your order ahead(which I recommend if you’re in a time crunch) which is convenient. When ordering your sandwich you have an option of chips or fruit, both are good quality. You don’t just get melon, you actually get some pieces of mango, strawberry, melon. I’m so glad we discovered this awesome little place.

Acai Bowl was«OK» the acai texture was REALLY good, the rest was just normal. I wouldnt say that this bowl is exceptional really. The granola is the plain jane kind, they don’t put honey on the fruit, and the coconut is not very plentiful. I eat A LOT of Acai Bowls, the Local Crave, and Lazy Hummingbird are the best I have had. Service was«ok» the guy at the counter was nice but super«rushy rushy» I was ordering, barely finished the last syllable and he said«Is that it?» I was like uhhhh yeh I guess lol. I was hungry thinking about getting a sandwich to split too but I got the impression they were trying to «wrap things up.» Also since there was no honey on the acai bowl over the fruit(I just like a bit not a lot) I went up to the counter and said«hey is it ok if I get a little honey?» he said«bring your bowl here» then before I could stop him he squeezed out a HUGE amount of honey out of this bottle and said«Normally its 50 cents.» ??? Ohhkkay. well i would have paid the 50 cents had they asked. Also my acai bowl was RUINED after that big HUGE globs of honey in my mouth it was so sweet it made me sick. I just threw it away ½ finished… Choco Monkey smoothie was really good!

We have lived at 7th and Robinson(just down the street) for a few years now. We finally decided to come here today for an acai bowl. We typically go to Rum Jungle in Mission Beach for our acai bowls, but decided to give this place a try. One of us got the acai bowl, the other got the new item on the men«Green Liv Smoothie.» The acai bowl had more granola than I am used to in an acai bowl, but not to its detriment; it was delicious. The green Liv was fresh, cold, and delicious. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is inviting; assuming you don’t mind the noise of the blenders inside. If you do, there’s a nice patio outside to soak up some sun. Will definitely be back.

I’ve been coming for the past two years whenever I want something fresh, and I mean FRESH! Best Pitaya Bowl(6.96) in San Diego with an excellent service. The sandwiches are super yummy too, with loads of avo and everything comes in big portions so you could share, but you won’t. Wish they had more locations! Keep it up!

$ 5.95 for 24 oz /$ 4.95 for 20 oz #10: The Popeye(apple, banana, kale, spinach) I substituted apple for beet, and added peanut butter for 50¢. #11: Choco Monkey(peanut butter, chocolate, yogurt, banana) The hubs added kale. We each got a 24 oz. but sharing one would’ve sufficed. Would gladly return to this poppin’ joint!

Liv has a very tasty pitaya bowl. Given the hip location, parking is a pain in the butt but the bowl is worth it. For $ 7.50 you will have a loaded bowl full of fresh fruit. What makes Liv’s bowl stand out? Mango on top is the key. It does take a while to get the bowls made, but it is the highest quality bowl you can get in SD. They also have tasty smoothies and juices that are made with the freshest ingredients. I am excited to try their lunch menu soon.

A night of bad eating, bad drinking usually lands me here the next day. This is my to-go-to when, literally, I have that feeling in my gut. Tsk, tsk, but thank goodness for this place. I’ve had the skin tonic, eye opener, the boss man, and health greens. The skin tonic(13) is probably my favorite out of all I’ve tried. The prices are reasonable at about $ 4 for a small, which is a decent size and usually all I need to bring me revive me from that bloated feeling. If juicing isn’t your thing, they have healthy and delicious sounding sandwiches, smoothies, acai blowls. I’ve been able to pick up some paleo treats here, too, which is pretty cool. It’s relatively a small spot right on University Blvd. I can run in, order my clean, detox drink and off I go feeling a little less gut… ehhh, guilty about what I’ve put in my body.
