Little Saigon San Diego Foundation

I’ve volunteered for this foundation for the past few weeks and I find them to be full of heart.
They really are dedicated to elevating and uplifting the Little Saigon community of City Heights.
They work with the underserved and local high school among many other things.
They put on the annual Lunar New Year Festival at Qualcomm.
Many times when I’m on a team, even in the nonprofit sector, egos and arguments get in the way. So far, I haven’t experienced anything here but kindness. generosity, hard work, team work, gratitude, and heart. It seems that no one is taken for granted or unappreciated for their efforts.
I’m not Vietnamese, but because of their mission and their work ethic, I’m proud to help them out and help them to improve a neglected corner of my San Diego.
