Studio Lacey is a great little gem in Old Town. Lacey creates her own unique silver jewelry on premises, and sells this in addition to the other artisan crafted items that she carries. She specializes in Day of the Dead(Dia de los muertos) jewelry. Many of her items have also been sold at the Mingei. She also has some great nature inspired designs as well, with flowers, turtles, etc. Every piece she creates is an original. I have a «Catrina» piece, and I always get compliments. I would definately buy more if I could afford it! Gorgeous items.(see ) Stop in and check out her amazing pieces, you will not be disappointed. And it won’t hurt that she is right across from Harney Sushi, and just around the corner from Old Town Mexican Café and Zocalo! YUM!

Cool place. Love this kind of stuff. Small and full(gotta be careful as you turn around), with a fun selection of jewelry and art, Dias de los Muertos inspired pieces. Picked up some tin art for my wife. The lady behind the counter was very nice, and even politely humored the lady from Colorado who apparently had not interacted with another human being for a very long time… on and on and on about pretty much everything, just when you thought she was done, off she went on another tangent… was making my head hurt. Enjoyed the shop, will return with my wife when we can.

I love shopping in this store. It is the very first place I think of when I am looking for something special/unusual. In addition to the already great selection of jewelery, Lacey adds to the mix with her own fabulous designs. fyi, her jewelery is not for the timid or faint of heart, you won’t find much there that’s delicate or dainty. I wear her pieces when I want to stand out in the crowd and be noticed. Not much into jewelery? She also stocks a lot of beautiful mexican folkart that I’ve never see on this side of the border. I personally can’t get enough of Our Lady of Guadalupe or the Day of the Dead skeletons. I brave Old Town parking regularly just to visit her shop. It’s worth it!
