La Taquiza Catering

These guys were so great. The food was amazing. They were very polite. Came in, set up, served the party and when they left it was as if they hadn’t even been there. On top of that the cost was very reasonable.

Do not use them for wedding catering!
We had huge contract issues with them, resulting in us paying hundreds of dollars more than expected. They initially agreed to abide by our venues kitchen rules, but then backed out and would not abide by those rules. Unprofessional.
The food was great!!! Seriously, it was great. They would be perfect for a backyard bbq or something similar, but not for a wedding.

I used La Taquiza Catering for a Holiday lunch on December 24^th. They did an AMAZING job! we had 200 people and some of them were able to get up for 2nds. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. We will for sure be booking them again next year!

I used La Taquiza Catering for a client’s Grand Opening Party and we were very impressed with them.
Initially, they were very helpful on the phone. We went with them because they had a good price and they also have insurance and a health permit, which is a big plus when you are serving to the public.
Another impressive part of working with them is that we doubled our order at the last minute and they were able to accommodate us (from 50 people to 100 people).
On the day of the event they arrived on time, setup on time and served for the full length of time. They were very warm and inviting to our customers and encouraged them to go into the store to check it out when they are done eating.
We had pollo asado (chicken) tacos, carne asada (beef) tacos, adobado (pork) tacos, quesadillas, beans and rice along with all of the fixing.
My only small complaint is that they didn’t have extra foil pans for us to take the leftovers, but we were able to come up with something.
I would definitely use La Taquiza again and would definitely recommend them to friends.

La Taquiza Catering Ruined My Wedding. They showed up an hour late causing stress and confusion. Also they came short staffed so people had to wait in line for food during the entire wedding. we had to move forward with the schedule even though half of the guest had not eaten yet.
The one thing I will say they were very nice and applogized for being late. Unfortunately that is not good enough on the Most important day of your life.
this company is just not professional enough to cater a wedding They may be better suited for a backyard bbq.
Lastly I called days before the event as they instructed me too and gave them a credit card to charge the balance on because i did not want them to use the one they had on file, seems simple enough right? Well not for this company they still charges the card I asked them not to use causing the bank account to overdraft.
if you have an event that is important to you please look elsewhere or you may be sorry like i am.

I hosted an engagement party for 50 and used La Taquiza catering. They were fantastic! The food was delicious, tortillas were made on site providing entertainment as well. Guests were raving about the food and we had lots of leftovers. This is now the third taco cart I have used and I am thrilled. They even brought their own tarps to make sure that nothing dropped on the ground outside and did an excellent job of cleanin gup out of themselves. I would definitely recommend!

I had a company party to put together last minute and I was stressing out until I found La Taquiza. They also have a sister company that does party rentals so one phone call and I had the food, tables, chairs, heaters, and linens. Everything was wonderful and the food was awesome. I especially recommend the marinated pork. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Also the prices were great. Thanks La Taquiza for helping put on a great party.

The food couldn’t have been better! Everything was hot, fresh and tasty! The tortillas were made fresh right at the party on their griddle. The staff (Marianna, Alex and Gil) were extremely professional. Our guests were thrilled. Especially recommend the pork. We had a party for 40 guests and there was delicious leftovers for the next night!
