It’s a cute little ice cream shop/coffee stop at the very outskirts of old town. It’s probably a poppin little spot during the summer months, but on a brisk San Diego Sunday it was quiet. $ 3.50($ 3.79 with tax) for a single scoop sugar cone seems like a cold stone price, which we were trying to avoid, while supporting a local business. They have an outgoing mail drop which is quite literally a flat rate box with a piece of cardboard taped over the top and a slit cut in it. Seems suspect, but they have an ‘approved shipper’ sign on the desk, so who knows. Looks like they’ve got a couple of split unit A/C units, so it’s probably a cool spot to get a cool treat when the weather heats up. The arms of the couches are super well worn, like your football loving father’s favorite arm chair. All in all a nice stop for a treat, but as should have been expected, a little spendy cause of its tourist location. Hey Korky’s, drop the prices for the slower winter season, and I’ll be back!

Very cute little shop, the coffee was ok, nothing to write home about, but the service was good and the young lady working there was very patient with me when I asked her take the foam off my latte(I know, high maintenance). If you’re in old town and need a fix this place will do.

Coffee was OK — wouldn’t let us pour our own cream — got too much in it. Scone was awful — undervalued and stale at the same time.

Dirty Chai tea latte was pretty good. Service was not that great, was very fast at giving us our order. The selection of prepackaged pastries was slim too none which was surprising as it was a holiday weekend. Lots of seating areas inside and out…

Terrible to see on the news you were robbed. But you should have working cameras for both the safety of your employees and your customers. Will not be returning.

This review is not for the service, as they were nice. But I came to have a café and work in between meetings and the cappuccino was eh, the wifi was terrible.

Icecream is good, however double check your bill, mine was double of what it should be. Got the refund.

We got served spoiled milk, got charged for it and no apology! My wife went in for a hot chocolate and came out saying it tasted weird. She asked me to try it and there was definitely something very wrong with it. We went back in to let the guy know and when he checked the milk noticed that it was spoiled. At that moment we expected an apology, some concern, something to show he cared… but nothing. he just looked at her and then started making another one. She said she preferred tea(hot water and a tea bag) at that point so he got her a tea and said«its on the house». My wife reminded him that she had just paid over $ 3 for a hot chocolate and we had not received a refund, so how could it be on the house, he didn’t seem to get it. Then she asked, is it the same price? He sort of murmured«yeah its around that price», which obviously was a lie, and we were looking at the price difference right on the menu. The kid behind the counter clearly doesn’t care for his job or the customers, unfortunately he represents a business which now deserves a bad review. After serving bad milk the least someone could do is apologize and offer a refund. We will never visit or recommend this place again. Hopefully we won’t get sick off that spoiled milk.

Very average place. They serve coffee and pastries and ice cream. Ice cream is Dreyer’s so not the best in my opinion. It’s very thick and kinda chewy… My brother got a caramel frappucino and took a sip and threw out the rest. He did not like it at all. They have zucchini bread, banana bread, and muffins individually wrapped in plastic wrap. They all looked a bit unappetizing. The only reason I am giving this place three stars is because of the delightful woman helping us with our orders. She was so pleasant and kind! One scoop of ice cream is $ 3.50 and double scoop is $ 4.50. Street parking out front or parking lot a bit farther and walk~

Lawrence was awesome! Such a nice guy and took a minute to chat with my friend and I about the local town and business. Excellent root beer floats and iced tea :) This is really the place to go!

We all loved this place! The service was so attentive and the ice cream was unforgettable. We have nothing like the flavors here in PA. A delicious memory from our fantastic trip to San Diego.

well. its is overpriced and there is no atmosphere. The soy latte(.75 cents extra) I had wasn’t even good. If I am going to pay that much for a beverage it should taste good. The staff were like stone figures. The«baked» goods come from Costco…

Here on a Saturday night. There is a great psychedelic bluesman rockin’ out on the sidewalk. Just ordered a sandwich and it was so good, I saw stars.(Five of ‘em) The sounds are great, my face is tingling.

Stopped in this morning for some coffee. I ordered an iced mocha, and boy was it one of the most sugary mochas I’ve ever tasted! It was way too sweet and had a hint of cinnamon I believe; so a mocha with a cinnamon roll flavor to it, which was interesting and sort of a tasty twist at first, but ultimately I couldn’t drink much more than half of it and ended up tossing the rest. The few pastries and muffins on display looked unappetizing. The temperature was pretty warm inside.

When you need a bagel late at night, you can get one here. It’s not fresh made or anything, it’s just out of a bag. But it’s a bagel. I purchased a bagel here. It wasn’t awful but it wasn’t like a fresh bagel. I needed it before my race the next morning. My friend had ice cream. Based on her consumption of that, she seemed to like it. Friendly service. And they had some old dudes jamming out front, so that was nice. Solid but nothing extraordinary.

Best Hammerhead in Old Town! But make sure you get it with the flavor of the day, it’s almost always a good choice. Quick and friendly service, they are open pretty early(usually around 7am). They also have tea and ice cream. Nice surprise here? Thai tea!

I come here every morning for coffee and a bagel and I am always greeted and acknowledged by a family full of smiles. The family that runs this shop is very friendly and sociable. I feel very welcomed there. Come here to support your local business! The price for the coffee and bagel is fair and not overpriced.($ 4) This place deserves more than just 3 stars. So I will do my best to try to raise the ratings by giving it 5 stars. The coffee and bagels here are dependable and fairly priced. And most of all, the service here is wonderful!

This little place serving up sweet treats(featuring Dreyers ice cream, smoothies, and other drinks– also the other part is an internet café) is located at the end of the historic neighborhood/tourist attraction Old Town. We came here on saturday night after dinner and the whole street area was blocked off for a big Cinco De Mayo Block Party(parking was $ 10 at other parking lots nearby– we parked at a church and it was at full capacity). I got a scoop of Mango ice cream on a cake cone and it was surprisingly very good– very creamy and had small bits of mango(reminded me of my favorite filipino brand, Magnolia), but I don’t know if it was still Dreyer’s because it was the only one without a Dreyer’s tub label. I really enjoyed it. I’m a huge Mango flavor fan, though. My husband got Chocolate Malted Crunch on a sugar cone. Both cones were under $ 8.00. It’s a nice little place(some tables), looks kind of forgotten– empty(maybe due to its location) because we were the only customers in here, and also, since Coldstone is in somewhat close proximity as well. But found out that there are lots of restaurants in the area that also serve ice cream, smoothies, and other drinks.
