Ken Carpet Cleaning

Set up an appointment for 8AM at my new place. Drove 40 minutes. At 8:15AM, no one comes. My wife calls and Ken says he’ll call cleaner. 10 minutes later, Ken calls and says he can have someone out at about 2PM. He says, cleaner went to wrong job. He then says, he can have the guy there between 3p and 4p. I told him that I set up the appointment at 8AM because I had things to do. He says he was sorry there was nothing he could do. I told him that I wanted a price break. He says he cant because the cleaner is a contractor and doesn’t work for him so he has to pay him the full amount.
I cancelled and went with someone else. I bought a Unilocal coupon and went to another company.
Terrible customer service

WOW, just had my worst craigslist experience EVER.
Ken is a middle man, quotes you 1 price then someone shows up and charges much higher!
After agreeing to price up on carpets, Guy took off. when i called ken, he started cursing and told me he would cut my tongue out and put it somewhere.
NEVER USE THESE GUY most disrespectful service i have ever encountered! i will be filing a formal complaint to the BBB.
who the mo#$#%er now. after his guy agreed to do my rugs, said he was going to his car the setup and took off without a word!!!
so unprofessional, this place should be shut down.

Do not hire this company on craigslist to clean your carpets in San Diego. They do a terrible job. $ 50 and then says the spots won’t come clean. My floors honestly look no different than before. The guy who came to clean was terribly vulgar and crude. He was there about 20 minutes and that was too long. When I asked for a receipt, he asked me what I wanted the total to be. Corrupt place that didn’t do anything for my carpet.

Found this business on Craigslist… They had TONS of listings… Called Ken and he quoted me for getting my carpets and couches cleaned. I ask’d him if he was available the that Sunday, said yes, asked him what time he had available. Said I dont know, between 1pm and 4pm.
Sweet. I needed to get it done ASAP so I was willing to take whatever time he had available that day. He gave me 2 different names of people that would be showing up, he said it would be either or.
Sunday came… I was home ALL day, 2:24pm came and I called him to confirm that he’s guy would be there by 4pm. He said yes and that as soon as his guy finishes up in Chula Vista he would be coming to my place.
4:24pm came… and still no show/​no call. I call Ken and he says that his guy JUST called him and told him that he ate something and got sick and he would be calling his other guy to see if he could come out. He said to give him 2 minutes and he would call me back… 30 minutes… no call back …2 hours… no call back.
Monday 9:18 am and I get a call and voicemail from him saying he thought his other guy was going to call me and JUST found out he didnt. And sorry for leaving me hanging yesterday… claims he could personally come out today and do the cleaning himself. That the prior days situation «there was nothing he could do»
Do I want him to come out and do my carpet now??? Hmmmmm NOOOOOOO!
So unprofessional!!! I waited almost FIVE hours. That was five hours that I could had been doing so much more.
I googled this company and his phone # and he has quite a few complains about being a contractor and the other employees not being happy with the quotes he gives. But ALL that sounds like KENS personal problem. Yet as long as they keep functioning in this UNPROFESSIONAL manner they will not be getting my business.
