Not too bad of food but it wasn’t a real egg with my bacon egg and cheese. Very small time mom and pop deli so nothing really fancy here.

Small hole in the wall deli owned by a nice Asian couple. Ordered the grilled cheese sandwich. It came with 3 different cheeses. Looked delicious, but wasn’t for me. My friend said it was delicious. I ordered a California club. I’ll have to say the same things other reviewers have said about the lack of avocado. It is pretty much non existent in the sandwich, makes me wonder why they even bothered putting avocado in the sandwich. Minus 2 stars for the missing avocado. The sourdough this deli uses is DELICIOUS.

Making a sandwich isn’t rocket science and thats what the folks here capitalize on very well. They do a great job and serve you in an extremely timely manner. I also love the fact they don’t force the up sale. I’ve probably purchased one fountain soda in my entire life and the fact they don’t ask if you want one gets them 5 stars in and of itself. I’m partial to the Ruben and if your taking it to go just get the dressing on the side and you can keep your sammy a little less soggy.

Awesome sandwhichs! Small family owned business. They’re always so nice and make a great sandwhich everytime! Go give the beef lover sandwhich a try. It’s just how a sandwhich should taste!

I absolutely love this deli! The owners are the nicest people and always treat you very well. I have been eating here for the past two years and have loved every sandwich they have made me! I highly recommend the Kearny Mesa Classic or Tuna Melt. Their bagels in the morning are also delicious too, try the #22 on an everything bagel you will love it!

Small family owned deli with great employees. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. What was brought out to me was delicious. Simple but yummy! Toasted sourdough, and I believe the cheese was jalapeño mozzarella with cheddar. First time eating here, and I will be coming back. Definitely recommend plus the prices aren’t bad either. Got a Starbucks frappé in the bottle, a bag of sun chips, and the sandwich for about $ 9.

I Love this place it is walking distance from my work which is awesome! I believe it is owned by a family I always fax in my order and its always ready when I pick it up. Fresh ingredients and they have sprouts! By far one of my favorite Delis in Kearny Mesa

Asian family owned deli restaurant. Very convenient location. Easy to find. Regular sized parking lot but doesn’t seem to get too packed. Smaller sized deli. They have a good amount of options on their menu. Serving breakfast until 10:30AM. Other foods include: Fruit salad, garden salad, macaroni salad, & potato salad $ 2.50-$ 4.99 Specialty salads: Baja, Caesar, Chef, Cobb, Tuna $ 6.99 Lunch combos with choice of half sandwich and soup or half sandwich and salad. They have soups of the day(seasonal) $ 3.29 They have deluxe sandwiches, hot sandwiches, sub sandwiches and even vegetarian options ranging from $ 4.79-$ 6.29 Catering available upon request. + Big Daddy Deluxe Sandwich $ 6.29 (roast beef, turkey, ham, jack cheese, avocado, mayo, lettuce, tomato) I request my sandwich to be on rye bread. Their rye bread was the most bland rye bread ever. And it was super soggy in the middle, the kind that gets stuck to your teeth in every bite. And it outer crust was super hard and chewy. Everything else was okay. Comparable to a quick grab and go sandwich from a convenient store such as 7 Eleven. Overall, its a decent place. Just nothing outstanding.

Place is ok. I went here after I went to the guitar shop to check it out and ended up trying it out. It’s a Korean ran deli store. I said food is ok because the cheese seemed old and they put 1 leaf of lettuce. I gave it 4 stars because you are buying great service. The family is so nice and all said bye to me when I left, so 4 stars for their service.

Great deli! Its right across the street from my work. The food is fantastic, my favorite is the California Club. Their breakfast burritos and sandwiches are also amazing. Sometimes I stop in just to grab a soda or a bag of chips just because I like to visit, the owners are super nice people. I definitely recommend this place, its one of a kind!

Unless you are literally next door to this place, you probably don’t want to try them for delivery. We really wanted to try this place. We are one mile away from the place, and when I called to ask if they delivered, the lady said, Yes! So we called with our order and gave our address, and she said she didn’t know the address therefore they couldn’t deliver. I asked if they perhaps had a map or GPS, maybe a smartphone to put the address in, but there was a language block and she said«I don’t know.» I tried to give directions, but then she said that they actually do not have a delivery person. It is a shame, I work for a company that would have ordered multiple times and given great business. We recommend Gourmet Island Deli and Chesapeake Deli for delivery. Their food is great, their English is great, and you won’t be disappointed.

Someone who speaks English needs to answer the phone. Then maybe we could actually place an order.

I eat lunch here almost every day. They are super nice people and make quality sandwiches at a reasonable price. I’m always crazy busy so I’ll order my sandwich to go and sometimes it takes me 2 hours to come and get it… they keep it warm for me the entire time. One time I went over there in my car and then walked back to the office… totally forgot I took the car… when they closed she came to my office with my car keys and was very sweet about my lapse in mindfulness. Made my office staff laugh out loud that I did that. Oops. It’s a mom and pop business — literally, and they treat the customers well. I highly recommend. :)

Wonderful hand-crafted sandwiches and wraps. Tons of fresh turkey piled high atop great bread. Had the veggie wrap with extra salad dressing, delicious! Extra thick potato chips, ripe banana, and aloe vera juice drink for a healthy linner(lunch + dinner). Nice patio outside but they do close at 3 pm. We’ll be back soon!

Friday afternoon… and I’m at UPS just down the road. What will I have for lunch? I Unilocal,“Deli”, and Kearny Mesa Deli show up as the closest to my location. As I look through the menu, I notice the California Club which includes turkey, Swiss, avocado, mayo, lettuce, and tomato on sourdough bread. $ 5.89 Sounds yummy! To save myself time, I call the order in. The person on the other end was friendly, and helpful. Says, «about 10 to 15 minutes. Okay. I drive to the deli from UPS. Very close. I almost missed it, because the location isn’t that big. But, it is visible and has good signage. My own fault, not theirs. As I enter the deli… it is definitely a family establishment. Nothing fancy, but clean and well maintained. The person at the counter is the same as the one who answered the phone. Polite and nice to me. I paid, and off I go. He said,“Have a good day», and I said«you do the same». When I arrived at my office, I opened up the sandwich to find that it was HUGE. Great value for $ 5.89. Everything that the description named off was inside. Plenty of everything! It was scrumptious… and I’ll be back. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Bön Appetit!

Small family run deli. Food is always consistently decent, quick, and fresh. Our office frequents the deli due to location and it is the best one in our area. Small dining area, definitely not made for groups over four. I’ve order several sandwiches off the menu and the best I’ve found is the Kearny Mesa sandwich, the squaw bread is great. The only complaint I have is that the menu lacks a little variety however it is worth stopping in for a sandwich if you’re hungry and in the area.

Nice family-run deli with sandwiches that are a great value. I come here probably twice a week, as my office is a short walk away. I am big fan of the philly cheese steak special that they run on Wednesdays, and they also offer a curry special on Fridays. Most of the sandwiches on the menu that I have tried were also quite tasty.

After spending the morning looking at new vehicles, I started to get hungry, so I saw this place as I left the Hyundai Dealer driving down Ronson Rd. and decide to stop to get a sandwich. I ordered the California Club on sourdough bread. The sandwich included turkey, Swiss, bacon, avocado, lettuce. tomato, and I asked for no mayo for $ 5.89 plus tax.( ) The sandwich was good. It had plenty of fresh turkey, a descent amount of crispy bacon, and couple of slices of good swiss cheese.( ) The tomatoes and lettuce were fresh but the avocado was almost non-existent. They put a few extra, I mean extra thin, slices of avocado.( ) I was bummed because that was the number ONE reason why I ordered this sandwich. The avocado is what makes it a California Club. Some more thicker slices of avocado would of earn this place at least 4 stars in my book. That being said, the place is very nice and so are the people who own it. They appeared to be a nice Asian family. Where’s the avocado???

Mom and pop sandwich shop that you’d never make a destination unless you worked in the area. It’s not bad, but it hardly does anything to warrant going out of your way. I had the southwestern chicken sando and it was meat, cheese, and a green pepper on toasted bread. Decent but certainly left a little to be desired. If you work around here or find yourself in the area I’d give it a go, but other than that probably not worth straying from your path. Mom and pop were extremely nice though.
