Came with my aunt to get haircut… and so amazed how it looks Felipe is the best. Can’t wait to come and get my hair done by him

Was lucky enough to run into John and Luis at the Adams Avenue Street Fair. My hair was as dry as straw and they generoulsy gave me lavish samples. Which tranformed my hair on the Street. I can’t wait to get my hair cut there. I find them to be so nice and thougtful.
Glad to find these men.

Luis is the very best! I went to salons all over hillcrest and north park area, and no one could cut my hair right — until I met Luis! he does it just like I like it and to top it off, he’s a fabulous person with a great personality! you’d be crazy to go elsewhere where it’s all pomp and attitude — but at JM it’s good people and awesome haircuts!

I went here for the first time in July and was very pleased with my haircut. Having moved here from the Bay Area I was looking for a sytlist. John Michael listened to me and gave me the haircut I asked for.
The second trip he remembered how he had done my hair and I told him I wanted something shorter. He cut it shorter and I said I wanted it even shorter and he cut it just the way I wanted it. He explained that he didn’t want to give me too drastic a change and I said I was ready to have it really short. Both cuts were great and he listens.
The true test of a good stylist is how good you look after the first shampoo. I got a lot of comments from both cuts — positive! Remember: People aren’t impressed with the salon you go to unless you tell them and want to make a statement; however, they are continually impressed by how your hair looks (great or not so much).
If you want a very good cut and style and don’t need a lot of hype, this is the place. Very reasonably priced.

This is a great shop. I’ve been getting clipped here for the past five years and wouldn’t change salons if there was a topless one across the street…
OK, so maybe that’s what it would take for me to switch out of there.
But even if I did, I’d feel guilty. NO ONE could possibly make my thinning mane look as good as these guys do! Both John and Felipe are artists in their own right and always make me feel at home.
I’m just wishing I could take advantage of their first time customer free haircut deal — just ’cause i am so freaking cheap

This little place is great. Just John and Luis (Felipe). I walked in about a year ago for a hair cut and Luis was great!!! Best hair cut I have had in years. Have seen the work John does too. Just as great. Been going for a year now and have never been disappointed with my cut. I am growing out my short cut right now and Luis knows just how to cut it so I can get thru the pain of letting it grow. Give the place a try!!!
