Joe Can The Handyman

Joe Can… You still owe us $ 159.00, in accordance with your December 16, 2015, text message. In that message, you promised to pay us back the $ 159.00 in six (6) days, and, so far on this date (December 30, 2015), you have not. We made several attempts to remind you about payment via returned text messages before we made comments on «yelp.» One other clarification on the payment of $ 500.00 we made to you on November 22, 2015, you called us and requested payment. You indicated that you would not be able to complete our projects without the money because your van had been towed. We felt pressured into paying you even though the work on our project had not been completed. We expect payment of the full amount ($ 159.00) as soon as possible so that we can resolve this issue.

Joseph is honest, reliable and explains his abilities and if its out of his area, he’s able to say I can only do this part of the job and then you’ll have to go to a plumber. He’s efficient with his time and does quality work. I’ve used Joseph for many repairs to my home and I trust him to always do a good job. He’s fair and handled small plumbing jobs, plaster, paint, woodwork, you name it. He’s a great go to guy!

Joe is skilled at nearly all trades and is the first one to let you know if something is outside his abilities. I recently had him help out on a full home remodel. He handled plumbing, electrical, walls, drywall, patching, repairs, you name it — no problem. Joe has a high degree of ethics and great customer service. I will hire him for future jobs and have already referred him to a neighbor.

I’m not sure why my other review got blocked, but Joe is the man. I own a house and have a rental property and Joe is my go to guy for both. He is honest, charges a fair price and always shows up on time. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a handyman in SD.

I highly recommend Joe, he does a great job with no complaints, he follows up with clients. He is very knowledgeable in many areas of the maintenance field, I believe the only areas he does not attempt are appliances, window repairs and HVAC, all other request that I have called him to complete, have been completed.
Clients are satisfied and the feedback I hear is that Joe is very quick with the task and he cleans up the mess before leaving the job, he informs the client what the issues are and what he did to fix the repair or why it needed to be replaced.
Joe is professional with the clients.
He is very honest and will not try to take on a job/​task that is out of his expertise.

Joe has helped us out many times in the past few months. He is super reliable, always on time and has worked within this busy Mom’s schedule. He came out and custom made screens for our home. Not only do the screens look great and fit perfectly; the cost was very reasonable. Since then we have had Joe do multiple jobs at our property. He has installed lighting fixtures, patched and painted walls, and caulked showers to name a few things. The job is always done right and he is super neat. Lastly, he is friendly and professional. I highly recommend Joe for any job you need done around the house.

I don’t know what that other guy was talking about… but I met joe the handyman about 3years ago… And let me tell you… Great work, awesome customer service, extremely reliable and not to mention trustworthy… would recommend him to anyone!!!

This guy was a no show 2 days in a row and not even a call. When I called him he had a lot of excuses about not having my phone number (which was on his cell from setting up the job) or that another project took too long. It was obvious that he accepts all jobs and then decides which ones to go to and doesn’t have the decency to call the jobs he chooses to skip. Don’t use this guy!
