My husband and I are familiar with Steve’s work so we were very excited to have him do our wedding photos and video. I personally am not the best at looking nice in pictures but he worked miracles! He is very creative with the surroundings and thinks of good poses on the fly sometimes it seems. The highlight for me was the video he put together for us to watch at the reception. It was amazing to sit back and watch all the wedding activities through out the day, it felt like time stopped for a moment and we could really enjoy the wedding. We highly recommend Steve for any occasion for photo or video!

We hired Steven for our recent wedding, and he did a fantastic job! Steven was the last vendor we hired, just a couple of weeks before the wedding, as we had been going back and forth on hiring a videographer, but we are so glad we did!
I didn’t actually meet Steven in person until the day of the wedding, but I found him to be very courteous and professional. He captured what needed to be filmed without being intrusive, especially important during the ceremony! He also got our video to us very quickly, the wedding was less than two weeks ago and we just received it yesterday!
He did a great job with the editing, we had him do a short highlight video as well as a longer version of the footage, cleaning it up, but including all of the ceremony, speeches, first dance, cake cutting, etc. He even added great song selections in the videos without any input!
I would highly recommend Steven to film your event, he was a great addition to our wedding and we can’t imagine the day without having him be there to capture all the amazing moments, which we can now enjoy whenever we want!

Steve did my wedding video 2 yrs ago. It was so well produced and evoked such an emotional response that my husband and I watch the video on a regular basis. No one compares to Steve. We looked at the video portfolios of at least a dozen other «videographers» and it was a no-​brainer. His videos are without a doubt the very best in the market. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with documenting my important experiences.
We loved Steve so much that when I hosted my annual family reunion, we immediately called Steve — he was the first vendor we hired. And for the first time in the 40 year history of my family reunions, we have a beautifully documented history of our family with interview of my elders, and videos from the entire event weekend to share and rewatch for years to come.

You brides-​to-​be know how it is: The vendor has a great product, but their personality could be better. With Steve, you get the best of both worlds!
Steve was a really great person to work with, and easily, the best vendor at our wedding. He was timely with his e-​mails, professional, and came prepared for whatever the day may bring him. (He even brought his own hat for the «after the church» shoot on the beach. Yes, it was a warm day.)
Skills:
We are not models by any means, so he was creative with our poses and gave really good direction, something even some photographers have a hard time doing! We were apprensive, but he assured us our moves looked great.
At cocktail hour, while other vendors were taking a break, he was putting together the same-​day footage (which was rare at the time) to show at the reception, and WO-​OW people were floored.
He even stayed later than some of the guests to capture the whole event.
Product:
We got our video in about 2 weeks and still love it! He set music segments to our taste and liking. The whole thing was so beautifully done. He got better shots of the details than our photographer!

Steven filmed our tiny wedding in April, and we couldn’t be happier with his videography skills and his responsiveness /​professionalism. He arrived early and stayed until the guests began to leave. He brought 2 cameras and a high-​tech sound system. He interviewed our guests and shot all the important parts of the event.
After the wedding, he had a draft of our video ready in less than 2 days, with beautifully selected music. He solicited our feedback and made the few changes we wanted to the video and we now have a wonderful keepsake from our wedding. We highly recommend him!

We hired Steven Javitz to video our wedding at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina last month. We were originally NOT going to hire a videographer, but everyone (my wife particularly) told us our wedding day would go so fast and we would probably not remember everything… THEY WERE RIGHT… for anyone getting married and choosing what to spend money on, a videographer has to be at the top of the list. You will be so happy you have the video to look back on weeks, months and years after your wedding.
Ok, so Steven was the only videographer we contacted and we hit the jackpot with him. His pricing was entirely reasonable and much better than all those videographers you will meet at the bridal bazaars because he has little to no overhead. We met with him and discussed everything he was going to do to capture our day. He showed us a great promotional video that when my now wife and I saw it, we imagined our own wedding on video in our heads and knew immediately that Steven was the right guy for the job. One of the things that amazed us was that Steven shoots the wedding by himself. We had 170 guesta and Steven got everything… interviews with a lot of our close friends and family, our first dance, the entire ceremony, getting ready footage of my wife and I… he was everywhere!!! Plus, we didn’t want an entourage of people running around with video cameras to catch everything, because inevitably, you WILL end up with portions of your video, or worse, still pictures with a videographer with a camera in the shots.
Steven’s extremely friendly and we really enjoyed having him at the wedding… we thought it was really important that we liked our vendors’ personalities, and Steven fit right in with us!
And as for the finished product, Steven put together an AMAZING video with songs from our wedding and songs he selected on his own. The video editing was incredible, he got so many views of us at the ceremony (he had three cameras set up and he captured three different points of view which was incredible) used slow motion effects, zoom in and out… it was just incredible! My wife and I watched the 2-​hour video TWICE the first night he sent it to us.
If you are even considering NOT getting a videographer, we would offer that you will miss parts of your wedding that you wish you would have seen, and you will miss not being able to relive all of the emotions brought back for us when we watched the video.
If you are considering getting a videographer, YOU HAVE TO GO WITH STEVEN JAVITZ! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!

Javitz Videography shot my wedding and did an awesome job! Steven was very professional and had great ideas. Truthfully I thought it would be cheesy like other wedding video’s I’ve seen but it had an artistic touch and really captured our style and the mood of the event.

We recently hired Steven Javitz for our September 2009 black tie wedding that took place at the Westgate Hotel downtown.
When we originally met with him eight months prior to the event, he came prepared with a variety of options, and allowed us to customize the videography package to suit our needs. We wanted to have guest interviews, and wanted to do a short video of how we met that would be presented as part of our slideshow. He had some great ideas and really encouraged us to be creative. He was also the easiest of all vendors to work with. He told us to gather photos for our slideshow and told us not to worry about getting the photos scanned, he would do it himself. I sent all of our photos to him, and they were all returned to me the day of the wedding in perfect condition. On the day of the wedding, the slideshow was OUTSTANDING! He sat down and added a number of live video clips from the wedding ceremony that had happened just a short time before, in order to conclude the slideshow. Everyone in the room was in awe (especially to see they had been added so quickly). Steven is hardworking, easy to coordinate with, and very creative and flexible. He is by nature very technical, and has the best equipment to capture sound and picture. He also set up multiple cameras to capture all angles of the ceremony and reception.
Steven is the highest caliber of vendor you can find– and his pricing is very reasonable. We were extremely impressed with his professionalism, and willingness to make everything as easy as possible. I would also be inclined to say that having him there on our wedding day made me feel at ease. Even when we were running behind with taping (me) the bride getting dressed, he compensated by starting with the groom and groomsmen and told us to call him whenever we were ready.
If you are looking for a première vendor who is professional in every aspect and can listen and deliver exactly what you want and expect, Steven Javitz will outperform even the highest expectations.

We used Javitz videography for our wedding just last month and were incredibly happy with the final production. Steven was very creative with his shots and did a great job capturing the funny, heart-​warming, and silly moments of our day.
He set the video to beautiful music and it felt like we were movie stars in a romance film. Steven also surprised everyone at the wedding with a «sneak-​peek» preview of some of the wedding video footage after our photo slideshow. All of the guests couldn’t get over how great that was :)

Steven Javitz is simply the best! We decided to book with him as a last minute add on because, well you know how it is, weddings are very costly! We originally had met Steven at one of our closest friends wedding witnessing how hard of a worker he is, and with our wedding 5 months away, we always kept him in mind. Our money was tight, but literally 3 weeks before our big day, my fiancé and I both knew we had to find a way to have Steven there. When I contacted him, I was so worried that it was too short of a notice. But he pleasantly accepted, and performed a phenomenal job! His prices are VERY reasonable, and he is not one of the pushy, in your face, wedding videographers. He did an exceptional job on the slideshow for the reception, and we received our completed DVD 3 weeks later! He truly is an artist. The absolute best! You will always remember your big day with Javitz Videography! A++++

We had no idea where to get a good videographer when we were planning our only daughter’s wedding this past Dec. 2008. I can’t even remember which wedsite I found Steven but thankfully we found just the perfect person for this very important job. We are avid photographers and video everything we do so this was an important decision. Steven was great in every respect. He was easy to contact when we needed to talk with him, he followed all our requests and most of all he was so creative and we even got the final video only 2 weeks after the wedding. We were in tears at how beautiful the final cut was. Our daughter and her new husband were just as touched. We can fully reccomned Steven to video any event you might have. He is very talented and very caring about his whole approach to this business.
