Such an outstanding hostel! The staff — Erin, Angel, Natalie, Jason, and Zach — in particular — was amazingly kind and such a riot. They made you feel like family immediately, and I never felt an ounce of homesickness. There were group events almost every afternoon and evening which were all tons of fun and the homemade breakfasts and dinners were absolutely delicious. The facilities were always kept clean, and the staff was always very prompt to clean up any messes that inconsiderate guests left behind. The location is perfect — super close to the San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park, and right next to a wine bar! How convenient! This hostel definitely made my vacation complete and I would love to make a trip back just to visit the wonderful people I now call my friends. And also because SD is amazing.
