I was in a hair funk and Madison totally solved my issues! I just moved to SD from LA and needed a new stylist, but finding a good one is difficult! Thankfully I met Madison — she is a great listener and understood what kind of look I wanted and how to achieve it. My hair is naturally light and she re-​did my highlights to give me a more icy blonde look, instead of the yellowy color that other stylists had put in my hair previously. Not only did Madison brighten up my hair color, she gave me a really awesome shaggy layered look I’d been pining for. She took her time with my hair and was a delight to talk to and has a super sweet, down-​to-​earth personality. The salon itself is in a great location, and everyone there is laid back and pleasant. If you’re looking for a stylist, do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Madison!

This is by far my favorite salon to go to, and I have been to a lot. The stylists are fun, kind, and great at what they do. I get my hair done by Madison, she has been amazing. I demand a lot from my hair dresser as a blond, I always want it lighter and I like to experiment with colors and Madison gets me where I want to be! I have been to so many places where the stylist tells me they can’t do what I want and I never even get a second guess from Madison. I highly, highly recommend her, especially for edgy colors and styles.

SO beyond happy I found Isaac– he is such a rock star, and his salon is incredibly warm and inviting! All of his staff are fun and do incredible work, so you can’t really go wrong with any of them! I hadn’t gotten my hair done in almost a year, and Isaac worked with me to discuss what I wanted in terms of a cut and balayage. I loved that he was both honest in setting expectations for what we were going to do but also willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with the results. And I was more than satisfied! His hand-​painting/​balayage was ON POINT! I also didn’t want to get rid of much length, and while Isaac did have to get rid of some dead ends (as I hadn’t cut my hair in almost a year!), he did the bare minimum trim. Speaking from experience, I hate when you walk out of a salon with shorter hair than you wanted, and I really appreciated that he stayed faithful to my request. Isaac is also very knowledgable about his craft and super entertaining to talk with– I had a great experience overall. Can’t sing my praises enough about Isaac and his salon, they put in workkkk.

Isaac has been cutting and coloring my hair for 10 years. I have even followed him across the country because once you find a great stylist you don’t let them go! I love seeing Isaac because he takes pride in his work and always does a high quality job. He takes time to get to know his clients and their lifestyles. I have a conservative job but I love funky hair and he always maintains the perfect balance of what I like/​need. Isaac is extremely talented and is constantly keeping himself educated on the latest hair techniques. Plus the salon is beautiful and filled with friendly people so it’s always a pleasure to be there.

Finally I feel like a million bucks. The last 6 – 7 years I have struggled with two stylist that have unfortunately managed to give me every styles and colors that I have never asked for. I am a loyal client so I tend to stay longer than I should.
Faced with another bad style, my husband suggested I contact Isaac at Isaac Roberts Salon, his stylist, to fix it. And boy did he! I had a combination of 6 inches of roots, over 7 years of highlights, and thick zebra like highlights. I has asked my previous stylist to give me a nice blended ombré style, instead he gave me thick unblended highlights. A major nightmare. Isaac not only answered my 911 call immediately but he reassured me that he would do anything to fix it. He did this balayage effect and lord knows how many more things to make it look good. I thought it would take atleast two visits to fix but Isaac worked his magic. His knowledge and techniques made my impossible hair look freaking good! I am so happy to finally find a stylist that knows what he is doing.

I did a lot of salon hopping when I moved to San Diego– until I found Isaac. I have been going to him for years now, and am always impressed with his work. I can give him the most vague descriptions of what I want, and he kills it each time! Plus, it is so much fun to go hangout in the salon. They are a hilarious and talented group of stylists. And as a bonus, each is finer than frog hair!

Amazing! My hair looked like crap when I walked in a month ago! I showed Isaac a picture of what I wanted and he explained to me how it had to be done to get the best results. Took a month to get where I wanted to be and I know this is as good as it gets! He is very good and knowledgable about what he does and shows true pride in his work. Everyone that works there is fun! I’ve seen Madison’s work on her clients and she does amazing work as well! If you’re thinking of a small or big change this salon is the place to go! You won’t be disappointed!

Isaac Roberts salon and Isaac Roberts and stylists are amazing! The IRS salon is easy to get to, park at and just a comfortable environment to enjoy your hair experience! Isaac is such an easy person to talk to and he is so funny which makes it more relaxing. I have been seeing Isaac for several years. I trusted his advice and my hair is healthier than ever. His coloring skills are fantastic, 3 friends now follow him of mine too.

Isaac has been my hair man for 7+ years. He makes this wash and go girl look good :-) I am super excited that he has his own salon now. The atmosphere at IRS is very friendly, silly, and relaxed. I am always excited to go see Isaac and his crew. I can’t wait for his youtube channel to be up and running so when I’m feeling fancy in between appointments I can try something new with my hair.

Isaac has been cutting my hair for 3 years now. He does an amazing job. People always tell me how awesome my hair looks and my hair grows in all kinds of weird directions. The other stylists at his salon are great too. They all have such a fun and warm vibe, it makes you feel at home.

Madison did such a wonderful job with my hair for a wedding! I didn’t exactly know what I wanted, but she took the time to ask me multiple questions and pin down what type of look I’d like. She worked quickly and professionally, and wow, was I impressed with how it turned out! She created this beautiful updo with weaving through the curls. She is definitely an artist!
The salon was easy to find and had parking in back. And all the staff were very friendly!

I was planning to wear a pin-​up inspired costume for comic con and wanted to get my hair and make-​up done. I found a make-​up artist, but was having some trouble finding someone for my hair. When I asked the make-​up artist I scheduled with (Shelby McElroy) if she had anyone she could refer me to, she recommended Madison Jane. I looked Madison up on Instagram and I knew she was it!
Madison gave me the address to Isaac Roberts Salon. It’s a cute salon that is easily accessible.
Madison was very friendly and I showed her a photo of what I was going for. She got to work and even made some adjustments to make it more fitting (slightly more exaggerated since it was for a costume). I wore that hairstyle for 12+ hours and it still looked fantastic. I took out the bobby pins when I went to bed as well, but even when I woke up I still had curls that looked great! I wish I didn’t have to stick my hair under a wig the next day for another costume so I could have taken advantage of the amazing work Madison did.
I cannot recommend Madison enough! She is crazy talented. Between her and Shelby, I am wishing I lived in San Diego again so I can just have my hair and make-​up done by them forever for everything.

The man himself only takes appointments with President Obama, Chuck Norris, Phillip Rivers, Zohan, and Richard Simmons. Isaac is an artist, such a role model for the community. He holds Congress meetings in the hotel across the street. He is the reason why The most interesting man looks good.

This salon and everyone I have spoken to there is fantastic. I see Jason for my color and I look forward to every appointment because the space is so open, warm, and inviting. Lots of windows to look out, lots of great light, and talented and experienced stylists. They also have their own parking lot behind the salon which is a HUGE bonus in this area of town.

Issac Roberts has been my hairstylist for over 5 years. Prior to finding him, I went to other stylists who were good, but not consistent. I not only love Isaac’s coloring and cuts, the experience of sitting and chatting with him is a blast.
His salon is clean and inviting. There are a ton of windows to look out and see everything that’s going on in North Park (across from the Lafayette Hotel).
