Went here with a group for a light breakfast and coffee. Ambiance is awesome. Love the street outdoor café seating-perfect for people watching in little Italy. The food here is amazing lots of breakfast choices for bagel and croissant sandwiches. My go-to place for a great cold-brew and veggie bagel-topped with fresh cucumbers and tomatoes.

Maybe I just came on an off day but I wasn’t too impressed. I got a latte and a arugula salad. The salad was beautiful but chicken was extremely dry and I found the tiniest little bug dancing around in my bread. I didn’t want to make it a big deal but pretty much lost my appetite after that.

Since the Encinitas Dog Park is closed for renovation, we used this coffee shop as a base starting point. Asked if they had any vegan muffins and the barrister said they a carrot muffin that was. So, got that. It’s a big muffin for $ 3. We shared the muffin and it great, Very moist and flavorful. I asked the barrister about it and he said they bake their muffins themselves. That’s really cool Plenty of seating, outdoor is okay for dogs. And they have soy milk in a carafe. Bathroom is a an interesting walk through a basement corridor of an adjacent building. Felt sort of like I was in Half Life.

Terrible service I paid for my coffee, I needed– ice the guy said«you have to wait I have a lot of orders that I have to make before I give you ice“he made me stand there for the longest time, why couldn’t he have quickly just dump some ice in a cup? Making me realize I made a mistake going here when I normally go to elsewhere on India. Also the coffee was quite weak I asked the girl which is the strongest I love very strong she suggested the one I had. Nordies regular coffee in their café is Bette! I thought I would tell my coffee club 75 of us, about a new place for us– I’m glad I went first, not going back.

Goat cheese pecan salad was so amazing I mean out of this world. The candied pecans crunch and creamy goat cheese such a good combinations and the vinaigrette was perfect not over powering the salad. If ur in the area this would be the place for a good bite of food

Croissant melt #1 was so goood! Brie cheese with black forest ham?! Yes pls! And a large vanilla latte which was probably one of the best lattes I’ve ever had, total was $ 10 and some change. My friend got the Lox bagel and it was just as good! The location is in little italy, with outdoor seating also. So with the right San diego morning light breeze, it’s a nice way to start your day

I came to Influx this afternoon to knock out a lengthy report I have been dreading for weeks now. I ordered a melt 2 and a blended 3 which turned out to be a killer combo. The croissant in the melt 2 was toasted with delicious Brie, basil, tomato and apple slices. The croissant was a little over toasted but provided a nice crunchy contrast with the creamy cheese and tomato! The blended 3 with two shots of espresso was super delicious and balanced well compared to other blended drinks with way too much cream that overpowers the beautiful espresso! Overall the ambiance was perfect for getting work done. The music is at a great volume and the employees here are super sweet. I had great service and actually enjoyed getting my work done. The prices were consistent with every other café in little Italy and their food and drinks are high quality. This may become a weekly ritual of mine!

Superb coffee shop with friendly service and strong cups of happiness. Delicious breakfast croissant sandwiches that are so scrumptious. Influx is a nice little place to meet & hang out with the Locals. Always a favorite of ours when we’re in Little Italy.

Pricier than what I expected for a bagel sandwich, but the quality is undeniable. Their drip coffee was great as well. Very big, bright, and welcoming indoor space. They also had an outdoor patio which seemed to be very dog friendly. Street parking only, but it’s relatively easy to find a spot pretty early in the mornings. Such a nice place to people watch and everyone here is extremely friendly. Good for big groups and families. Very casual and quick — we got our food within 5 minutes of ordering, even though there was a pretty big line ahead of us.

Great staff– they always carry a smile. Turkey 2 sandwich is to die for– feels home made and fresh among many other sandwiches and croissants. Influx has pretty good chai, latte, regular coffee and assortment of teas. I have been here around 20 times and I am always glad to come back. Place is more so for locals which I like and provides a good hanging out spot to read, study or catch up with friends. They are very well priced and have good quality wifi. Most of everything, great people watching spot since it’s in Little Italy, and also good place to take your dog to hang out on the small patio they have.

Prelims: Located in Little Italy, where parking costs you a child and a leg before 6 pm, Influx has a great atmosphere, with the glass walls and a nice seemingly hidden outdoor patio. You order at the front, where the seemingly hipster servers serves you non-hipster coffee and tea. They have a nice selection of tea, which is surprising because Italians never drink tea apparently; my coffee aficionado friends all state that the coffee here is nice and smooth, even black, and akin to cold brew, despite it not being cold brew. So I guess the coffee is delicious. The tea was very standard; I didn’t have too much variance from other places that source loose leaf tea. The sandwich that I got was pretty decent: I ordered the original, which comes with smoked salmon, tomato(I held the red onions) capers and cream cheese on a bagel. It was very well balanced, with not too much cream cheese, not too much capers, and plenty of smoked salmon to show that this was the primary element of the sandwich. It came out pretty fast and I was gobbling it up with a nice English Breakfast tea. Overall, very pleased and it wasn’t too expensive(relative to Little Italy). Nevertheless, there isn’t anything here that would bring me back multiple times; I enjoyed it as a first timer and it was a nice experience, but there are plenty of other places to go that are better. Consider this a fail safe option that you can go to if you aren’t feeling anything or have no idea where to go. TL;DR Good prices for decent food.

Great coffee shop in little Italy with a clean crisp atmosphere, tasty beverages that are made well and super friendly service. The prices are probably a little higher than most little Italy coffee shops, but the quality is top notch. Seating is comfortable and it’s a great spot to post up and do some reading, catch up with friends, or study.

To say this coffee shop was disappointing would be putting it gently. Every time I walk past this place it’s packed and for the love of god I could not tell you why. The service was friendly but uneducated and uninformed about the product they supply and I have had better shots pulled by the crappy automated espresso machines at Starbucks. Any barista worth their pay would never serve a patron the acidic, burnt, shots that were handed to me across the counter. I look forward to updating my review with a better experience when I find myself, one day, hopefully in the extremely far future, desperate enough, brave enough and forgetful enough to try this place again.

It is quite busy in the middle of a weekday. The indoor seating area was a bit warm/humid. There are only about 8 small tables inside. Seats have backs(not stools), thankfully. There are also more tables out front and on the side of the building. It’s dog friendly since there is outdoor seating. Lots of people are ordering croissants and sandwiches. They also offer oatmeal, salads, bagel sandwiches. I have not tried the food. A 20 oz iced coffee is $ 1.95. A 16 oz latte is $ 3.75. Just to give you an idea. Prices seem normal. There are a few people working on laptops inside the café. It is rather noisy and a wee bit cramped. Overall, it seems like a nice place to grab a coffee and sandwich, it’s just not my favorite place to work. Wifi speed: Latency 36s, download 5.31mbps, upload 1.12Mbps

Every now and then we used to get bagels and breakfast sandwiches from here and bring them back home on lazy weekend mornings, but I finally decided to grab a sandwich and eat here. The line was out the door on a Saturday late morning(around 11:30am) as per usual. My cousin got a bagel egg scramble with bacon and I got a «Turkey 2» with some modifications. Our sandwiches arrived«to-go» anyway, but that was fine since I wanted to take half of my sandwich home anyway. I replaced the Swiss cheese for their fresh mozzarella for an upcharge. SO worth it. It was good, and I can see myself coming up here and grabbing it for lunch someday again soon. My cousin liked his egg scramble bagel as well. I have also gotten the toasted bagel with peanut butter, sliced apples, and cinnamon a few times in the past and it can be difficult to eat, but I like that as well.

What a great coffee spot this is. It’s very modern, trendy and my favorite thing is that they give you your drinks in a real glass mug when you’re drinking«in» and not getting it to go. I’ve seen many friends on FB check in at their other locations and I didn’t know the Little Italy location existed until I walked by it so I had to check it out. Having parents from England I will say I’m very picky with my tea and I’m not a fan of loose leaf tea but it was surprisingly very good here, it definitely topped my expectations. My friend had an espresso which was good and very strong. Parking in Little Italy can be a pain especially on a Saturday when the farmers market is on so this might not be the easiest spot to drive to just to get coffee but if you’re already parked and here for the day then you must stop in for a good cup of tea or coffee!
