Hot Tub Cruisin

We had our daughter’s 10^th birthday on the cycle cruise, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The staff was incredibly friendly, the kids had a blast peddling, listening to music, jumping in and out of the water, etc. Such a great idea for kids and adults alike! So many cool things you could do! Thank you to an awesome company for making it a wonderful day! Highly recommend!

I planned a bachelorette party for my sister with a total of 15 girls! I am so glad I ran across these guys! I Rented the cycle boat for us to do during the day and We had a blast, there was enough room for all 15 of us, our moms had room to lounge in the front while the rest of us paddled and walked around to visit with each other. We used our phone to plug into their system so we could listen to our music, brought our huge bottles of vodka and tons of food! Our guide was awesome and everyone from the bachelorette, her sorority sisters, cousins, friends and our mom all equally had a great time!!! Thanks guys!!!

I rented from Hot Tub Cruising because my friend was visiting from Colorado this weekend and I wanted to do something unique and special. I was excited but also worried it might be one of those things that look awesome online but in reality isn’t that great… this was absolutely NOT that way. We LOVED it! The hot tub was actually really hot (I stayed in there for the entire two hours). The guys jumped off the boat and there is a swim ladder on the back. The boat is easy to steer and has a great lay out with lots of space and a great big ice chest/​cooler. We brought jello shots, grilling supplies, jalapeño poppers, nachos, home made guac, champagne, and beer… Needless to say we had an incredible time. Even though they warn you about parking I though it was super easy and they have a nice big lot right there you can park for free in. They also rent out lockers if you need and there are accessible showers too. The staff was amazing. Every time I talked to the men that built the boat (two really nice brothers) on the phone they were really nice, informative, and professional. Andrew helped us out at the dock and even jet skied out to check on us when we were confused about using the grill. The speakers worked well and we didn’t need an aux cord (I know some places you rent from you have to bring your own– which is lame and doesn’t apply here).
I would highly recommend to anyone! Great for our of town-​ers (and locals alike)! I can’t wait to rent this again. 2 hours was a good amount of time for a somewhat chilly January day but I want to do this for 4 hours in the summer! I also would be interested to try it at night (which is also an option)

This was a really great time. I went out with nine people at night in October. The condos around the bay were lit up and the view was pretty. It was cold out, so we all stayed in the hot tub the whole time. There was enough room for everyone to sit. The people that worked there were really nice and helpful. There weren’t really any downsides.

A friend reserved the boat for a group event, was a little pricey but hey its San Diego what isn’t. So it turns out if you want to drink and they tow you out its actually an additional charge, they bring you out about 100 feet from the dock and park. Firstly, the wakes form other boats spills out about 50% of the water, then secondly the stereo was completely BROKEN the whole time, no music for us. we complained and he offered us a discount next time we book, yeah great thanks buddy.

I did the cycle cruising boat this weekend with my friends. Taylor helped us out and was very friendly (& handsome). My friends and I were able to bump our music loudly on the boat as well as drink openly. Good idea for a nice weekend with friends!

I was beyond impressed with this fun new activity on the San Diego Bay. Taylor was an amazing help with everything. The boat has a great sound system, BBQ and coolers. Two doors to jump and swim in the water and an easy ladder to get back on. The hot tub is filled with fresh water so no need to worry about chlorine. The entire boat and hot tub was super clean and fun. You’re not too hot in the hot tub either! I am a local to SD and would recommend this outing for both tourists and locals. You can also rent their sister boat to do big parties on the bay which would be super fun.

Wow what an incredible time we had on this amazing boat! the staff was amazing, the boat was great and i couldnt say anything bad, it was all incredible!!! Best way to party on the water, with your friends and in a hot tub!

I rented this boat for my 30^th bday through living social. What a great time. Boat was new and in great condition. It has side running lights that light up the water at night, a great sound system, and plenty of room for 10. Jacuzzi was piping hot and staff was informative, extremely helpful, and kind. BBQ didn’t work as good as I had hoped but all in all I would recommend this to anyone at full price. I will be renting again. Thank you Hot Tub Cruzing.

Decided to have my 30^th on the hot tub boat. I had a blast! How could you resist doing this in San Diego weather!!! Do it. We went swimming, blasted our tunes drank to the final hour. Great customer service too.

My friend booked through this company for her birthday. She showed me pictures from their online website and I thought it looked awesome but was worried that once we showed up it’d be something completely different. However, to my surprise it was exactly like they had advertised! We didn’t want to pay for a driver nor did we want to drive ourselves since we planned to drink so we had the company take us out in the middle of the bay and dock us there. For the next two hours we jumped in the bay, blasted music, ate some good food we brought, and drank really good beer and a mix we made and put into a 5 gallon Gatorade container (highly suggest doing this).
Great company and the employees were welcoming and helpful. I highly suggest booking for a fun party or event or if you are just trying to have a good time!!! Down fall of this is that only 10 people can go on the boat but it would be crowded if there was more. Definitely worth the money and something everyone should do at some point in San Diego! I loved the hot tub boat!!!

Making dreams a reality! Hot tub on a boat! Genius. Went down to San Diego for my girlfriend’a birthday. Spoke with zac on the phone and he was super friendly and accommodating. We booked a cruise on Saturday, 11:30 — 2:30. We arrived in Mission Bay and Taylor was amazing. He gave us a quick run down and off we were. It was the most fun we had in San Diego. We played music, drank champagne, and just had the best time ever. Thank you hot tub cruisin! Can’t wait to do it again and can’t wait to see y’all open up in more locales. Too much fun!

Simply bad ass. Maybe it was me but Im sure the boat had something to do with it. Austin was a champion and made things quick and easy. Well done guys. My only complain is that I really wanted to cruise beyond the bridage boundries which is not allowed for obvious reasons. But hey, your mostly drifting and chillin anyhow.

What an amazingly fun thing to do in San Diego! We arranged a «sunset cruise» for a couple of hours and rented the spa-​boat about a half hour before sunset. Cruised on out to the middle of Sail Bay and just drifted while sitting in the jacuzzi, sipping drinks and watching the sun go down. Magic! Some of us jumped off the boat to swim in the bay and then climbed back into the spa and it was great. The slight rocking of the boat sloshed the water a bit in the spa and this just made for an even more relaxing soak. Other reviews have given great tips on how to get the best experience and I agree with them. I brought my MP3 player with playlist to listen to on the stereo and it worked great. The pontoon boat is easy to drive, just keep aware that when you stop while everyone’s in the tub, you’ll still be drifting and you want to stay clear of the shore. Also, we drifted south quite a ways from Santa Clara Point (the home base for the company), so it took quite a while (it’s a slow boat) to get back to the dock, so leave plenty of time for this. Taylor (the owner) was great in helping us out in every way. Highly recommend this for a group of friends, a family outing, a company event, or just any time to get away in about the most fun way I can think of. Enjoy!

Simply the best time ever. Take 9 of your best friends and just go! This makes for a great day whether you are a tourist or just want to feel like one for 2 hrs.

Hot tub on a boat on the bay?! Oh, no you din’t. Mmm hmm, yes, I did!
It’s crazy; it’s fun; and a good way to spend time with your friends. They have a small grill on the boat (a hot tub stuck in the middle of a pontoon), and one of the seats doubles as a cooler. Bring your snacks and sunscreen and enjoy three hours around the bay.
While we ventured out I saw other water activities I needed to try such as the jet pack thingamajig, SUP, and SUP yoga. Man, I love this city!
Tip: Parking in this area is a nightmare. If you can’t find a spot, there is the lot right next to it, but also try the NEXT lot over from there and just take the short walk along the sidewalk.

The past few years, my friends and I have begun a tradition of renting a pontoon boat at night to docking near the Sea World fireworks. When I heard of this new type of boat rental we jumped at the opportunity, booking a 3 hour rental on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. This was one of, if not the best experiences I have had on a boat, and it was so much fun we called the staff and asked to stay out for an additional hour. We even thought about adding one more, but decided not to. The staff was extremely friendly and laid back. They got us all prepped and off on our rental quickly, even accommodating a mid rental dock to pick up another person. At first we were a little bummed that we could not drive past the bridges because we wanted to cruise by OTL that day. It did not matter at all, because it was just so relaxing and enjoyable to just hang out with friends in the bay. We wondered how much the hot tub would add to the experience of just being on the bay water. To me it was totally worth it! This is a perfect way to spend the day on the water with friends. We have a new tradition!

Hot tub cruisin was one of the best experiences I’ve had on a boat in the bay! The reservation process was totally easy, and being able to sit in a hot tub, in the middle of the bay, drinkin a beer and enjoying the stars was perfect! I will definitely be coming back and renting this boat again!
