Hope is amazing! She always manages to squeeze me in, even though I’m not a very regular client. Her work is immaculate. She is the only person I will go to for gel nails because she knows how to put them on right so they look great and last for weeks and she uses the correct product (NOT just acetone like other salons) to get it off so your nail bed isn’t damaged. On top of all this, she is a delightful person and makes the time sitting across from her fun rather than a chore. I can’t recommend her highly enough. She has also moved into her own salon where she also does spray tanning (which I haven’t done, but looks great) so ignore older comments about her being in a room of another salon.

Was told she stopped doing acrylics 3 years ago… um. Ok…
I explain I have called numerous places and have been very frustrated when she admits she will do acrylics but charges 60 for them. WHAT? Ludicrous! Then adds that she normally does them for 75. I tell her that is insane and way over priced. I normally go to Lin at LV nails where a full set of acrylics is rarely over 40 depending if you want gel or polish. Clearly she charges more because she doesn’t like doing them not for the quality.
The fact she had to say it’s normally 75 when she gave me a «deal» at 60 is bad business plain and simple. She said she didn’t want to do sets of acrylics all day. I don’t blame her but it has resulted in a poor review and loss of my business. Good luck.

The best EVER! Been going to her for almost 10 years, we both have busy schedules and she always makes a way to squeeze me in. Theres been a few times in the past I knew she was busy so I cheated on her and went elsewhere… Biggest mistake ever, my shellac would peel off in 4 days and then I’d have to have her fix it so it was pointless. Never going anywhere else so I recommend you don’t waste your time trying, just start with hope and you’ll be good to go!

Hope is OCD when it comes to nails, and I appreciate that. Not only do my nails always look flawless, but she takes great care of them.
After getting shellac at other salons for a year, I felt like my nails were weakening. After getting shellac by Hope for nearly a year, my nails feel stronger than ever! She uses the highest quality products and techniques for removal, and I can honestly say that it makes a huge difference.
No walk-​ins though — you have to book in advance.

Perfect toes! I am a stickler for impeccable polish and if I am going to sit for a pedicure, it better be perfect and better last. I’m happy to report that after 2 weeks, my toes look like I just walked out of the salon! Hope got right down to business helping my sad callous and travel worn toes. I’m so grateful to have found her!

Satisfied every time. Laid back atmosphere, Hope is easy to talk to about anything. Love Shellac, great price too. Excellent cuticle work and nail detail, which bring me back time and again. Haven’t tried the spray tan yet, but I’m sure it’s in my future. Cannot recommend her highly enough.

Hope IS really nice and is accommodating, just like other reviewers have mentioned. It is too bad she has to work in a closet-​like room. It is cutely decorated but not at all a relaxing environment. The room is part of a hair salon that is buzzing. This is a positive sign for the business, but if you want some peace during your mani/​pedi, that might not happen here.
Like another reviewer for the hair salon, Hope is kind, but she seems to be thinking a million things at the same time and it shows. This adds to the slightly hectic atmosphere.

I had never been to Hope before and I heard about Shellac. I looked on Unilocal yesterday and read her reviews which were already great. I called her and she got me in the same day and I’ve got to tell you my nails have NEVER looked so good!!! I loved her, she has a great spirit. We talked, I had a nice glass of wine, relaxed and in a matter of minutes my nails looked fabulous!!! If you’ve never been I HIGHLY recommend her services. I don’t write reviews but for Hope I had to because she’s just that good!

After I moved to SD, I looked for someone to do my nails for about 7 years. No one even came close to what I would consider to be a decent service! 3 years ago I found Hope and I am as happy as I can ever be. She is amazing and I would recommend her to any lost soul looking to have great looking nails.

I love Hope! Her work is amazing! She is so clean, she hands me my file and buffer after I’m done. After watching a video on youtube about chopshop nail salons, I will never go any where near there again!
