Shawn Heller is as good as it gets. This guy does not fool around. He gets the job done and he communicates with you throughout the entire process. We had water damage at a rental unit we own, and he made the place look better than it did when we started. Shawn is a perfectionist and will not let anything pass his standard unless it’s perfect. He had his flooring contractor come back and re-​do part of the job that he thought was sub-​par in our condo. Shawn is a dream contractor, super professional and very fairly priced. I would highly recommend him for all of your home improvement needs.

We had water damage and mold remediation in our rental unit which is how I was introduced to Shawn. He took care of putting the condo back together after the mold was taken care of. He worked closely with Pacy from Same Day Restoration to take care of the damage in a timely manner. It was very nice having someone that was responsive and took care of the job efficiently and professionally.

These guys seriously saved the day and will be my first call for anything home related. I had a water leak and damage in my place the day before Thanksgiving. After getting the immediate mitigation dealt with and starting down the path of reconstruction with another contractor, I found out they would not be able to get my place done before Christmas. Thankfully, someone had already given me Shawn’s number because I was headed out of town and at a loss for what to do next. He not only answered the phone that evening but said he could meet with me the next day and was sure he could have me fixed up by the holiday which I pretty much needed to hear for my sanity.
From the first conversation with Shawn I felt like he was definitely going to get it done and knew the whole process of dealing with the insurance company. For me, it was an unbelievable amount of insurance appointments and an 18 page settlement document that I really couldn’t wrap my brain around. He showed up with that document, did his measurements and told me what he thought had been shorted in the settlement and what I should ask for. At this point, I had a certain amount of brain fatigue with the whole thing and definitely needed someone who could just deal with it and Shawn definitely did.
Not only did he get it done, he completely off loaded all of my stress about the situation. I was so relieved to walk away and let him deal with it that I had to be talked into coming by to look at the initial work. That is not the me that I know so that says a lot. Shawn and his whole crew are great guys that I was completely comfortable entrusting my place to and are just good to be around. That is important when people are coming and going during a process like this.
Losing the first contractor ended up being a blessing in disguise. They got it done and now I’ve got people I’m 100% comfortable with for all the other things that need to be fixed or updated.
Also, my neighbor’s have commented several times at how «on point» these guys were. It says a lot that the neighbor’s were happy during the week these guys spent here. We’ve all lived thru each other’s maintenance and remodels and it can sometimes be tiring dealing with the noise and messes that are a part of that but these guys managed to keep my neighbors happy too which I definitely appreciate.
I really can’t say enough good things about Shawn and his crew! They definitely turned the whole situation around for me so I will gladly refer them to anyone I know.

Heller contracting saved the day when my rental unit was drowned after a water pipe opened. After the dryout/​restoration, everything needed repair and replacing: painted walls, kitchen flooring, bathroom vanity, and cleanup all over. Shawn was wonderful to work with, even with my being out of town. He sent me pictures of what he was referencing, and proceeded to arrange all services. When I got back to town the painting was nearly done, and done well. Then he actually went to shop with me for bath and kitchen materials (I had done a preview shop so I didn’t take his whole day!), advising me as to what would work best. He finished up when he said he would, and really absorbed my «pain» in an otherwise very painful emergency and ruinous situation. As a manager of a yoga studio, I have had a variety of distinct needs that have required both timely and professional attention ranging from flooding issues, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work.
