Perfect spot to pick up your food and libations for sailing, such as a deli sandwich or chocolates and drinks at Harbor Island. Al also has a great grilled burger stand complete with grilled onions and all the fixings for lunch. Absolutely delicious!

Good little breakfast spot by the hilton and sheraton on harbor island. Limited selection but have the basics such as bagel or biscuit sandwiches, burritos, omelettes, donuts, etc. Affordable and tasty alternative to the crappy and expensive breakfast at Sheraton Bay Tower. Nice seating on the patio as well with great views to relax first thing in the morning.

went there for a reuben and I must say someone has no clue what’s in a reuben. but the Guy named Al working wiped his face with his hands then proceeded to make a sub sandwich and touch all the meat with his bare hands, GROSS!!!

Stopped by this spot for some«Adult Sodas» on A Saturday morning and was pleasantly surprised. We were near the water in Diego and it’s tough to find a liquor store believe it or not. So after driving a few blocks we made it here and they had plenty selection. We grabbed what we came for and then decided that we had better eat before drinking so we decide to order a sandwich. All 3 of us enjoyed our sandwiches,…the patio has a fantastic view of the water & boats. The lady working behind the counter was really friendsly and patient with us… This will definitely be our go-to spot the next time we’re in town!

After Abe’s comprehensive reveiw there isn’t much for me to say other than«I agree». This liquor/deli is very convenient option for anyone staying at the Hilton next door. I wish we knew about it earlier! Itens to add to Abe’s review: — Interesting people at the tables. Mostly boating types who all seemed to be having a good time. They were nice to be around. — Very nice staff. VERYNICE. — Good selection of food and drink. Dietz & Watson meats — can’t get any better than that! — Reasonable prices. — 4th of July BBQ. I ate lunch at the Harbor Island Liquor & Deli on Wednesday of this week. Parking was very good. I found several open spots at lunchtime. The outside open-air tables and plastic patio chairs were empty. The view of the harbor boats was very good. I kept my sunglasses on to shield my eyes. I walked inside the small deli and promptly orderd the daily special. The chef/attendant was meticulous, he wrote down my order and the cost, and when I dropped a tip in the counter jar, he rang a small bell. There was no crowd at lunchtime, my burgers were on the grill and on the plate in a fast time. The Double Double with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pepperchinos — hot off the grill juicey and tastey. This is what an American cheeseburger tastes like. Not bad for a lunch burger, not bad. Maui Onion Chips — a great compliment for the cheeseburger. Slight sweet flavor, good. Starbucks White Chocolate Energy — I wanted to try something sweet. This energy drink was okay. The extra star goes to the black and white shag dog that wandered around the tables. He was well behaved, didn’t bark, and waited patiently for a handout. He made my day. This place is okay for lunch. Definitely coming back for another burger, and pet the dog.
