Jan has been doing my hair for about eight years she is great at what she does and I’ve never not been satisfied. I have three sister and a aunt who also get their hair done by this talented woman. Jan has not only become my hair stylist but also a great friend! she is the only person I trust with my hair.

I LOVE JAN! She has been doing my hair for years and I won’t let anyone in San Diego touch my lovely locks thanks to her. She does an amazing job and everywhere I go I get asked who takes care of your hair? Being biracial you have to be careful who let in your hair but this lady right here really knows what she is doing. See you in a few weeks Ms. Jan! :)

Had my hair colored twice by JAN. The first time, it was not the color I had picked from her book. I gave her another chance because she’s a nice person. The second time, Jan told me that if she did not get the color right, she would give me a discount. The color did not turn out right. Jan quicklly backtracked on her discount deal because… said she…“it was the fault of my hair” !!! She charged me the full price. How disingenuous does it get?
My advice: Go there at your own risk! or better yet, find another hairdresser who knows what he/she is doing.

My good friend has been seeing Jan for like 10 years. I finally got so fed up with my curly hair that I asked her for Jan’s contact info. Jan fixed my hair that very day. I had been weighing it down with product, stripping the curl out of it by slicking it back, and basically just doing everything wrong. Jan explained all my curly hair sins to me, taught me how to use a diffuser, and gave me a great cut. Now I embrace my curls instead of trying to tame them!
