Linda Stroberg was my loan officer and she did a phenomenal job. This is my first house and I was really confused about the whole process. Linda walked me through and explained any questions I had. She even helped me close a few days early so I could move in over the weekend rather than on a Monday.

They care about their customers and it is so rewarding knowing we are helping people buy their own homes. Guild Mortgage definitely saved our family. We had been tied up with another company for the longest time, only to be disappointed in the end. Guild not only treated us with the best service, but also recognized the time we had lost with the other company, and therefore completed the process with amazing speed. They were also great in communicating, as we originally lived far away from La Jolla. Considering all the stress that goes into this process, Guild was great at relieving as much of the stress as the could. A great experience.

Although the office itself doesn’t feel very welcome as you walk in, the lovely Linda Stroberg was a fantastic mortgage officer, easily working with my VA loan and all its intricacies. She coordinated with HOA, Escrow, Termite people, underwriters, etc., and made it all happen … in fact escrow closed 2 weeks early due to Linda’s diligence. I wanted a local mortgage company to service my loan and Guild has been in San Diego for decades (as I understand). I can’t speak about other branches of Guild, they tend to get terrible ratings. But for servicing a VA loan, the University City at Shoreham Place location mortgage officers rate a five star performance.
