Gold Stripe Tattoo

I went to a tattoo/​pole dance show hosted by Gold Stripe Tattoo and fell in love with Tim’s white charcoal artwork. I basically love every single thing of his piece so I only wanted some minor changes to make the tattoo more personal. Tim totally got what I wanted and the design came out perfect. It was my first tattoo so I was pretty nervous but Tim actually made my experience very comfortable. He is very talented, professional and efficient. The whole process took only around 2.5 hours and seriously, I couldn’t believe so beautiful the end-​product is. I showed my tattoo to all my pole dancing friends and they all loved it and asked who did my tattoo. I am also very impressed by his dedication and enthusiam about his work (or «picky» according to himself). He knew I am leaving San Diego in a week so he called me in to the shop the next day just to make sure in person whether he needed to nitpick anything or not. He knew I was a first-​timer so he gave me very detailed direction of how to take care of it and asked me to contact him if I have any problem. I would totally recommend Tim to anyone who wants to get a tattoo.

I stopped in one day expecting to get a small tattoo and had the pleasure of meeting Paul. Paul took my idea and transformed it into something much bigger. I ended up with two mermaids and a pearl in a shell on my chest, under my breast.
Paul worked with me and we the tattoo in two sessions. Minus set up, it took roughly five hours. He worked with price and his philosophy is if he quotes you for six and it goes beyond that, he doesnt charge you extra. He is very light handed and worked with me, especially given that the area I was getting tattooed is more sensitive compared to other parts.
Will definitely come back.

Tim lees is a true ink master. I am really satisfied with his work. In my case I had an old tattoo I wanted to cover up and I talked to several tattoo artist and none of them wanted to cover up my tattoo. When I met Tim we set up a consultation and discussed what I wanted an after that we started working together, he came up with his own ideas and we put it all together and came up perfect. If you want a quality of work of a tattoo do not hesitate to contact this ink master you will be 100% satisfied.

Came in the tattoo shop late at night (closing time) and Patrick was happy to assist me even though his wife and kids were waiting for him. I showed him what I wanted to get a price quote for another day and he ended up staying late to do it, sending wife and kids home to do my tattoo. I thought that was a really nice gesture. On top of that I could not have picked a better artist. His work is amazing and I will definitely recommend him to anyone and especially small detailed tattoos. Thanks again! If it helps to know he has been doing this for about 20yrs. Oh And the shop is very artistic. Love it!

Yesterday when I was getting my 3^rd Tattoo I was talking to a lady who was sweet she is a retired teacher and is getting her 1^st tattoo of Shakespeare by the owner of the shop. The owner is so well known for her talent and artwork she is invited to Comic Con for the past 10 years. I talked to Paul about this lady and his response «tattoos are not stereotyped anymore.». FYI a good tattoo artists can draw anything from ink on your ass to art on woodwork to painting on canvas. Tattoos can represent your inner beauty if you choose to get one do it from your inner beauty. Southern California is full of so many people displaying their inner beauty. So when you are ready go to Gold Stripe Tattoo and she my good friend Paul he made my ass look sexy!

This place really is awesome. All of the artists here are straight tattoo killers. Everything that comes out of this shop looks great, and the artists attitude are awesome. It’s a nice clean shop, with great art at good prices in a very convenient location. I can’t speak highly enough about the shop or the artists. If you’re looking for your next place to sink some ink, I’d stop in here for sure.
